Pokemoma, the link is right here. Some things I think should be added to the guide are: You don't need to be 110+ combat. As long as you have 70 range, 43 prayer, and a lot of knowledge of the Caves, it's possible (heck, Muggi's level 57 pure did it :shock:). The Sara Brew/Super Restore method. If you are under 75 prayer, this method is most likely better because Super Restores heal more prayer than prayer pots if your level is 74 or lower. Also, mention that Sara Brews increase defence and can temporarily raise your hits level, but it is important to drink a super restore after this, because attack, strength, mage, and range suffer from the use of a Sara Brew. The use of two crystal bows instead of xbow. If an xbow is too costly, many people use the alternative of two crystal bows. You use one crystal bow for everyone up to the Jad, and whip out a brand new one as soon as you get to him. Also, in the guide, for "Getting to the 360's" there is no alternative of ranging the 180s. This helpful method stops the 180s from healing, and you can still run back to the safespot after killing the 90s once they start to appear. The guide also displays a little-used safespot. I think a picture of the Italy Rock safespot (the one most-used) should be added. As for the Jad "lure and kill method", I don't think that is available anymore. It was a bug early on for about two weeks when the fight caves first came out. Now, no matter where you are, the Jad can mage/range you (unless you are unable to range/mage him). So this method should be removed. For the second method, you mention the "rocks falling from the ceiling" or the "fireball" attacks he has. True, these are his attacks, but you can't correctly gauge his attacks (and your correct prayer) from the projectile animation; you must look at his feet. If he stands up on his front legs for a while, it's a mage attack. If he lifts his front legs and quickly slams them on the ground, it's range. The healers, Yt-MejHur's, are not mentioned in the Monsters section. Perhaps they should be added? They are level 108 however; in the second to last sentece of the Jad methods, they are listed as 102. Also, if you decide to kill the healers, you MUST get the Jad down below half hp. Otherwise, once you get him down to half HP again, another four will be summoned. Instead of killing them, the guide should mention lining them up and using the Steel Skin prayer so that only one healer is attacking at once. Almost lastly, you can also write about using the entire Italy rock to shield yourself against the Jad. It's hard to describe, but if you are on one side of the big Italy rock, the Jad can get trapped on the other. This makes it possible to regroup without fear of prayer switching. It's also a nice time to take out the healers without having to worry about prayer switching. Lastly, the stats of the fire cape should be included. They are: +1 to all attack +11 to all defence +4 to strength +2 to prayer WOW...that took long. Hope some of this info helps! Thanks, I remember reading that site a while back, and it refreshed my memory. One thing I didn't quite understand: If my understanding of this is correct, Auto-Rune somehow got into the Jagex server, typed in "580" (the pink party hat ID) in some kind of noted form, placed the number of pink phats offered as "0" and put it up on the trade screen. The other person's side got a value of 1 from the server, therefore creating multiple items. Is this right? Second, is it true that Andrew offered lifetime membership to any person who told him how the cheat worked; he then banned the person who told and everyone else involved? If so, seems like a pretty petty thing to do. Third, I read this. There was a bug where people could attack bankers? Can anyone explain this?

Ok, I joined RS in about April '05, so it's clear I wasn't around for the dupe. I have a few questions that I'd like the wiser Runescape players to answer for me. 1. When was it exactly? I've heard dates varying from November 3rd to 7th, and I'm not sure who to believe. 2. How exactly was the bug exploited? Was it using the program Auto-Rune, or was it just a flaw in Jagex's game? 3. Who was the first person to discover it? I think it's Kait...somthing-or-other. But I've heard of a couple different people who've claimed they found it. Any other information is greatly appreciated. I'm just naturally curious about this subject. :mrgreen: Thanks in advance.

E was generous enough to donate 100 sharks for cooking, and Socc was able to give me supplies for 9k iron darts for more xp to me! And I also got 58 slayer and 80 hits on the same troll. Weird, huh? o.O

X-ing out in a duel is when you x out of the Runescape screen during a boxing stake. Then since the Jagex server doesn't detect your presence, you are logged out, and the stake is like it never took place. Since it takes a while for a person to die due to no weapons, when you x out, your opponent usually has 4-5 hits on you left. This is more than enough time for the Jagex server to be confused.

Cows are always good. When I was lower leveled, I worked there till 40 attack, strength, and defence. Plus, they drop cowhides, which can be a nice beginner's source of money in f2p.

Definitely iron. Coal is usually a waste of time, seeing as how it can take extremely long to mine just one ore. Iron is much faster xp and cash.

The ogre cage at King Lathas' Training Camp is pretty good. The ogres can't attack you from behind the cage, so it's safe. However, you need to do Plague City and Biohazard (P2P quests) to get in. It's located a little bit northwest of East Ardougne. Another suggestion would be the rock crabs, located north of Seers Village and Rellaka. They're level 13 and have 50 hp, so they're great for training.

Dev1l, this is supposed to be the Help and Advice forum. There's no need to flame him, he's not even trying to say it was an accident. Anyway, I think it's 10 offenses. I'm not sure, it used to be 3 black marks. However, knowing how many offenses you can have shouldn't change your decision of being more careful in the future. Just use the ignore list or tele if a person is bothering you; don't respond back.

When you become a member, it's important to know that your money will not be wasted. For example, if your fishing is low, and you were going to train at Draynor for a little while, you may want to wait on getting membership, seeing as how you can do that without paying. Obviously, if you want the community to be different, (and since everyone is usually more respectable in P2P), membership at any level would be fine. It depends on how you look at it.

For Rapidshare, you need to scroll down a little bit after you click the link. It should have a table outlining the benefits of Premium membership compared to downloading for free. Click the "free" icon. Here's a pic. Click the free button. Then you'll get to a page which says how long you have to wait. It's usually 20-50 seconds. When it does, you'll see a box with letters/numbers in it. Type them in the box, click enter, and your download should start. As per MegaUpload, it's almost the same thing. At the top right, there should be letters/numbers. Type them in the box, and you'll be promted to wait. After that, click where it says "Click to download".

I actually got that :lol: Good luck! I just think that selling rune scimmies don't usually sell for 45k. You might want to alter the price to attract more buyers. In any case, keep trying!

Uh oh, quad post. 68 mining.

Well, I've been gone for a while. I haven't been doing much is RS lately; games room with friends, parties, selling, and some green drag hunting. Then I found myself in a state of boredom; I truly did not want to kill more drags, and I needed some cash. So, I decided to get 85 mining. I've only got one level today, and I hope I can make it. With any luck, I'll have the level in about two and half weeks.

Maxed out QP (again) and got 56 herb. Well, I got 56 herb first. Then the quest. So. Yay. For. Me.

Thanks :) I need some cash at the moment to buy oak logs and convert them into planks. I'll need about 5M, which will take me to 75 construction. So long for now ~
