  1. How about instead of everyone starts off with the report limit, it can be used as a form of punishment to those (who are on their second warning) that misuse it. This would get rid of the not reporting those who deserve to be reported, and would act as a leash on those who go a little report happy. I do agree about not wiping the [wagon] of every little kid who complains that the bad man over there sad poop, and it offended them. The maturity of the community is going to go down the drain (Assuming it isn't already) if people, especially those younger of age, are effectively put in a protective bubble and aren't made to stand on their own feet.
  2. Oooooh.. My bad. Didn't notice the crate learned how to cloak.. And as one of the previous posters mentioned, why are you fletching on the trawler? If you want th fletch there are many other places you can fletch, fletching there takes away some of the catch that isn't "deserved" from your actions.
  3. May just be me being stupid, but what exatly is the bug? I've looked at the pictures for about 2 minutes, can't see much of a difference :wall:
  4. Oooh.. That's a new (New? Hah..) idea: a tree you can only cut so much of per day. An ingame reason could be the magic/effect of the tree causes you to be inefficient at cutting it until the tree once again "renews" and "forgets" your style of cutting. I'm not sure about the being able to just craft it into a battle staff with crafting.. Perhaps it requires a magic level too, to be able to supress/control the power within the trees logs and fletching to "know your way around the wood"? As such, this join the ranks of things such as the salamanders that require multiple skills to use/create. This would also stop it from being too readily available, ontop of the limited amount of logs a day. You could have the woodcutting level to cut it, but you need higher mage/fletch/craft to actually do something with it. This would also be the first (I think) production item like this that uses a combat skill, and uses it like this. One thing this log could be used for is a new type of crossbow. We know dwarves don't like dealing with magic trees, so perhaps this log could have some form of effect that doesn't repel any dwarf, thus leading to a crossbow that has a special attack bar. That's all I have for now, I'll come back later and ramble on.
  5. I agree with making revs worth killing, and giving them appropriate drops is also a factor. Perhaps the revenants could be changed, so that in multi-combat areas they move in groups, and are specific to one corner of the combat triangle, or a mix of 2 corners, like how it used to be. In other words, a rehaul of the revenants. Each revenant in single combat would use 1-2 corners of the combat triangle. Each revenant in multi combat would use 1 corner of the triangle, and move in a group of 2+ of revenants, as it was (usually) before BH and revenants were introduced. Also, adding time as a factor should change the amount of drops of consumables. For instance, if you kill them within a minute or two, their load will be almost full. If it takes several minutes, the pots/food you receive would be lower, heck, for the pots they may just drop empty vials.
  6. The most wanted thing for construction is lower plank prices, perhaps that could be in this guild? (It would use both your woodcutting and construction levels to determine how much it would be reduced, perhaps to a minimum of half the current price.) If you remember one of the previous halloween events, we had to collect 10 of the roots from under an evil ent, perhaps that could be part of the quest/form of a minigame exclusive to this guild?
  7. I can understand about the not wanting more mahogany/teak trees in there, however, I feel there should be some other incentive to go there other than just those trees, the most notable being a new type of tree/a new form of woodcutting. Remember, woodcutting isn't just limited to cutting trees, look at the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup (I think it's called that, correct me if I'm wrong) minigame, where you use a machete to cut down the vines. Try to obliterate the box with the ideas you come up with, at worst it'll just get picked apart and you have to try again.
  8. It's Priest in Peril you've got to complete before you can cross the salve, Nature Spirit to be started to a point is required to access the swamp, you don't actually need to finish it unless you want to fight ghasts. Looks good, but I agree with KaoriKnight, in that with the amount of trees, it will become packed, and that it would be a good idea to have new trees/woodcutting items instead of just trees. We have trees everywhere, make this something special.
  9. I kind of understand where you're coming from, on the odd occasion if someone was asking for something I had and I was in a good mood/had a duplicate I wouldn't mind giving it to them for free.
  10. Well remember the Cute Creatures for The Eyes Of Glouphrie quest that were put in over a week before the quest actually came out? I think they are just throwing us a bone, also allows them to see how moving some buildings a bit to make room for it will effect the actual players, something that can't be done on their test servers. I think it's just them throwing us a bone.
  11. It's Tai Bwo Wannai in the middle of the Karamja continent. Look north of Shilo Village and you should see it. It's home to the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup Minigame if that helps.
  12. Are you saying someone got enough burnt fish to make the bankers throughout the world shout "80m drop party!"? Or do you mean they simply flooded the chest with burnt fish? Big difference.
  13. ... I wasn't there :( Still, looked like alot of fun. And I'm going to say it again, 'cause I barely believe it: They maxed out the amount of dots on radar! Still can't believe it? Read the first post until you do. See you didn't have enough time to sell all the topaz.. Would have been alot more fun if they had all been sold and more machetes bought.. Can imagine it now: "150m+ drop party!"
  14. New date set for the Spoils event, hope you come and have some fun :D If it's anything like the last one, expect mayhem, confusion, and a truckload of fun. Also note we are running a competition which costs you nothing more than a signup at our forums, and a prize of 1 million gp to the person in first place.
  15. Good luck with the whole.. Pyromaniac thing.. Keep all tinderboxes far away from me when I'm near Edgeville. Seeing as you prodded me with a teasing stick, might as well post. Good luck with your goals, current and future, and I will PM spam you if you give up. (PM spam ftw ^^) Anyway, continue attempting to kill people outside the wilderness with those fires of yours.. You may suceed one day
