voting age in the USA come and share your opinon!!!!!!!!!!!!
tintmangbpack replied to davi2188's topic in Off-Topic
I don't know where you are getting these numbers, but they aren't true. Yes good point. But they are represented, most of those youth are still claimed by either a parent or guardian, who represents them. The only reason 18 year olds can vote is because they can be required to die for their country, so the same should be true for 16-17 year olds. -

Don't go telling people do not be immoral, and then turn around and say it is all right if they think it is nesscesary. Guess what, there have been cartoons that have made fun of Jesus, but guess what the Christians aren't burning all the muslim buildings. Step of your Stepstool, and realize that people are going way overboard. Yes Discriminating against one group is wrong, but it also works both ways. I think it is great that Islamic has such high laws and stuff. But guess what not all people are Islamic so while those laws are in place, they don't exactly affect people who aren't muslim. You need to look at this more neutally, both sides have wronged the other side, but this is blowing up way out of control. -

I don't know what kind of classes your high school offered on politics, but I can guarentee you that it wasn't nearly enough information to keep you acutely aware of what is going on. 16-17 kids hardly contribute anything to taxes overall, just think on average one of those kids makes at most 10k a year, that is barely any taxes overall. Those taxes wouldn't even come close to pay for how much their schooling cost. Ummm.... Obviously adults vote, because who else would be voting if they didn't. What do you mean a "perception of lack of voting" I am not sure what you are trying to portray by that statement. Surveys can be very misleading, if you have ever taken a class where you need to gather information, eg Statistics. You would realize that data results can be skewed easily. For example, if you went into a poly-sci class and asked a bunch of youth Political questions they would score pretty well, then you could compare that to a group of adults that you found on the street that wouldn't have the same knowledge base. You see unless the survey is covering every individual the results don't reflect a true nature of the people. -

No, Because there is no reason for them to vote, the majority aren't contributing to society, and most of the laws and regulations don't affect them. Also how many would actually vote, and not very many are mature enough to make a good decision based on the issues that are involved. Oh wait most of Americans aren't mature enough to make a decision based on the issues and philosophy of the persons involved. -
I think you have this all mixed up f2p isn't the whole game, nor is p2p an expansion off of it. It is better explained like this p2p is the whole game and f2p is a demo version that lets you test if you want to get the whole game. That is why it is so strange that people expect that the demo, aka f2p, should get updates. When you find a game you are interested in getting, you might download a demo to see what it is like, now would you whine and complain to that company to make the demo better or just go buy the game.

Oops, I forgot that the swastika was backwards from the Native American one.

I like mine crispy with Peanut butter and honey, Its better with a scone but it is good on toast as well. Except after eating it you have to drink like a quart of milk to sate the thirst afterwords.

I am really looking forward to the hockey, downhill skiing. But this year won't be as fun seeing how last year it was in salt lake city, which is only 40 miles away. I saw some sweet events, curling, bobsledding, aerials, and the US vs. Russia Hockey game.
-
Yeah that would have been very controversial. Some of the Native Americans had swastikas that meant peace and unity.

its not that uncommon, I am 51 slayer, and I got 11 Bronze dragons. I know they are a stronger monster, but I have also gotten stuff like 35 ghouls. Its just random.
-
Well I am much more excited for this years then last, hopefully they come to my state, I am looking forward to that.

That is very interesting, maybe there is some dissension within administration. Maybe he said some things that people didn't want. If he wasn't being literal about that , then was he being literal about making Americans more competitive, or finding more efficient energy? Makes you wonder what he was really saying.

Protect Other From...... (prayer suggestion)
tintmangbpack replied to evildestruction's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I don't like this idea, Imagine what it would do to monsters that use dual attacks in single zones. You could go there with a friend get it so the monster is only attacking you and then while you pray one protect prayer he prays another. There would have to be some limitations for this to work. -
It depends on what warrant you obtain, like you said about there are extenuating circumstances where the law can be stretched (broken), but this can also be used when creating a warrant, there are ways to have someones lines bugged with a warrant, without telling them how it was done. I am not sure on procedure but it can be done. Also since a terrorist knows about the patriot act, would they really be making increminating phone calls on their home or personal phone, I think not. I would imagine they would use a public phone. Yes it would be much more helpful if James Nond was real, or on a more extreme sense, Triple XXX, the Vin Diesel version not the Ice Cube version.
-
The definition of a terrorist under the patriot act is "anyone who endanger's human life". That seems fine at first, but think about it in lawyer speak- where it will be applied. It I decide to go jaywalk, I am then considered a terrorist under the patriot acts definition of a terrorist. Why? Because when I jaywalk, I am technically endangering human life. Sure, if im not a terrorist, I have nothing to worry about. But according to the patriot act, I may just be considered a terrorist. Well, according to the Patriot Act, you only have to fear about being tapped if you go bragging about jaywalking to a guy overseas who has connections with Al Queda. The Act does not monitor domestic communications, only communications made from the US to known terrorists abroad. I personally think that this violates a lot of privacy laws. What I really dislike about the phone tapping is that there are perfectly legal ways to do this. They keep claiming that the phones wouldn't be tapped unless there was sufficient evidence in order to do so. What bothers me is that if you had enough evidence assume that it was needed to tap someone's line, is that you could obtain a court order warrant that gives you the legality to do so. That is why it bothers me, not so much that they are tapping lines, but that they are circumventing the current laws.

yeah a better description of your mind might be "perverted"

You think by dying your hair very dark blue you will be different? Walk around a School for a bit and then you will realize a ton of people have that hair color. Dark blue? I never see that color...certainly its no one's natural hair color. Are you serious back at my old high school at least 25 kids had that color, they all thought it made them different.

I don't think prematurely popped is the right word there, maybe in sex ed.... but I shouldn't want my bindings popping loose at any time other than when I'm at a full stop :P ummmm... wow that was hilarious  My point was, had his bindings not released (there is that a better word) early, he might have been able to land that. Obviously you haven't been skiing that much if you have never had a binding release when you are not standing still. A lot of the time you have to adjust your bindings depending on what you want to do. He obviuosly thought that his current setting would work, and apparently it did not.

Exactly, Basically Jagex tied them selves up, they released the Dragon Hatchet think that everyone will want one because it looks cool. They failed to realize some peopl actually don't want to pay for something that is the same as rune, but way more expensive. Honestly it is good against the tree spirit when it attacks but beyond that useless. And now when they implement, if ever, the dragon pick. It will be the same no better then rune, but way more expensive. And if they make it so it mines better like everyone hopes, it will set off all the woodcutters who will want the Dragon hatchet to be better. In my opinion they should make the Dragon hatchet better and chopping so that it and the pick won't be rubbish. -
TET February Calendar is up! Quoi Maintenant!?

Wow this month looks sweet, hopefully i can go to a few of these. -
Its all buggy now that they changed it. If you will notice that most of stat sigs are freaking out as well. Its a case of implementing something before it was truly tested to amke sure there are no bugs.
-
The double flip was the best part. Its a shame his bindings prematurely popped. But overall it was boring most were just doing switch 1080's with different grabs. It was basically boring. Because orginally it was supposed to be the run, but because of all the fresh snow, they changed it to big air which no one was prepared for so it made it boring.

I agree with Bubsa, instead of pointless low level quest that we get once a week. I would prefer a very well thought out quest that we get once a month.
