Looks like the graphics department got bored?
tintmangbpack replied to gonzlar's topic in General Discussion
I like it, adds more design and creativity to an other wise boring looking dragon, I wonder what if they will do the same thing to baby reds and blacks. Then we would have skunk dragons. :) -
That clip is hilarious, I actually laughed out loud when I saw that.

I think it was awesome that George Mason did so well this year, that is what makes this tournament so fun. I am guarenteed second in both my bracket at work and my family one. Sadly the only time I have left is UCLA and I have them losing to Duke.

Or to make runescape even more fun lets have a level 100 tok-KQ-Dagking-KBD-Chaos monster that drops every rare item, barrows peice, dragon armor/weapon, and basically everything that has a value of 100k or more. This is not a good idea, just stick to the level 3 they have good enough rewards as it is.

Carpentry skill (plz stop if people are annoyed)
tintmangbpack replied to gamesindians's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
or you could do the hand in the sand quest and get 84 buckets of sand a day. I think the only way carpentry would work is that with POH's, But I personally don't think carpentry should be a whole new skill. Maybe a subset of crafting. I just don't think you will be able to have enough new things to justify having carpentry be a whole new skill. Unless you could make, houses, furniture, ships, stalls for selling. But I just don't see where carpentry could go. It would be kind of like firemaking, its there and is helpful but it really doesn't need to be its own skill, because it really isn't that complex. -

The reason and the solution of the money cap...
tintmangbpack replied to SkULLEDPK3R's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
How about this for an idea, you could exchange money for special notes at the bank that are worth lets say 50M, that way you could use these notes and when you needed the cash you would just withdraw a note and talk to the banker the would then exchange your note for your money, and to get a note you would take your 50M and talk to the banker. I think this would be a better idea then making silver and gold coins. -
A slight mod to slayer skill enchanted gem
tintmangbpack replied to rmcarthur's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
The gem is useful, but it is easy to get to all the slayer masters already. Buthorpe, you just use a games necklace. Edgeville dungeon, glory ammy. Canafis, ectophial. Zanaris, use your glory to draynor then grab a dramen staff and go to Zanaris. Shilo Village either use your glory to karamja, and take a cart ride. Tele to ardougne and go on the boat and then get a cart ride. Use ring of dueling go to Al kharid use a gnome glider got to Karamja and then just walk. I would like to be able to tele straight to them but it already is fairly simple to get there. But if you could tele the option should only be there after you have just finished your last assignment. -
Yeah the slow thing is very similar to Morrowind, I remember when I first started playing and I kept thinking that I was just walking not running, it takes time but after you get some levels in athletics (or whatever it is called in Oblivion) I am sure that the walking speed will increase. Usually it is fairly easy to level athletics, either do a lot of swimming and then refill fatigue, or blow a bunch of money towards improving it. Also you might want to make your speed one of your highest attributes and make sure athletics is a major skill.

If you plan on getting this for other games not just oblivion this isn't a bad idea, but If you are planning on spending that much. You might as well buy a Xbox 360, (unless you already bought the game). Because it will be around the same price, and from what I have heard the game is more oriented towards the console then a PC. Of course it would be harder to obtain the mods that made Morrowind so much better.

How to use the ogre boat shortcut.
tintmangbpack replied to madman6510's topic in General Discussion
ouch sorry about that luck, I brought one and I am glad I didn't burn it. Anyways the shortcut is almost useless, it takes too much time and work to make it useful. What I would have like to see was an underwater passage, from Port Khazard to Rimmington. I think that might be useful, of course you would need your scuba gear. But I think that this underwater idea could be devolped into some pretty cool updates. -
yeah I like the idea, the carrots could also be put in the stew, which would make it heal 1 or 2 more hitpoints.

I like it it would make it more fun for those who don't put such a high emphasis on combat, to have other ways of showing what they like to do.

Can Tip.it PLEASE Get a New Homeworld?(stupid idea, i guess)
tintmangbpack replied to Trojann2's topic in General Discussion
Thats not true, I live on world 9. Unless I'm world switching for KQ or buying out stores, I'm always on World 9. So is Trojann. Speak not of what you don't know. Yeah I saw leesters on there just the other day. What I think this boils down to is that no matter what world is picked it will be inconvienent (sp?) for certain players. Personally I never have problems logging on because I play in non-peak hours most of the times, so I never have to deal with a full world. I understand what Trojann is saying and I really feel sorry for you, but I just think there really isn't a way to make this better. Although I would support making 2 worlds, for those who can't have a lag free experience on 9. I know this would make it harder to have a community, but I hardly ever see any HYT, bear in mind I do play in off-times, but over the last few days the only tip.iters I have seen are Stevester and Leesters. -
So how is everyone doing after the first weekend. I am in pretty good shape, I have only lost 5 teams, and only 2 of those were in my elite 8. Really didn't see Kansas and Pitt losing to Bradley, or UNC and Michigan St. losing to George Mason. Those teams messed up my brackets, but it is upsets like those that really make the tournament fun.

Has anyone bought and played the game yet? I am excited to see what it is like, and if it would be better on PC or on the 360
-
This is one of the reasons not to have this. But I think this would be nice, that way you could be more unique and clans could have their own special designs.

more like the cricket chirped and no one cared.

ST patricks Day, celebrated by the Irish, like St Georges day for the English and St Davids day for the Welsh. Bunno what scotland is. Anyways, I don't think they will do anything, it is too small a holiday, celebrated by too few people for them to see it as relevant. It isn't that small, I mean most of the US celebrates it, just because we don't get work/school off for it doesn't mean it is a small holiday. I got off school today, but only because it's a teacher's planning day. Coincidence, huh? All of the schools in my area got off today for the same reason, its kind of funny.

I ate my pet fish (supposed to be humor)
tintmangbpack replied to meesa's topic in General Discussion
Yeah that is pretty funny, I remember when splitbark first came out and some guys were showing it off in f2p, some of the comments were hilarious. I wonder what the f2p comments were when a member first took a fixed device onto a f2p world. -

That BC game scared the crap out of me, if they would of lost it would have really messed over my bracket. Also the Nevada loss hurt me, but I am glad I picked Alabama and Wisconsin Milwaukee.
-
Yeah the one I have on ESPN, cbs.sportsline, and my work all vary a lot. I have Duke and Uconn in the Final Four, but then i have either villanova or BC or OSU on one side, and then UCLA or Pitt on the other. All in all I am completely befuddled by who I should pick, I think have too many upsets, and I never know which 5 seed will go down to a 12 seed. I would like to say Utah State beating Washington, but that is just because I like to cheer for the hometown team.

For college basketball, there is a 64 team single elimination tournament, that decides who is the championship team. You fill them out and how ever gets the highest score wins. What you do is pick the team you think is going to win then after you have made all your picks to the final you save your bracket and hope you picked the right teams. There are four sides to the bracket, each bracket has teams ranked 1-16 one being highest rank and 16 being the lowest rank.
