most powerful fleet? you mean the sajuuk fleet, the uhh, precursors. -
oh god, there are HUNDREDS of mods theres a unit pack which is considered "standard" if you want to play online, and i'll just find you the link for Spring. http://www.planetannihilation.com/tauec/tauip.htm this is a huuge unit pack, but you may need Core Contingency for it-i'll leave that to your imagination, but you only need one file from it,ask around on GameSpy for a TA session and someone will send you it and this is the Spring project i say a mod...its more a remake...but you need TA to play it. http://spring.clan-sy.com/ but they are well in excess of 10K extra units for TA,shame the engine can only support 500-ish unique ones for that matter, anyone who wants to increase the ingame unit cap,its really rather simple go to your TA directory, and look for "TOTALA.ini" read it,its self explanatory (hm,seem to have hijacked this thread a little...)

alas, they did-i think its 14 fighter squadrons,3 destroyers (or is it 5 :-k ),2 battle cruisers,20 corvettes squadrons.cant remember frigates, and its 50 utility ships (resourcers, probes etc).you can take them up,but not remove them entirely. one thing i loved about the original was building a handful of salvage corvs and just stealing the enemies capital ships as they sent them in :XD:.i would end up with a line stretching off the draw distance of large ships and frigates in different livery...looked...imposing if you want a game on any of the HW games,im always up for a scrap  edit the picture at the top of this thread? look at the numbers on the left, those are the unit caps.horrible things :wall: -
teletab to fally-forget the real world,it sucks

i warn you,it is completely different. no more individual fighters, they come in painfully small squadrons. and you are really limited, for those of us used to playing HW without a unit cap -
Amen! ever heard of Spring for TA? it takes TA and makes it 3D,lets you take direct control of your units too-Kragoth in first person control =win \
-
oooh, the pretty lights... hm,might dig out TA now :-k fancy a game? :-k
-
Nukes were easy to intercept in TA too. simple answer-stock up each silo with 5-10 nukes, let them fly at the same time, yes, some will get intercepted, but you will almost certainly drain their anti-nuke reserves. course, once one gets though, then you probably in the situation of having launched multiple nukes at the same target, thus wasting some

you dont sound like a very nice person,to be honest. :| although, you did make a good point:it is this generations insulting catchphrase. but why the physical attack? is it required? had they done anything to personally attack or insult you? no? then why bother them? :-s verbal attacks can be ignored (I'm an aspie, trust me,you learn to ignore it ) but physical attacks are going too far. ( i assume by "drop the shoulder", you mean shunting? :-k )

*slaps Led*

SupCom is a remake of Total Annihilation. if your computer cannae handle SupCom,you can always play TA.its the same game, but less....shiny.(but hey,a very easy .ini edit gives a unit cap of 5k,so,thats not so bad ) i know a place you can...shall we say..obtain..TA (can i say that here?).i think its considered Abandonware now,so :-s i *think* its free to distribute,,(has been out fo print for ohh...6,7 years now?) heh,it'll be 10 years old in a couple of months :
-
ah.a MooCow contraption....alas,moo quit look for her on facepunch, did some amazing stuff. if you want to try Gmod, get the demo (the prior version,GMod9) but be aware that it doesn't even resemble GMod 10 in terms of menus and stability. anyway, back on topic: Hidden:source Gutter Runners (if you play Warhammer, think Skaven vs Empire) Gmod (obviously) Smod

er.i have a box infront of me with around 110 games in.but i also have 10-20 games on Steam,and quite a bit of Abandonware. estimate? 150-60 PC games,tops.(inc.Steam/Abandonware) 20-30 PS/PS2 10-15 GB/GBA 5 NDS 7 C64 20-25 Amiga 3 PSP 5 Xbox/Xbox360. 4 Wii (not inc.sports) :-k i think thats about it... (no,i dont get out much : ) edit:forgot about the Wii

:-k hmm...worst game ive played... :-k well,i have played some *right* stinkers, but i think the prize goes to.... Star Trek:Hidden Evil :-X a case in point: guy with a phaser, say "pick a hand",get it right,he'll give you the phaser. no.you have to click his chin and knock him out . pure guesswork. other than that...*looks down* Star Wars:Episode 1:The Phantom Menace. my god.that was.just plain...awful. worst sequel ever though? goes to Total Annihilation 2:Kingdoms. eurgh.i wont speak of it.(oh,cavedog, why did you hurt me so...) twas so bad,it sent the company bust
