That's a pretty hard question. Anyway, I'll go with something like Once Upon a Time in the West Requiem for a Dream Taxi Driver And some others.

Take That - Robbie Williams Five - That short bold guy, what's his name? He didn't get very far though. The Beatles - John Lennon/Paul Mc Cartney Pink Floyd - Roger Waters/Syd Barret and the others did some less well known solo stuff aswell A lot of other people.

Oi, those are the best, they just give you a paper/sack kind of thing that you wrap around it so nothing falls on the ground, then you pick out some big slices of meat with a small fork and you can eat the rest. Atleast, that's how I do it. :P

Look, I'm not going to downplay and name-call like you guys, its the very least I can do to have some pride around here. The 20 or so responses we got from people that don't like emo, in comparison to the 3 or 4 that support it, is representitive of everywhere. I feel that, this thread was a poll of sorts, and there are OBVIOUSLY many more naysayers than supporters. To say drawing opinions from the forum as worthless is very derogative to the intelligence of all of our fellow forum members.... I didn't name-call anybody in here. I said the rest of your post is irrelevant and is infact the biggest name-calling in the entire thread, you just don't use the words. This is indeed not representative. It's a test for like what? 40 people? That's hardly representative, no the mention the age range is 10 to 21 at max. I don't know how you run your polls? But of course it's representative because it suits your way of thinking. And the reasons I gave to say this 'poll' isn't representative has got nothing to do with the intelligence of the users. I thought you didn't like it if people placed words in your mouth? Or?

Yes, La Vita E Bella. Assuming you mean Bonjourno Principessa. And they don't show old Itallian movies since they would simpley be too boring to keep a big class occupied. :P
-
I don't see how you can count the reactions in this threat as proof. They are far from representative. Don't try to chat you out Poopingman, it won't work. The thousands of people vissiting the 'Emo concerts' say more about the music than the 20 (?) people that say the music sucks on here. The rest of your post is only filled with crap, so we don't need to go into that.

Don't really think cheaters. More likely people from the Runescape fora who just tick the vote box and go back to their own forum. And seeing as tip.it is a forum based on an MMORPG (or w/e the combination is) it isn't that weird that the Lord of the Rings is winning.

Yea, but that's England, of course. :P You need the good kebab! :D

Myfavoritesaturdaynightafterpupbeforesleepmeal. Kebab as I know it is a big chunk of meat, dumped on a stake, and they're roasting that. Every now and then they grab a special machine that looks like something to smoothen the edges of your woodwork, but they use it to 'shave' the big kebab, they catch the stuff that falls of, shove it in a delicious crusty bun. Add some chilisauce and garlic sauce and some salad to finish it. This is the ultimate food for saturdaynight after you went to the pub/club w/e. Do you like kebab? Do they have kebab in your country/city? When does your kebab tastes best? What sauces do you like on your kebab? Do you eat your kebab at the kebab shop or at home? Can you order kebab? You don't like kebab? etc. etc. Talk about the wonder called kebab here!

I usually am very friendly towards Jehova Witneses (sp?). I just say I'm not interested in a 30 minute dialogue in the cold, and I just take a flier. I almost threw a bucket of water over them one time though, they came twice in less than an hour, but I decided to behave myself.

Not that I play Runescape, but back in the day: Hanging out with friends Going out School Shopping Movies (sometimes, I wasn't really much aware of movies at that time) Other stuff.

High Noon - I wanted to get into the american western a bit more, so I figured it would be a good choice to start with HIGH NOON. It's a pretty nice and fast paced movie, not too long (only 82 minutes; a lot shorter than Leone's masterpieces). A good cast lead by the famous actor Gary Cooper, who embodies the perfect American hero, does a great job, and he is guided by one of the most beautiful woman Hollywood has ever known: Grace Kelly. Take that and wrap it up with some symbolism, a good score and a tight story and you got a great western. I'm not surprised this movie is seen as one of the best westerns ever. 8.5/10

Damn Riz, why are you so good? Educate me? :P

And when his parents die you are responsible for the kid, right? As for me being a Godfather, nope, not yet.

How did you look at music before Pink Floyd, and how do you look at it now?

Nostalghia - It's a Tarkovsky so you know it's not going to be fun, since the man didn't see cinema as a form of entertainment. It's a tough movie which requieres a lot of attention and concentration. Just like all Tarkovskies you can't just go in, you need to find the right moment and be in the right mood, otherwise you just won't make it till the end. The movie is about a poet traveling trough Itally with his Itallian female translater. He is there to research the life of a Russian composer who died in Italy. While he is in Itally he has strong feelings of nostalghia for Russia and his wife and children. In Itally he meets a man who has gone mad, he locked up his family for seven years and is known as a lunatic. In his dreams we can see his nostalghia, facination for the towns lunatic and his passion for his female translater join together as the Russian poet is going mad. Water is the central point in this movie. This is as I expected yet another beautiful Tarkovsky, it is so wonderfully shot, the zooms and still shots are amazing. And in combination with the sometimes hypnotizing sound effects you are really dragged into another world. Which is another thing that is so special about this movie. It isn't Italy as we know it form cinema, it's not shiny and nicely coloured, it's not happy and romantic. It's a harsh gray view, a lot of mist and muddy scenes. It's a slow yet beautiful movie that requieres a lot of attention and concentration from the viewer. And even if you paid a lot of attention and given yourself completely it is worth it to see it another time, so you can see more and understand this movie better. You will be tired during and after this movie. and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody else than the more 'experienced' watchers. However you should try it of course if you are curious. I rate it 8.5/10 Hopefully Le Charme discret de la bourgeoisie tonight. :)

I think he just means that he likes the sound of 50 Cent's voice. I must say he produces a pretty decent sound, too bad the rest of his preformance sucks. -
Bah, I missed the E-bay auction because I had my grandfathers birthday, I still got another seller though, but a lot more expensive. :(

Bah, couldn't watch anything this weekend. Had birthday of my friends father who became 50 yesterday, and my grandfathers birthday who became 75 today. Up for tomorrow: Andrei Tarkovsky's Nostalghia (new) Luchino Visconti's Rocco e i suoi fratelli (rewatch) And, Mr. Putter, I don't hope Howard will get an Oscar nomination since the movie was for from great. Also Zelwegger was absolute rubbish in this movie. Overall the movie was okay but it relied a lot on cheap sentiment. I agree on Paul Giamatti though, one of Hollywoods most underrated actors.

It changed your life? :P
