Difficult one this............. For me if the games were designed correctly in the first place much of this couldn t happen. I am not going to say it is right to "fix" games as that isn t in the spirit of the game really, but it can be useful otherwise there is a possibility that some wouldn t be played at all. There are some real good and valid points on both sides of the arguement and the way forward would be for Jaggex to take into account these key points and perhaps integrate them into the gameplay of mini games and in terms of the rewards recieved by those taking part (if any). With Cwars if both sides are fixing the games then it is obvious that the reward for taking part in the game is not enough and they need to up the number of tickets for completing a game regardless of result and make more ticket rewards for what you do in the game again not linked to the result then just have a 2:1 on the result, I am sure most people could live with that as they be getting a far greater return in tickets for taking part and completing a game of cwars and the winners still get something for winning to, just the gulf won t be so big and there are more ways of getting tickets than merely by winning. With SC it can be nice to just sit there collecting clay but for me it does take the edge off the game as in a proper game you know someone or a group may come along and spoil your day so you take precautions and keep vigilant and if needs be you unleash your full arsenal of cb skills upon them :) However if Jaggex did not want people to fix this game then put a third and maybe a fourth team in every game of NPCs that have comparable combat and skills that will play the game in the way intended no more fixed SC games. They have tweaked the great orb game but apparently just by attracting an orb is active game play so people are already apparently getting round that supposed tweak to the game play. Here again they could do something along the lines of making it more rewarding merely for taking part - sounds a bit left wing and non competitive lol but the winners would still recieve slightly more. Resistance is futile Jaggex are the Borg they will hide your posts and assimilate your good ideas. And remember it is only a game and as long as you are having loads of fun like I do with me TKOE clan buds does it really matter who gets to 99 first we all on the same journey some will arrive before the rest of you - too much rush spoils the journey :)

Don t think much will change similar operations will probably spring up in other countries and in China they are still allowed to trade virtual items for cash so it will probably just mean a change in the way they go about their business rather than an end to a whole black market economy.

I think sometimes people make these articles to get those reading them believing in the predictions in order to make what they are predicting will happen more of a reality, thereby creating a self fulfilling prophesy. Tell the masses that something will shoot up in price for these reasons and many people will start panic buying and as demand begins to outstrip supply some very nice profits roll in for those who had stock-piled and gone round spreading the aforementioned predictions in the first place. After awhile it all calms down again till the next major update that changes the way we play comes along :D

With the death of pk especially clan trip pk we have arranged some more wars to compensate, done some fight pits and added on a lot more gods trips and DKs, no BH though due to the fact that when that came out we had a very wide range of members from 85 to 126 (Summoning not counted) and to make it worse we had quite a few reccomended members who didn t meet our entry requirements at the time but were our hot prospects so to speak. We have never done an official BH trip as yet with the main clan due to the problems mentioned and the lack of appeal I think, although we have had small groups go up either as an unofficial event or as part of the program put on by our comparitively small but growing US Events team. For me personally I don t think anything can match having that wide open area with the varied land marks it contained, the terminology invented by clans to quickly refer to certain locations, and the uncertainty of what was there. Would it be a small band of pkers in the wrong place at the wrong time? Would it be a clan that was of similar strength and therefore a good battle would ensue with skill and teamwork of the clans determining the outcome? Would it be a huge clan and there were a few especially on certain worlds we probably can all still remember them where the good old RLF strategy worked well :) More important than loot and all that I have said previously was the mad things that used to occur on PK trips, the fun, the seemingly pointless wanderings or the employment of a cunning plan passed down by the guru known as Baldrick :D Alternate events undertaken by TKOE now include Saturday's Merry Temple Build followed often by Drunken Monks Fishing. If you enjoy the odd beverage or two I think you will get the picture :thumbsup:

When it stops making them money be here for a few years yet whether it in its current format who knows

F2P world 117 clan home world P2P world 120 now gone, then it was 124 now it the clan resides on W159 P2P.

Either 99 pray without spending a fortune but have to admit did cost a lot getting the last 6 levels or the Quest Cape as it continually needs you to overcome the challenge of the latest quest release.

Certainly seems to have become more laggy, especially when you have a load of familiars and fighting going on in one relatively small space, but it has even started to become laggy all over :wall:

Not bothered would have preferred some in game updates and developments as I do not play the game for the graphics.

For me the key to a good game is playability does it have the content that will see you enjoy doing what all games are meant for - to be played. Does it have enough depth and variety to keep you hooked and wanting to play more, the graphics for me just have to be passable does a boat look like a boat and so on I am not that bothered beyond that. Given the platform that RS is based on I think the graphic update is looking very good from the few screenshots I have seen but the update itself does not excite me would rather have seen some more new things in game.

I have done lots of clue scrolls mainly level 2 and 3 now and probably the majority level 3 and you should see the rewards I have had, I reckon the wombles have had better stuff than me and they go round collecting the rubbish other folks leave behind. But still I carry on with blind optimism that one day the clue will be a 6 number lottery winning one :thumbsup: Plus they are a nice way to take a break from training.

I would like to see introduced as a new slayer monster drop say level 92 slayer new monster to fight above Dark Beast and no I don t have 92 slayer yet :o

Hunter was totally uninspiring when it came out and for me is still only trained if required for a quest. So I would say hunter except for the chins maybe that will tempt me into training it At least with firemaking you can look forward to burning better shades on the pyre logs :)

Must say I am very impressed with the speed of your recovery given the misfortune that befell the old forums and the new tip.it style forum skin is an unexpected bonus very fast work there on that one. You are very lucky to have such a talented team to complement your own great skills and like a phoneix from the ashes tip.it has arisen looking better than before.
