Yay blogs! Keep up the attempts at Araxxor! It took me 25 attempts to get my first kill, followed by another 10 or so deaths in like my first 20 kills after that. Then it all just 'clicked' and now I die like once every 50 or so kills. Not including when I afk or something equally stupid and preventable. Let me know if you ever want to go duo araxxor on beta or something. Its harder on duo, but like, it might be helpful to have someone else there... Edit: also i only have 400 Araxxi kills, not 18,000.

Hello! I don't think I've really posted on your blog before :( :( :( Keep it up with your ironman(s?) ... those things take dedication! ... Which I know you know, but damn lol. That is some dedication that I do not have.

Here's a tip I actually got from Da_Latios/Hiroki/Mori/Whatever his name is now: At the very beginning, change your prayer to range, so that Araxxi attacks with mage. Then change your prayer to Soul Split. Your armor will actually deflect most of the damage (a surprising amount of damage, I'd like to add). If you can, save your adrenaline up and use Death's Swiftness at about 45k LP, then use Rapid fire at like... 26k lp, if you can. Because then you can sip up adrenaline potion once she drains it, and fire off a snapshot before Death Swiftness ends. ^^ that's my personal favorite, because the rapid fire will get her down to liek 16k, followed by snapshot which will hit like 14k. Well i keep dying in the same way so im gonna bring a phoenix neck or two and try this. C'mon don't leave us hanging... did it work??

Fixed Also this is actually the first tme I'm killing araxxi up to 300 enraged... I'm really surprised at how not tough it is. (I had tried once, and died like 3 times in a row a 260 enraged, but that was very early on in my kills... I guess I figured ... idk. But I have a lot of [bleep]ing food left, lol. Though araxxi's normal attack did hit a 6k on me. Yikes.)

First Araxxor kill took 25 attempts I was up to 35 deaths by like my 15th kill. So in about 385 kills, I've died 10 times. (Not counting DCs... obviously) I died like 5 times this weekend, but that was because at most points I was literally not paying attention at all. Or... just using rapid fire and snapshot at 220 enraged nonstop. (I died twice in a span of 5 minutes. 1st pictured above, then on next kill i used freedom and when he cleaved i just.... didn't move lmfao rip 9k cleave.) (Before this weekend I hadn't died in like 70-80 kills. Idk exact number, but it has been a WHILE. lol) edit: also I've only died like 4 times at ROTS.

mfw i got an araxxi drop in february everyone's one all "omfg grats" and now people are just like "[bleep] man your the worst" or like "LMFAO" i don't really care but, like, I'D LIKE TO SEE ALONAI GET 400 ARAXXI KILLS.

It's the spider's every 5th attack, and this goes for both Araxxor and Araxxi. It matters a lot especially with Araxxi's increased attack speed. Yeah. And anticipation lasts for two attacks, freedom lasts for like... 1.5 ish? IDK. So you don't even have to keep perfect count of the attacks - god knows I never do. You just have to be in the ballpark. edit: and if you're fast, you can also use anticipation/freedom AS araxxor is webbing you. I do that a lot, heh. :D

huge grats on eye now go back to araxxor already i want to see 100 kc in 4 days.

Yeah Mage araxxor is incredibly hard (comparatively). Range Araxxor can be challenging at first, but it's really quite easy once you get his basic mechanics down. (Wait 4 attacks, use anticipation. wait 4 attacks, use freedom. wait 4 attacks, use anticipation) as well as using resonance and a bleed ability during heal web goes a long way in preserving your stuff until p4. Once you get into P4, one method of attack, is to pray range, then switch to soul split. This will keep her maging you - which, provided you have good armor on, will deflect a lot of her damage, as well as save you from having to constantly prayer flick. --------------------------- That said, last night, I died at Araxxor and forgot to loot my grave. inb4 "how do you forget your grave?" idk i just did. lost 60 or 70m Did i cry? yes for hours but once i was done i went back to araxxor: kill 395: (4th kill of the day) Kill 397: EDIT I POSTED THE SAME PIC TWICE k made my bank back l0l edit: kill 398: pheromone Which meansa 399 should be Eye, and 400 will be pet :s pls pls
