  1. Hi... I was changing around rooms, so that I could add the costume room. All was fine until I went to rebuild the room with boxing ring and I somehow managed to mess up the access to the room on it's left. Is there anyway to rectify this situation or do I have to pay to have the room rebuilt _again_? Also, would someone plz tell me. "what I should be looking for when I build a room, so I don't repeat this mistake?" I don't know why, but I find it very confusing as to the actual orientation of the room and it's openings. Any and all help appreciated. Ta! BTW - Is it just me or is this a design "flaw" on RS's part. I mean how hard would it be to have a warning to check the "Floor" plan before preceding. (Things like this have really put me off construction.) :wall:
  2. I'll give it a shot... Thanks!
  3. Hi.. Unfortunately, I just couldn't get past the first hand holds without falling, so I gave up until I upped my agility a couple of lvl's. When I went back and tried to cross (yes I was using a pot) and I still fell. But that got me thinking... Does anyone know if I have to _Redo_ the light beams from the beginning or will it eventually work from where I left off? I really really want to finish up this stupid thing, but I think it's gonna take several trips. So this info will be helpful. Hope this makes sense. TIA!
  4. Sacks can be bought at farm by draynor village on the way to Port Sarmin in farmingi shop.
  5. Just incase this should ever happen to moi can someone tell me what an agreement number is? Ta and gl with your 'fight!'
  6. I mention "Hill Giants" because most players don't bother picking up the arrow drops, so you can gather theirs, as well as, your own from the kills. Plus there is the added bonus of picking up limp wurts and big bones that both Hill giants and players leave behind. Keep the limps for making pots or selling to other players and biury the bones for prayer experience. Hilly's drop both iron and steel arrows, so be sure to keep one set in your arrow (space) sp upi can free up a space in the bag. BTW - Are you a member? I would always buy up any iron tips that get sold to store and make my own. Also, try to buy arrows from general store when someone _unloads_ a bunch of em. That way you can get em for one or two gps each. Well Ta and good luck!
  7. For quick iron collecting use the ring of deuling. Jump from mine near "deuling arena" to "Castle wars' use the bank chest and jump back to mine area. I see by your lvl you can make rings of deuling, so there is no real expense there. When you get to lvl 49 magic (or use a pot) you can make a bunch of rings of forging. Then you can smith iron bars without loosing any to the furnance. Coal is good to mine for either selling or keep for later when you can make steel bars or better. Unfortuanately, as some of the other posters mention (coal) can't compare to iron when it comes to fast experience. You should also check out any quest that offer mining experience. It's a quick way to gain exp without having to pick-pick-pick at the stupid rocks... :wall: Ta
  8. A fast way to get feathers is to kill chickens using range. It's a quick way to kill because you don't have to "chase" the chickens and depending on your range lvl you can get some good exp out of it. (Just be sure to use cheap arrows.) The farm in lumby or the near Fallador are both good places. If you're a member the area by the Range Guild is also great. Ta.
  9. If you want to make money from something without breaking the bank on "restore" pots. I would go with the (under rated) limp wurt roots. Limps can sell for way more then big bones, Some members buying in f2p worlds will pay "big" for em especially for 500 or more. ( Besides being quicker to collect then Zammy wine you can get good prayer exp burying the big bones, an it's just a whole lot more fun... IMHO.) Anyway, someone might know a faster way, but I go to Edgeville Dungeon and kill "Hill Giants," while picking up the limps other players drop. Then I use an Amy of Glory to jump back to the bank in Edgeville. (This really speeds up the process.) Well good hunting. Ta.
  10. Famring herbs isn't exactly fun, but every bit helps with lvl'ing up with herblore. Depending on your money situation I would definitely buy an, "amulet of nature" especially if you plan to grow higher lvl herbs. (That way you won't be "stuck" watching 'em grow.) Of course, killing stuff for herbs is soooo much more fun. So definitely work on chaos druids. Depending on your agility the best group is under Yanille. Also, if you have lvl 67 agility or can use a pot to reach it, you can climb the rubble pile and get to the "twisted" guy who drops the sinster key. (You can only fight him using strike spells on him.) With three keys it will fill your bag full of high lvl herbs. Good hunting!
  11. What are Herb packs? Maybe I know 'em under another name. Also, what do you mean by "they aren't worth it?" TIA
  12. Hi everybody, Now that I can plant a spirit tree I'm wondering where I can get a seed from. Do you get it from cutting trees or can I possible get one from Miscellina or another player? Yikes!.... Can't find any reference to how the _seed_ is acquired. So can someone enlighten me? And how hard are they too get? TIA, S&C
  13. Just came back on, an I am working on my aproval rating... This isn't like tai bwo where it shows your approval rating up in the corner. I've run over and talked to the advisor twice to find out lvl, but there has to be an easier way. Does it flash somewhere when you hit 100% approval? TIA, S&C
  14. Check out rune tips skill guide. You're cooking and fishing lvl are 63, so if you're trying to make money as well as lvl up.... stick with lobby's. They sell a whole lot faster then trout or salmon or even tuna. Like the other post mentioned you can trade cooked for raw, but (imo) you'd have a better chance doing that in a f2p world. Checking your stats I didn't see anything listed for farming. The reason I mention it is for brewing. This is a pretty passive way to get some cooking exp., but every bit helps. Still for over all effort you gotta go with lobbies. Everything else involves too many steps. And one last thing, try to cook on a range and not open fires. This might be a rumor, but I hear food tends to burn a bit less using the range/stove. Good cooking... Ciao
  15. I don't think the "fairy rings" take you to the runecrafting area. It's not multi combat, so it's a good place to fight to get your pouches back, but I don't believe there is any access to the rune altars. Let me know if I'm wrong... :-k
  16. You're right, I hadn't thought of having 'em both available to use. Got to say though I think tying up that much money x's 2 seems kinda expensive .... especially if you consider the return rate... I'm looking forward too seeing if anyone comes up with a good "demon" to fight who offers a good/great return ratio.
