  1. Blamish oil is available from the fishing store's npc in Port Sarim. Not sure if any of the other fishing stores offer it.
  2. The Giant Gnome Tortoise on the Khazard Battlefield drop, "Pink" robes and boots.
  3. The only two I can recommend are for members: The iron mine by the "deuling arenas" is great if you use can make your own "ring of deulings." You just jump back and forth between there and castle wars bank. Ore adds up quickly. The other is the Goblin mines under Lumby castle. You need to have done the, "Lost Tribe" for access to mine and "Receipe for Diaster" to access bank chest in cellar of castle (if you actually want to benefit from this site.) Gotta say, if you're doing "power mining" then "Lost tribe" is the only one you need. You can sell your iron ore to Miztag instead of taking the time to drop each piece. The payoff isn't much, but it does add up. BTW - The other plus with the Goblin mines is actually killing the miners. They can drop tons of ore saving you time as well. Ciao!

  5. Put runes on door... When the doors open I was pushed back then the mayor walked out. He started talking about me being duped. A slug appeared, not sure who hit first. Iit died quickly then the screen changed and my bag showed empty and the only things I can click on are friends - not friend icon and tune up(?) icon and that's it. Then I'm being attacked by slug (again.) I can't run or move in fact. The mayor is still there, but when I click on him nothing happens. The only time there is interaction is when I right click attack on the slug then the mayor pops up and says, "Look what you've done" or something like that. But before I can click next on the message the slug hits me and the message drops off the screen.. There is a full red bar over the slug's head and though it's attacking I don't automatically fight back. (It reminds me of what happens when you turn off "auto retaliate.") When I do click on attack I usually get hit with damage of 5 or 6 which isn't much, but it adds up. It's awfully weird, but I'm not gonna loose armor or food just standing there.... Do you think it's a glitch?
  6. You're right it did take like 5 seconds to kill the first slug... Then I'm in a another screen with no access to my food or prayer and I'm fighting but not getting anywhere. When the door first opened and the cut scene came up I attacked the first slug... Did I kill the mother and now I'm in some endless loop with the son? I'm at a loss. When I logged on my hp was down to 41 out of 80, so it can definitely do some damage... and yes I did have orb with me. :ohnoes:
  7. Not sure what you mean by get prayer... Could you explain... Thanks.
  8. Hey... Can someone explain what (if anything) I'm doing wrong with the end of Slug Menance quest. I've tried it twice and something isn't right. When I got into the final room I fought the slug and killed it... I thought cool and wow that was easy, but then it jumped to another screen and have no food/prayer access and now I'm fighting a slug again except this one shows a complete red bar over it. When I do hit it (which is sporatic) I'm only hitting ones. No biggie, but now I'm taking damage and it just won't die. The only thing I seemed to have control over was clicking on the slug its self. Which gave me the choice to attack it, or examine it. The only thing clicking on attack would do was to have the mayor pop up and says, "Do you know what you've done?" But before I can click on "next" I get hit by slug again. WTH - Of course it wouldn't let me log off or anything else. This went on for some time and when it started to be a danger to me I so totally freaked that I rebooted. I know chicken (brawk)! When I logged back on it said under my quest icon, "I was in the middle of an epic fight with the prince." So, I re-entered the chamber the same thing happened. When I my hp's got too low I bailed (again!) Of course the rs quest tips woudn't or couldn't help, so again I kicked myself off. . So... any help or tips would definitely improve my sanity.... TIA :wall: !
  9. Here's a few things I would suggest... Don't keep any seeds that are easy to get. Such as potato cabbage etc. It's a waste of precious bank space. (You can always pick up these seeds from theives who drop em in draynor village.) As for regular crop seeds the only two I keep are tomatos and corn seeds. (For some reason "sweetcorn" seeds are hard to get and thus are in high demand.) Whatever your farming lvl I would only _keep_ the highest vegatables, bush seeds, hop seeds you can plant. Don't even bother with flower's unless you can plant limp wurt. Bushes offer pretty good exp., just remember to have a seed with you every time you go to check on it's health. That way you can replant em immediately for quickest exp. If you plan to do brewing (which gives decent cooking skills) or you're gonna plant a lot of corn. I wouldn't bother with hops except for barley or jute and what ever top lvl hops you can plant . Barley is cooked on a range to make barley malt which is added to brewing or it can be used to pay the farmer to watch your jute crop. Then in turn your jute crop can be used to pay to have your sweetcorn watched. Check your farming guide for more information. Herb seeds are good if you plan to lvl up in herblore or if you want to sale the leaf. Hold onto leaf until you have 50 or more then sale em off. (Skip martinell for some reason they just don't sell very well.) Your higher herb seeds like ranar 15k+ and snapdragon 20k can make you quick cash so again don't hold em until you can use em. The only way to lvl up quick(ly) in farming is planting tree seeds. They are definitely the way to go for "BIG" experience. (Just be sure to pay the farmers too look after em an then you will have no worries.) Depending on your money situation you can check the price's and sell off all really high lvl seeds. Even trees... if your not within a ten to twenty range lvl. You can always replace em later either by wood cutting or purchasing em from other players. Again it's all about the space, so either sell em in the bank or list em in forums if you have the time. Just make sure to know your prices! Hope some of this helped. If you need any help evaluating what too keep add me and I'll be happy to help. Ta!
