Guides are a way of expressing opinion, in any fashion the poster wishes. If the poster likes incomplete sentences, bad grammar, and a capitalized title, who are we to tell him that he is doing it wrong. So quit the flame bait, if a guide is bad, then just let it be forgotten among the more active guides.

The surprise part, yeah, everything is about mind games, not missile spamming :lol: Edgehogging with Olimar is risky business, because if you get hit and you hit the edge surface, you are going down. Its more like every character should edgehog against Olimar. So I prefer to try and [bleep]e (Even though its like impossible on WiFi).

Much to learn, young grasshopper. The last match I showed some of my true power. Things to keep in mind: - Use the Whistle (Never seen you used it once in the match) - Olimar is about surprise, using the same move over and over again doesn't do you any good - Never fling all your Pikmen, ever. Use in moderation - When coming back after losing a stock, don't get all 6 Pikmen back at once, otherwise you are open to the opponent's attacks - Olimar should never Edgehog, only Edge Guard, mainly with F-air and D-air if you are feeling lucky - Keep track of Pikmen color, if a White one is next, then don't use F-Smash, etc - N-air has monstrous priority, use it to get out of a combo - Grabbing is good, but using it too often leaves you open - If the opponent is hanging on the edge, grab them after the invincibility frames (Only character that can grab opponents hanging) You did much better in the end, and for that, good job!

No one cares about the games anymore. The 8 gym thing is done and gone. Its the metagame, and all the complex procedures required to make a worthy team (Breeding, IV, EV, etc) that makes the games appealing towards the competitive field. Only kids think Pocket Monsters is kiddy. :shame:

True right here. Think about it. Yu-gi-oh. Pokemon. Digimon. (those 3 off the top of my head). They last what.. 5 yrs max? Now in TCG terms.. look at something like.. MTG? no tv shows.. and its been around forever... Yu-gi-oh got most of its out of Japan publicity through the terrible dubbing known as 4Kids. Usually its the other way around, if there is a TV show, no trading card game. An anime based on a card game works to some extend, such as Yu-gi-oh and Duel Masters. Mission for those that like to hunt Shooting Stars. I need someone to test if the effects of double ore from the reward of the Star Sprite can work in conjunction with the Varrock Armour (Any level is viable for testing, just make sure that level is capable of producing double ore). Mining Iron should yield the fastest results. It would help if someone could screenshot the messages given by the armour and effect, but word of mouth is good enough as well. Inform me if there are two messages (Meaning they both work), or if the armour fails to activate at all during the 15 minute period. [pokemama edit: they both work, I got 3 ores off 2 mithril rocks in a row. Both give messages, I don't have the text on hand tho.] [darkblade986 - I can also confirm it also. The text comes up as "You mine [ore]." / "You mine extra [ore] from the star" / "The power of the Varrock Armor..." I don't know the precise text, but it will tell you all 3 at once.]

For your case maybe, but from my experiences, juniors and seniors can be just as immature as the average 5 year old. For all dealings of idiocy, I usually reply in monotone, showing absolutely no emotion. They may find the monotone speaking to be humorous, but it gets old for them fast and they'll move on to the next poor victim that hasn't been massively overdosed with testosterone. Just today, a student I know wanted to tell a story involving porn to a girl. Sure some guys might find it humorous, but seriously, if your going to be an idiot, torture your own gender. :wall:
