Rofl... Why must you people think that a program is only intended to be used one way? Okay the developers probably intended it for certain things, but what makes it so bad to use it in a different way? Personally I love using things in a way they are not mean to be used. For instance when I skateboard at skateparks with fences, they are there to keep people in or out and to skate only whats in the park and not out of the park. I hate seeing bounderies such as this so when I skate I try to use the fences in a way they are not meant to be used. I lauch over them or acid drop or whatever else I can think off of them. Why limit yourself?

Well It obvious I have a very different opinion then most. I think the most important thing is the overall outcome of whatever your working on. It seems most people only judge it on how long it took or how difficult it was to make. Filter piles themselves are still art in my opinion and theres nothing wrong with using them as long as the overall effect is pleaseant to the eye. Please explain how I have no idea of what I am talking about? Just because some one creates something on accident doesn't mean its not art. It seems no one is open minded anymore. :roll: :x

When do you ever see two abstracts that like 100% the same?.... NEVER, therefore it is unique. Entangle I really don't find any of your works artistic. A majority of people here treat things in an artistic manner which your obviously not. Also try to put some thought into your posts. It is a lot easier to tear peoples artwork down than it is to give them respectful help and advice, so why bother saying the things any idiot can. Almost forgot- The renders are pretty good the only one I don't like is the shrooms, it just doesn't look right to me. Other than that great job.

I am thinking of buying a tablet, but I can't draw very well normally so I am not sure if it will be just a waste of money. Nearly everyone of my friends is taking an art and design course at the local vocational school so I am sure they could use it if I couldn't. Do you think its worth buying or not? How much of a difference is there between it and drawing on normal paper?

Yep... Just realized that is how I fixed my problem before, all I gotta do is make it into a few smaller slices. Thanks for sparking my memory. :D If there is any other way of doing it besides slicing it into multiple parts I would appreciate it if some one would tell me. Wyrm- I thought there might be some way to fix this within photoshop itself or I wouldnt have asked.

Don't use Dreamweaver. Seriously, you'll be so much better off if you learn how to do everything without a program like Dreamweaver or Frontpage. I already know how to do everything without a program. Using it is a lot less time consuming. Since I have acess to such an expensive and professional program, why not use it? Most everyone I know who has a profession as a web designer does use dreamweaver. Thanks for your comments though. 8) Oh no problem I was thinking you didn't know how to do it without dreamweaver. After designing and slicing websites in ps then transfering them to another program such as dreamweaver, how do you get the text to be at the top of the content box? Every time I do it the text I typed ends up in the middle of the box. I know I have fixed this some how in the past, but I really can't remember how I did it. If you know anything about this please help. :oops: If anyone else knows how, go ahead and asnswer it please.

Thanks for the comments everyone. darkrick- Yeah I noticed that spot was empty and orginally intended on putting a graphic of some sort in that space. I am not sure if I am still going to do so, because I think it looks fine how it is. vRhymez- I actually like using the bevels. It adds depth to the site, gives the feel as if your looking at more than just some flat boxes. On your layout: It does indeed look good, but its not my style. That is a very popular and common style of website, I wanted mine to be different. I look at sites as more of an art perspective rather than functionality. Kiwi_lovvah- Thanks for your rating. I am sorry to say that other people can't use this one. Altho I will eventually making a lot of free templates.

I agree with you. It is very annoying when you post asking for real comments on something and your topic ends up on the next page after a half an hour, and all the posts in front of it are ridiculous pixel related posts. I say from now on we stop wasting time flaming the stupid posts, and spend more time posting on topics that actually do matter.

Yeah my computer isn't working so I have not been on in a long time. I made this on my parents computer and got no response from anywhere else I posted it so I am asking here. What do you think? EDIT- I thought I should mention my reason for making this. I have been doing graphic design for around a year. I know what im talking about. I have been around these forums (old ones) for over 2 years. You seem to me to be a bit big headed. Actually it does look 3d, it would be hard to tell the difference between this and other abstracts done in 3d programs. Just because it is not a real life object, doesnt mean it is not 3d. This is a photomanip. I looked up the word manipulate in the dictionary and the definition I got was something like: To move or arrange. So yes this would be a photomanip. I would also like to know how this isn't unique? I have never seen anything like it before (that was created in the same manner). Since apprantely you claim you have then please show me where else you have seen this done. You say it is messy, well that was intentional and it wouldn't be abstract if it wasn't a mess. I love to hear good and positive comments, as long as they are well thought out.. Obviously your comments were not. Please know what your talking about before attacking some ones art.

Looks alright... Is a good idea, but It needs alot of work. Make the dragons more visable and it would look much better.

Its pretty good, altho I have never really used terragen so I wouldn't know. The text really needs work.
