Usuaully on a wallpaper you dont want to put a grid over the how thing usually just certain parts of it. BTW... What type of grid do you want? Like scan lines? Or a straight grid?

Of course when I was offering to make websites for 200k each no one wanted one... now two ppl are offering a mill for one and I got a website of my own to be working on now. :cry:

Any suggestions on how I should improve the banner? Theres not a whole lot I can do to it without it losing the dark style I want. I have been trying to add some little details into it such as grids. I think I may have found a pretty good effect... Altho more suggestions would be nice.

Yea im going to fix that now, but when I actually put the site on the web the buttons will be animated. I may animate some other stuff to, but Im not usually one who does much animation.

Yeah I know what you mean. Im actually pretty bad at making banners for some reason. Im gonna set up a contest right now for some one to make the banner look better for 250k. :wink: EDIT- Changed my mind I better just do it myself.

The strange thing Is I actually don`t like that a whole lot lol... After looking at it so long it just doesn`t look right to me. I guess thats what happens when someone who likes dark art makes something bright and plastic looking. Thanks for the comments guys Im gonna redo it a whole lot.

Well this isn`t totally done. I know some of the links arent aligned properly, but I will take care of that later. Im really not sure if this looks good or not so I really need to know before I start using it. Im featuring my favorite peice "Disrupted Vision" into the layout. I also need to redo the main content box, because the effect I was going for didn`t turn out right at the bottom. Thanks, please do comment this is important to me. I have sliced my site and I want to re do the slices now in a better manner. How can I remove the current slices so that I can redo them? This is probably something simple, I just have never done it before and I searched around and couldn`t find anything about it.

I don`t see how you can say making a decent pixel sig is harder then making a good grunge or abstract sig. Most of the time yes it is, but thats not always the case. Are you kidding?! Making a grunge sig takes maybe 5 minutes of searching for a good tutorial, another 5 making the sig, and then another 5 putting text into it. Whereas, a pixel sig, takes 15 minutes to think of an idea, 6 hours to draw it, and 5 minutes to put text in. Grunge/abstract sigs look kinda cool but they're so overly used, i'd rather be unique with pixel sigs. They also depict true artistic skill and reflect the individual as a runescape character, not a photoshoppist. Anyways, with a pixel sig, your sure to leave a lasting impression on ppl :wink: As for the lines: All i can say is that im too lazy to fix all my lines :wink: :lol: :D haha jk. I try to make them really good the first time around, and i like the thick black lines. They make it look mmore cartoony. Not all grunge sigs are made that way. I also don`t understand why so many people base a piece on the time it takes to make it? I always thought the point of it was about which looked better?... HMM... EDIT- What about photography? People taking just a few minutes to take a picture, that some times is considered better then a peice some one spends weeks on.

Very nice sigs man. The mage one is the best pixel sig I have seen on these boards.

Hey why don`t you use your drawings in your sigs anymore? They are very good and something original that no other sig maker is currently offering.

nearly as annoying as people who post how to make pixel sigs. Pixel sigs need more skill and time thats for sure. They are a new rage, but they wont last to long. I hope not, cause sometimes me just to lazy to put so much effort into a sig. \ Yeah all those posts do get annoying I don`t understand why anyone can`t ever search around anymore. I really hope they don`t last long because I don`t think they look as attractive as a good abstract or grunge sig. Of course they do take alot of work to do them, but I think the pixel artists here should start making something else besides just sigs with them. Try creating something unique. Seeing 100s of sigs based off rs just bores me. I guess its a nice escape from seeing tons and tons of abstract sigs though.

Yes they are getting annoying, nearly as annoying as people compaining about them. :roll:

I just completed my entry for my wallpaper battle against deximus and royal flush so Im wondering if anyone wants to do grunge sig battle? To make it more interesting we make a 100k bet? Photoshop only. Grunge brushes or custom work only no copy and pasting. If your interested in this post here or send me a pm.

Ratings really mean nothing because they are not based on anything really.. Altho I would rate this a 4/10. The drawing itself is very good, the coloring could be alot better. The bg is also a bit empty. Try filling it up more. The text could also be improved.

Far too much, but i have no need for money in runescape anymore.. its kind of getting boring :cry: Well you should of bought one from me :lol: I beat him in our sig battle.
