  1. You couldn't switch 'm off at my school, so they were always on. At home I switch them off though.
  2. Looking nice, Matt! It really sucks that I don't have a digicam, I have to borrow my mates (Wouter's) camera and shoot some pics, just like last time. The older pictures are very outdated, they only have like 1,5 of the Benno's full and the content of my glass cabinet has doubled aswell. Here are the old pictures. Universal Monser Collection L.E. en Hellboy L.E. Dances With Wolves L.E., Spiderman 2 giftpack, Dogville L.E. en Lost in Translation Digipack. Gone with the Wind CDA box, Casablanca CDA box, Matrix CDA box and Schindlers List L.E. And in the bottom there are some columbia classics l.e.'s, disney treasure tins and ultimate matrix collection with bust, Band of Brothers tin and some other stuff 1e Benno (sorry for the leg) 2e Benno IMG My profiler. Lol at the King Kong Senitype btw!
  3. just out of curiosity, what are the other two? Broken Flowers and Lord of War. :P In Broken Flowers we follow a pink letter, and in Lord of War we follow the bullet.

    Happy New Year!

    Happy belated New year!
  5. I don't think this is really G-rated...Not that I really care about the picture with a guy who just blew his brains out. But I think some younger forum users could have some more trouble handeling it. Same goes for the rest of the thread btw, but that's just my opinion of course.
  6. I'm on the VIP list for the Alpha 2.5 copy that is limited to only 20 pieces! It even has a DTS track.
  7. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - The second movie (out of the three) this year that starts with a factory scene, must be somekind of new trend. Anyway, Burton is going back to his roots, especially using the forms and figures he used in his early shorts/movies, but it's all a bit more colourful and of course the humor is still black as death. The music is, yet again, taken to another level by the wonderful Danny Elfman. The acting is very well done, especially Highmore gives an excelent preformance and is one of the few kiddie stars that doesn't make me throw up. The story is wonderful and stuffed with all kind of different emotions that aren't forced but honest for once. You don't see many movies that reflect the director's love anymore, but with this movie (and most of Burton's other movies) they really reflect the love that it is made with. Yes, I really loved this amazing tour trough the mysterious Wonka factory. And I can't imagine why somebody doesn't like this movie. 8.5/10 King Kong - The new version, obviously. Went to the cinema last night and it was quite an experience. It was really, really well done. There is taken a lot of time to give us some insight on the characters and what drives them, it is after about 1,5 hour that we get to see the big ape! And the big ape is beautiful. He is so skillfully designed, with so much eye for detail; you can almost count his hairs, and not only his outside is beautiful, once you get to know the ape you get to see his inside is good as well. But allthough you get all these great graphics and all that action the movie still feels very authentic, and no, that's not just because of the intermission and 'old' intro and credit. It's really weird, I can't describe it. All in all I had a great night out and this really is a film that you should see in cinema! 8/10
  8. I don't know much drum solo's, but I was really impressed when I saw the Mule on DVD.
  9. Without a doubt Bob Dylan.
  10. Five hours and five minutes left as I write this reply. :D
  11. You can't count yourself as a zombie fan if you haven't seen Zombiegore. 8) I think that Matt is the only one who had the privilege to experience this exquisite piece of cinematic beauty (out of the users on this forum and excluding myself of course).

    ftw?

Also 'lol' is also the rough translation of fun in dutch. You would have to ask a Dutchie to confirm, I'm not totally sure on this one. Confirmerized.
  13. And one of us seems to be celebrating it by complaining about that. and so on. >.> Anyway, I'm going out with my friends, before that we sit at a friends house and we'll be having some fun. After that we'll be vissiting familie and then we're going to the bar for some partying!
  14. There's no big deal about it. But I think it can make your evening better, I think. When you have a normal night out with your mates it's fun, but when you all had a few beers and you get a bit loser it's even more fun. And when somebody drank too much and starts to do 'funny' (not annoying) weird things that's just funny. I drink because I like the taste of a beer, to 'losen up' and it can make a great night greater, that I feel bad the next morning is something that I have take, but I don't really mind that; I'll have an asperine (that morning of course!) and everything is fixed.
  15. I watched that first one, and I must say that was a pretty nice experience. Good work!
  16. I can think of some worse things than sex between a dolphin and a human. Off topic: http://media.kladblog.com/media/200512/ ... versed.swf Apparantly my link "may" contain viruses so it's censored. :?
  17. How2PK

    ftw?

And before you start wondering and make another thread: FTL - For the Lose.
  18. You make your decision on two people replying without giving any proper information. Look up some information at bigger 'qualified' websites with people that really know what they are talking about rather than what some kid on this forum tells you.
  19. Not depressing at all for me. Finally some rest, not all family around me. I like it. Just think of the next year and you'll be all happy.
  20. I don't get it. You started playing a game, you made an army, and now you are posting your army here? Or is it a fake picture and you haven't been playing the game? Or? I don't get it.
  21. I'm sure we've all heard of them; the big toplists that are on the radio at the end of the year. You've got various per country, but you always got one that's the biggest (not amount of songs wise). Here in Holland the biggest is the "Radio 2 top 2000". What songs are in the top 25, and what personal top 10 did you submit? In Holland the top 25 is: 1. Boudewijn de Groot - Avond (1997) 2. Queen - Bohemian Rhapsodey (1975) 3. The Eagles - Hotel Californea (1977) 4. Deep Purple - Child in Time (1972) 5. Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven (1971) 6. Meat Loaf - Paradise by the Dashboard Light (1978) 7. Coldplay - Clocks (2003) 8. Animals - House of the Rising Sun (1964) 9. Alan Parson's Project - Old and Wise (1982) 10. Guns n' Roses - November Rain (1992) 11. Robbie Williams - Angels (1998) 12. Pink Floyd - Shine on you Crazy Diamond (1975) 13. Golden Earring - Radar Love (1973) 14. Beatles - Hey Jude (1968) 15. John Lennon - Imagine (1971) 16. Pink Floyd - Wish you were Here (1975) 17. U2 - One (1992) 18. Rolling Stones - Angie (1973) 19. Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms (1985) 20. Metallica - Nothing Else Matters (1992) 21. AC/DC - Whole Lotta Rosie (1978) 22. Procol Harum - A whiter shade of pale (1967) 23. Katie Melua - Nine million bicycles (2005) 24. Doors - Riders on the storm (1971) 25. Pink Floyd - Comfortably numb (1979) That's our list. It's pretty decent, maybe with exception of Katie Melua, it's a nice song and it's just hip. But I don't think it proves to be one of the better songs out there, in my opinion it's a bit too simple. I also have strong doubts about Clocks on number 7, and of course Avond by Boudewijn de Groot is one big bias. And while I am a fan of Pink Floyd, three songs of them in the top 25 is a bit too much. Of course I voted aswell, I gave a pretty standard and dull list; here it is. Beatles - Hey Jude Bob Dylan - Like a Rolling Stone Deep Purple - Child in Time Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing Eagles - Hotel California Jimi Hendrix Experience - Purple Haze John Lennon - Imagine Led Zeppelin - Stariway to Heaven Pink Floyd - Shine on you Crazy Diamond Rolling Stones - Paint it Black What are your lists?
  22. Of course, I've got one in my bedroom!

Dutch English, pretty good, I guess. I think Matt understood me most of the time. :P That's about it, my french and german suck pretty bad. I could survive with using hand and feet in both countries though.
  24. I've seen a picture of Jessica Alba making out to a dolphin. It was in some teen magazine. Pretty sweet. 8) I wonder what made you compare same sex marriages to marriages between human and animal though.