  17. I'm not sure if there is anyway not to just 'blow' money using a 'crystal' bow. To me it's more of a status symbol and yea some will argue it has it's advantages, but the cost is prohibitive, so I only use mine to range high lvl targets. . What I will say in it's favor is not only is it cool looking it's great not having to retrieve arrows. Which comes in handy when fighting say, "Fire giants." I do have one question: Why do you have two c bows? Maybe you should consider selling the fully charge one and just keeping one. (Unless there's some advantage to having two. I personally wouldn't want to lock up a bank space for just a seed.) Ta
  18. As you well know if you die you keep your three (3) most valuable items, but you loose everything when you are Skulled. I could probably manage the dying part it's loosing the abyss pouches didn't make me so crazy.... so I guess it all depends on your different lvl's, but after dying horrible I now alternate my runs. So... here's my stragem for better or worse: Frist, I make a run wearing a ring of deuling, (not so expensive to replace like a Glory) my dragonskins with my elemental2 shield and addy axe, an off I go. (If I spot any robed players lingering about I turn on protection from magic and home in on the mage.) Then once I'm into the abyss and get my runes I teleport to Castle Wars. From there I will either telly to my house which has a prayer altar and do some construction. Going to and fro to cw's and my house until the skull disappears or I will telly to Draynor village and run laws. (While I'm there I recharge my prayer, kill unicorns and pick up plank respawns or if I'm low on molten I'll pick up seaweed.) Then I telly to Edgeville and do it all over again... Either way, I multi task and so far so good. If that sounds like to much work then wear a "glory" and telly back to Edgville you can go kill "Hill giants" for limps while you wait for the skull to fade away, but you won't have protection from melee or magic if you don't recharge. (You could use the Abby if your prayer lvl is high enough.) Yea.. I know I'm a big scaried cat, but hey I was trumatized. :ohnoes: and "Dying" blows! Well ta and good luck!
  19. You can check with rune tips skill guide or: you can make pastry dough and then add: raw bear, raw rabbit and raw chomy to make wild pie. Don't know if it can be sold without "baking" it first. The market price says 7k to 10k, but you'll have to find a motivated buyer at that price. Ta.
  20. A lot of "fruit" or crops are used to pay npc's too look after your other crops. I always pay to have my tree's looked after and baskets of fruit is usually what they request. Check out the farming skills at r-tips to see what crops take what payment. Like the other post mentions you can make food or pots or I might add 'brewing' from the various crops. That's what makes rs soooo cool everything is related. Just remember bank space is limited, so plan accordingly. Not all fruit or crops are worth keeping. Ciao
  21. Barron mentioned something, an I'm still a bit confused (so what's new): You said to collect after 3 days which I get, but then you mentioned raising another million. Can't I just add to the 775k to keep it at a million? What happens to the rest of the 775k? Anyway, I understand the system a bit better now so, *hugs* and thanks for the imput... Someone mentioned getting a seed for every 100 maples. Ummm that wasn't my experience. Maybe I need "Triage." (Sorry that was bad.) :-w Maybe seeds aren't soooo expensive too buy afterall.
  22. Can someone plz tell me how some players get so many darn "tree" seeds? Gee, I'm a lvl 75 wc and I've only gotten a handful of seeds. After paying a fortune for seeds the last time I asked the person how they got so many and they replied, "Stole em." Unfortunately, they got busy and didn't seem inclined to elaborate, so I don't know whether they mean herb seeds or the actual "Tree" seeds. So... does anyone have a clue whether it's doable to steal 'tree' seeds? My-oh-so-dwindling-stash-of-cash, will be eternally grateful. Ciao! O BTW - I've tried to do the whole Miscellenia set up, but I've never figured out how to make em pay up. To be honest thinking about it gives me a headache, but if someone could give a "clue" how to collect I'd appreciate it mucho. \
  23. Has anyone noticed the change in the mine area in the Lumby swamps? All I could find was tin and copper. Did they move the Mith, Addy and coal or is it just gone? Darn... I liked that spot.
  24. It's been like forever since I ventured in the "Trollwiess Mountains", so when I was told to deliver "gnome" food there... Well, I struck a blank. :wall: Can someone plz tell me the easiest way to make this trek? TIA
