Nope. I had completed RFD at 65 Defence, and I got to wear the ownage gloves. These gloves own so much. Did I mention that the Barrows gloves are ownage?

No, he drinks a jug of wine before attacking each monster which gets him to 0 attack. Then he uses a rubber chicken to hit the monster. I wasn't around for the Rubber Chicken, so can you clarify how he attacks but doesn't get combat xp?

Aww, I'm sorry to see you go. I remember that great article you made about the rares, and all the help you've given the Tip community. That was a ton of rares you got banned with...I'm really surprised. Prices might shoot up now lol. Not that it matters to me, I still can't afford any good rares. But now that you're leaving, can you possibly give out your merchanting secrets to the newbs like me? :D -

Ok. When the Jad appears, he'll use either mage or range: obviously, you know that. He will always hold his two front feet up first. If he holds them up for a while, it's his mage attack. If he holds them up for a lil bit then slams them on the ground, that's range. The prayer swiching method takes a couple tries to get it perfect. -

Yes, you did. Ever since the Recipe for Disaster quest has been released, you can purchase new gloves from the Culinoromancer's Chest, in the Lumbridge cellar. Each time you complete a sub-quest of R.F.D., you get increased access to the chest. When you fully complete the quest, the final gloves, Dark Gloves or Barrows Gloves (they don't have a name), become availible to you. And next time, a question like this should go in "Help and Advice."

This could be implemented, possibly at the makeover mage? I dunno, Jagex justs wants them to be nontradeable. Because this would make the wildy completely unbalanced. Imagine someone with 4 items priced over a whip: you pk him, only to find he decided to keep his whip. It's just not fair. Don't bring anything into the wildy you're not willing to lose. You just didn't merch fast enough. The prices don't change every 3 seconds. You can't really buy an obby cape for 400k, wait a week, then try and sell it for 450k. It may be 350k by then.

Very true. If you do something out of the good of your heart, why is it so hard for the other person to show a little gratitude? I've picked up someone's items after they had died, gave it back to them, then they teled. How rude.

Salim, get out of here. Sorry to be so harsh, but advertising your own thread, while contributing nothing to this thread, is pretty foolish. As for your guide, I like it. :) Though I suspect many people of autotyping, it is very hard to tell; I wish there was some kind of way to be absolutely sure that someone is autotyping. But, then again, no one would autotype if it was that easy to be noticed.

I have a sig I'd like to use. I made sure it was 300 x 150, but it seems it's a little less than 44 kb in size. Is there any way I can make it under 30kb so I can use them here? This is want I'm planning to use as my sig. Thanks to anyone who can help. (By the way, I didn't put this in H&A because it isn't Runescape-related. Feel free to move it if I'm mistaken.)

According to this helpful guide, you get 500 gp every time thereafter. And if you lose your zombie, it'll be replaced in your next random event.

Though I haven't done them all, I'd have to say MEP2 was the hardest. Those level 73 shadows kept me on my toes (too bad I lost my death tally there :D ). Sheep Herder and MM were annoying, but MEP2 was like little-brother-won't-shut-the-hell-up-in-a-9-hour-car-trip annoying.

First of all, what's so bad about people HYT'ing you? I like it when someone says that to me :). And besides, if Tip changes the homeworld, everyone will flock to that world, and therefore causing the whole problem to occur all over again. -
I think what the original poster meant was you can weild a d scimmy after MM, but in order to get to Ape Atoll, you need to talk to the dude who takes you to the hangar, who also gives the xp. If you don't get the xp, you can't get to the hangar, so pures can't get to Ape Atoll.

Pretty much. If you initiate combat with any player in the wildy, you will get a skull. Should you die, you will lose everything on you, unless you use the "Protect One Item" prayer, in which case you keep one item. If someone attacked you, and therefore initiated combat first, he/she gets the skull, and you will keep 3 of your most "valuable" (I use this term very loosely) items, or 4 items if you used the prayer I said above. If you get a skull, it will last for about 20 minutes, whether you are in or out of the wildy. Be extra careful when attacking NPC's or getting random events outside of the wildy with a skull, because you will still lose everything.

Aww...I did MEP2 and everything, just for this party...Ah well. But, you could still hold it at the death altar. No one has to say that we can't use the normal method of gaining access to the death altar. You could either go through the light temple or the underground pass. Well, I couldn't, because I died right after I placed the new crystal in the black one, and lost my death tally. :D Grats on 99 slayer. :wink: -
Ummm...couple things. First, if you got hacked and lost most of your valuables, what exactly are you giving away? Pointless items? And second, isn't camo not tradeable?

I believe there is an old proverb... Give a man a fish, and he will be full for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he will be full for the rest of his life. Moral of this is to teach the newbs to make their own armor or find a stable source of income (for the time being, that is). Giving them free items just teaches them that if they want something, all they need to do is beg people for it. I'm not saying this is the case for all people, but for the majority, it is. It was, however, nice that you decided to help out other players.

Not true. The standard form letter that JaGeX sends in response to kill count querries tells all players that killing all six brothers increases your chances for getting a piece of Barrows Equipment from the chest. I don't think he's talking about the 6 brothers part of the theory, he's talking about the fastest time part. Maybe I'm wrong :oops: . Back on topic, if what you say is true, maybe Jagex is giving you a little compensation for the time you wasted? Just a theory :) -
I think you mean the "newbs" are the ones that kill chickens for food. Just because they are low level doesn't allow them to be called noobs, they are just new at the game. And as for your question, accounting for both f2p and p2p, I think 70 is average.
