Thanks, I really do appreciate the answers. I have dozens either thought out or half written. I guell I'll randomly pick one dress it up and submit it unless there is any particular subject you would be interested in me taking a stab at.

Sorry I misspoke myself. I wanted to know "how" to get an article published. Not how to submit one. I.E. What does an article need, what are you guys looking for that kind of stuff. I submitted one years ago and don't remember getting any feedback on if it would ever get published. And yea I think my bias opinions would be more convincing than that. Heck I think i could write two articles one defending bots and one demonizing them and have both be more convincing. I just got back into RS after about 2.5 year boycott so I'm sure few will recognize me.

Nice to hear you got the point of my replies. Too many people flame without any backup and make fools out of their selves. To Racheya The main problem with your article isn't that it's bias. Which it is. The problem is that you are not giving any info or reasoning to back up your point or dis prove the other point. The one thing that people like less than something they don't agree with is something they don't agree with stated as fact with no backup or evidence at all. Btw How does one get an article posted for tip.it times? I have been using this site since 04-06 but never saw how get one posted. I would like to see how well one of my articles would hold up to the flames around here.

In addition if I seem overly critical. I'm sorry but I just do not think it was put together very well. To be constructive and not flaming I will list the problems. 1 A very specific audience - few people even understood what you were talking about. 2 Obvious facts are obvious - saying that corporations are not efficient in RS is like saying killing goblins is not efficient. 3 Too detailed with out enough information - Goes hand in hand with problem 1 you gave no history no explanations of corporations. Yet you went into details naming specific people/corporations that no one has heard of. 4 Too hard to read - You drifted from subject to subject. There were no transitions and it was put together more like a train of thought than an article.

To the first article: I disagree 100% it doesn't matter how much people play RS or how long they train. No single minigame/piece of content should force us to do the same thing for 40+ hours. Training skills is one thing. Minigames are completely different. I am not going to stay in one place and throw money in a hole for 40 hrs just to get a spell that should be unlocked via quests. To the second article: WTF are you talking about? Most of what was written is gibberish. It sounds like you were writing it to a specific person. It has no appeal to anyone else. I will try to reply to some of the points I think you made. Businesses are and always have been pointless pyramid schemes in RS. A single person can do everything a business could do. And that was b4 the GE. It has made almost all trading for profit via p2p inefficient. The only reason anyone runs or works for a business is they either like to role-play or have never been to the GE.

Challenge is I'm 110 combat. Rules: - Must be 95-112 - Prostylite or initate armor only - No ranged / mage - No smite or protection prayers - No teleing (will allow a tab incase there is a pjer) -.- - KO weapon allowed - Protect item is ok - We will fight in world 65 Ardone where there are not many other people to prevent pj - Must risk 75k Alright then, Lets fight! This is my first dm here so I hope that the people here will fight with some honor. We will not be risking that much the armor should only be around 25-30k and the rest will be up to you to risk. I have to say please no teleing... Ps my rs name is CnConrad also pm me there...

WoW... you must not have many friends if none of your friends disliked the update... Perhaps you are scared of other player... thats fine you were never forced into the wild... But to say that 1% of the population didn't like the update is not only stupid its sad... Try looking at the poll on this site over 20% are quitting now and 33% are unsure if they should quit or not. One final note, If by some chance some of your so called *Cough* Friends *Cough* want to ever kill a Boss monster with you I hope you will enjoy not splitting the drop...

Today my nephew my girlfriend and myself all quit. I honestly don't think that Jagex really cares who quits. However, I feel that Jagex has gone down a dark path. This is one that I refuse to follow. They have taken many of the great aspects of this game and removed them or distorted them to such a scale that I can no longer call this Runescape. They have removed many of the Group features of the game. No longer can I kill Boss monsters with a team and share the loot. No longer can I casually go pking. No longer can I go Pk ing with my nephew. No longer can I stake. No longer can I give Gifts to friends or borrow items. No longer can I do favors with out using the ridiculous assist system... No longer can I make money by trading. No longer can I buy items for less than the G.E. Price if im willing to wait. No longer can I buy items for More than the G.E. Price if im in a hurry. I am stuck being level 106 I must fight people up to level 126 if I want to Pk. I am stuck with maple logs that no one will buy because the G.E. Price is too high. I am stuck with Arrows that no one will buy because the G.E. Price is to high. I am stuck with air battle staves that no one will buy because the G.E. Price is to high. I am stuck with yew longs no one will buy because the G.E. Price is to high. I am stuck with Mage longs that no one will buy because the G.E. Price is to high. Most Importantly: No longer can I enjoy this game because 80% of free choice has been removed. I am stuck with a level 106 account with 75M that I have poured 4 years into now will no longer use...

No No No #-o Don't you understand you will be paying alot in tax if you sell 5-10M worth of bulk items. :wall: And if your Bulk is less than 5-10m. Its not really bulk.

You really must not know much about merchanting or anything that deals with alot of money in the game. If 2M people use this system each day averaging 50K per trade that would be 10B taken out of the game each day (yes thats a B) The runescape economy simply can not take this... no economy could. All a tax over 1% would do is prevent all high levels from selling anying expensive or in bulk on it. The result would be a market full of low level trash... -.- Does anyone what that?
