  1. Just post a bit here and there. But don't spam, otherwise you'll never become bigger than a chicken feather.
  2. In those situation I just ignore all the big mouthing, help the guy and then go to my collegues to vent about the annoying customer. Customer is king after all. Oh, there is one occasion when I always get a bit 'rude', but that's not really rude. When a customer comes to me and says "I can't find this or that" I reply with Good day madame, how can I help you?", and then they just say, oh sorry, say good day and continue with what they wanted to know. :)
  3. It's hip to change your opinion every ten minutes. 8) That pic was old anyway. :P
  4. Really? I think Spacey suited the role just fine, since he looks more like an 'average' person who is just sick of modern society. Christopher Walken is more a character for the bad guy with 'style' in my opinion.
  5. And 99% of them don't really care about that (atleast I never heard them complain about it). But apparantly that's the Goth attitude.
  6. It's a quality movie. Often misunderstood and rated for it's "cool" factor. You could see it as a war movie. The Vietnam war is of course included and the war of the individual against society that took place in that era. Of course it's also really good because of it's hilarity.
  7. That was Hulk112 and not Danabis.
  8. Ah c'mon you can't be serious about that?
  9. You guys are so funny. I'll rent the movie sometime when it comes out on DVD, doesn't look very special to be honest. It's about four adopted brothers who's adoption mom gets killed during a shoplift, and then they decide to take revenge or something. It's got two R n' B stars in it, so it can't be too great.
  10. Duck SouP (1927 - Fred Guiol) - Long lost early silent short by the famous comedy duo Laurel and Hardy. It's quite amusing, but more of historical value of course. Goodfellas - 1990 - Martin Scorsese) - Good film by Scorsese who got a bit slopy after his two biggest pictures "Taxi Driver" and "Raging Bull". Too bad the second hour is a bit average. 7.5/10
  11. I don't have that many concerts on DVD, but here are the few I've got. Frank Zappa - Does Humor Belong in Music? It's live, can't remember where. Pink Floyd - Live in Pompej Pink FLoyd - Live Anthology (a combination of live registrations taken from their early period) Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains the Same Robbie Williams - Live @ Knebworth 2003. Maybe one more, this is what I can remember atm.
  12. People who "consume" music of course. They don't really care about what the music means, or how it is made, or why it is made. As long as they got something that everybody likes it is okay.
  13. Oh, and for hilarity with a serious tan: Frank Zappa, of course.
  14. Teh Dutch Ninja shall pwn thou with his Waterpipe!
  15. Alright, I got this from another forum but it seems to be pretty nice to do it here, to learn about other places from other countries and so. So, you name a country, or a provence, or a city. You reply with what you know from that place, and you give up another place, and so on and so on. Example: How2PK says: Middelburg says: How2PK lives there, it's the capitol of Zeeland, which is a provence of Holland. New place: TS starts. New York.
  16. Listened to their self-titled album. It's pretty good. What are they, end 80's early 90's?
  17. But your friends are probably a bit more mature and know how to handle things better than a fragile 14 year old who wants to belong somewhere. Of course the kid did it, but the 'scene' has been an influence. I think.
  18. When you turn around the lettrs of Noob Saibot you get the name of one of the guys who came up with the idea of the game or something. Tobias Boon, but I bet you already knew that.
  19. Me neither, I could put on a Documantary DVD where they let you hear various country artists and name their names to sound interesting. But I won't. :P Johny Cash is the only one I know.
  20. Casanova (2005 - Lasse Hallstr̮̦̉̉m) - Meh, it's a nice costume movie. But it stops at that. Nothing interesting, Venice looked good (could've been much better), but a totally passionless very non-Itallian atmosphere overal. There is no real love or passion in this movie, the 'funny' things it should have weren't funny. It looked good, too bad the rest lacked. 5?/10
  21. You ever seen Il Silenzio dei prosciutti (The Silence of the Hams), Indy?
  22. Sweet, never knew that. You learn something new every day. :)
  23. Das Boot (1985 - Wolgang Petersen) - The uncut version. Seen it before, but still love it. Shows the 'boring' and 'suspense' sides of war in a continuously interesting movie. A must see. NÃÆÃâÃâóz w wodzie (1962 - Roman Polanski) - This was the second time I saw Polanski's first feature movie. This being his first movie it is also one of his best. The story is fairly simple, but there is so much to think about when you are watching this movie and also after watching the movie. The movie touches different subjects such as trust, lust class-war and much more. It's filmed PERFECTLY, and when you think of it that everything is filmed on water it's even better. A big, fat 8 out of 10.
  24. It's Silence of the Lambs (1991 I think), Hannibal and after that Red Dragon. I can see why he is comparing Silence of the Lambs with Se7en in a "which is better" thingy, since they're easily the better, if not the two best thrillers of the 90's where the serial-killer thriller movie really got it's popularity. Anyway, if you're asking me I'm going for Silence of the Lambs. Though Se7en is a quality movie as well.
