thank you for that flavor it means a lot. just a few more updates for you all: -We now have our own forums for you to sign up your team, ask questions and chat with the staff team the address is: http://spoils.ybug.co.uk/forum/ so come join us all if you wish were lonely :D -We also have a new domain http://www.rune-quests.com to see details on spoils. - And leading on from that 2nd point we are planning to expand (yay), into a few new quests. While we have a couple of idea of our own, please feel free to put some forward in our suggestions board at http://spoils.ybug.co.uk/forum/ -And last but not least in my cunning and crafty ways i would like to say that we will be holding forum competitions to draw you into our grasp (mwahahaha). These will (probably) be held once a month. The first competition is the good old favorite spot the difference and will be released at the same time as the next spoils date (again note the craftyness). there will be 3 prizes on offer: 1st prize: 1 million gp!!!! 2nd prize: a spined ranger set 3rd prize: a mystic lava staff Sadly due to the POH nature of these events the competition is for members only.

This was the idea of the trail to see what could go wrong and fix it. The eating thing was unfortunately true, and was one of the issues raised in the aftermath, as a result we have taken more care to ensure our staff know their roles and the rules for their roles. A small update; Team 6 capes are no longer aloud in the house, except for staff. This is because we are now using the team 6 capes to identify between staff. Hopefully this will make life a little easier for us and you guys. Also a new room has been installed in the upstairs of the house. The second floor is to be used as a place to find a team. This means that people can hopefully turn up by themselves and find a team to work with. As to the whole lunar/hybrid issue, i am currently in talks with the staff as to whether hybriding will be aloud. However bare in mind that the lunar set is pretty powerful in its own right.

Your inventories are checked before u enter the dungeon, illegal items are not aloud to be taken in. also if u were to sneak one in and we saw u drinking (via the emote) u would immediately be disqualified.

I would guess the event will be held weekly/fortnightly/monthly, so there will still be plenty of oppertunities to play. Also you have raised a big point there: We "the monsters" cannot eat, this is your main advantage, we may have to kill your hp value 8 or 9 times dependant on your food: so a team of 6 becomes a team of 54 hp wise. but you only have to kill 3 ddsers 3 mages 3 rangers 6 b bros _________ 15! Our advantage is we outclass you equipment wise. As the trial has shown it WILL be hard, this is not an event u can just turn up and win, it requires some thinking. The staff have thought long and hard about how it could be won and it definatly is possible. *HINT* There are loopholes in the item rules, these have been left in intentially, to promote team play and also some THINKING :D . Incidentally i think it may we wise to hold an open hour at newbiei 's house to show people round the dungeon. If you think this game is a good idea the best thing you can do is SPREAD THE WORD, we know eventually this game should be fairly big we just need you guys to help us out a bit, tell your friends, tell the forums, tell the noob who is following you around, hell tell the world =D

Perhaps a new Tip It guide is needed, translations of common/similar items so people can differentiate between say, willow logs and magic logs. Its all very well not trading with them but you are just leaving the trap set for the next person, instead if we knew the translations and could see the scammers they would be reported far sooner and hopefully banned.

Yes lego we have talked and fighter torsos have less defensive bonus than rune and are therefore aloud. Incidentally dont forget this saturday is just the trial run to see how things go, if all is well then there will be plenty more oppertunites to experience SPOILS OF WAR! :D :D :D

I collect berets, i have 52 of em. i also collect strange fruits and have 104 of em. my ambition in rs is to finally fill my costume room (with at least 5 capes of achievment.

ok so for the fourth time while reading this thread i've changed my opinion on the matter. We KNOW that yes jagex has cut some of the more fun things out of runescape, the bunny rabbit "bug" being a perfect example, however we also know that jagex is HUGELY loyal to it's game. The very fact that andrew has stuck by his game from the start to the present despite being a multi-millionaire says that he loves runescape just as much as, if not more than the lot of us put together. When you look at most games/inventions the designer stands by it just long enough for it to make them rich before selling it on to a larger company which soon wipes all value of the game by focusing on profits. Hell the very fact that he has taken the time to post here to defend his game speaks volumes about him. From this we can draw a few logical conclusions here: 1. Whatever jagex may have prohibited, in their eyes they were doing the best for the GAME not the individual. I draw here from the Discworld series of books, When vetinari talks of how true freedom is not always the best thing: "to take the bottle from an alcoholics hand would be seen as an act of charity yet that act in itself removes the freedom of choice from the alcoholic". Sometimes we cant always see whats best for us. 2.As in everything in life, things are ruled by the minority; when laws are made they have the minorities in mind; the theives, the killers, the people who have no wish in life except to beat the system by cheating other. The bunny rabbit thing is again a prime example had it not been for a minority of players abusing the system it would never of had to have been fixed in the first place. 3.jagex have overreacted to somethings by banning the entire possability of it happening instead of merely the possiblity of cheats using it....however there is a flipside to that, in the time it would have taken to fix the loopholes which cheats use, jagex will have been working on updates to the game. I finish with my personal favorite of emergant gamelay : the use of chinchompas in house/pc to lvl range. i dont think it could have been expected to use them in training, yet a clever gamer held a drop party in the cage(in his house) and used that as a way to gain vast amounts of xp in a short time by bombareding them with chompas, the same could probably be done with anchients and a d 2h therefore it is a superb way of training without affecting the balence of the game. If you think my little ramblings are silly or have a big hole in them feel free to point it out...

my tactic for beggers is lie to them; tell them to turn on accept aid then teleother them where "they can get lots of money" i find lumby very fitting. THE place for noobs of all lvls. however if u happen to have lunars on u then tele them to waterbirth island, boy does it annoy them.

er yes it did, it released a censored version of google to china due to stockholder pressure. 236 million sites which stated that chinas communist party might not be all that good suddenly went missing. similarly i believe there is a version coming out for north korea soon and odds are a few million pages will go missing from that too. an interesting point to note is that it has bought youtube recently, now youtube with fantastic integrity refused to release a censored version of its political videos to china, as a result it is currently banned there, it will be interesting to see whether google submit AGAIN to shareholder pressure and start censoring videos for china. my one and only prayer is that they never EVER touch wikipedia.