  10. First off what do you mean you can't mine limestone. It's only a lvl one mining skill, so why can't you mine it? Am I missing something? For arguement sake... Let's say you're right: How about asking a friend to mine some for you. If you work as a team you could get quite a few. There's a limestone quarry past the sawmill on the way to Canifis. Go with 'em, get a load and telly back to varrok then make another run. (If you can't telly then try to buy some energy pot's so you can make the run quicker. Just try to be as lite as possible ie no armor or extra weight.) Either way you could get a few hundred limestone fairly quick. I'd also mine mud, so you can build and rebuild the fountain in your garden. Good "cheap" experience and when you lvl up you can use both limestone and mud for even better experience. One other thing it's repeative, but if you don't want to spend gobs of money on construction pick up free planks over in Entrana or up by the dwarf agility course. They are the only wood you need nails for, but you can build and rebuild a chair over and over again. Like I said repeative, but oh so ecomomical and hey it might not be fun or pretty, but I've lvl'd just redoing my fountain and a few chairs. :-w Good luck!
  11. Can anyone tell me if there is a use for the "gnome amulet." I think I recieved it from the King after a quest, but all it's every done is take up valuable bank space. :wall: Any info would be awesome...
  12. Ugthanki Kebab If you're prepared this is easy. Go into the Al-Kharid desert through Shantay Pass or use your lunar staff there is a fairy ring right at the Kelaphites (spelling) entrance . Be sure to wear desert robes otherwise Urthankis (they look like camels) hit hard. Take the raw meat. For the next part you will need flour, water, tomatos and onions. Also a bowl and knife. Use flour and water to make pitta bread... bake it. You will also need to cook the meat. (What I do is hop over to Grand tree house via the gnome glider in Al Kharid. Just remember there is no water available at Grand Tree, so plan to bring with you or bake the pitta bread in lumby.) Now, take your bowl and knife "click" on bowl, then meat. To save yourself from accidentally eating the next two ingredients "click" on bowl then the tomato and the onion. This _only_ works if the meat is in the bowl first. (You can buy tomatos and onions and flour at gnome store.) Then all you have to do is "click" bowl then pitta bread. And there you have it, "scrummy goodness!" \ BTW - If you've done the "murder mystery" quest you can get unlimited flour in the "Sinclair" mansion kitchen. (Just take empty pots with you.)
  13. Hi... Not too wish bad luck on you, but I would suggest taking a friend who can "telegrab" your stuff just incase the worse happens. Good luck either way!
  14. Hi... While doing a quest I got squished like a bug  and lost my "prayer wrench." (I think that was it's name.) Anyway, can someone plz tell me how I go about getting another one? Ta, S&C22
  15. "Lost Tribe" will get you to the mine under Lumby castle.... If you're power mining I think this is the best of the best, an as a bonus instead of dropping your ore one at a time you can sell it to "Mizog." (Spelling?) It's way faster then dropping the ore and you actually make a small amount of coinage each time. Think "Win-WIn" situation. If you're doing mining to make iron bars then check out the, "Receipe for Diaster" quest. This will give you real fast access to a bank chest in the Lumby castle basement. I'm officially spoiled using this method. Also, I'd like to mention one other quest that gives you access to iron, coal and other high lvl ores, "The Grand Tree." I usually high alc mith or addy there, but you can collect iron, silver, gold or even clay and there's a bank two floors up. Just take the time to check out the quest requirments and work towards finishin 'em. Gotta admit I'm always shocked when pfp's ignore or dismiss quest. This imo is a "huge" mistake. Oh and here's a few other random thoughts: If you haven't done quest or are a lower lvl miner you and you can make rings of deuling use 'em too go back and forth from Scorpion pit in Al Kharid to castle wars.. I admit I'm lazy, so I always go for the quickest ways to the bank.. I highly recommend doing the "Lost Tribe" quest. (It will save all those rings mentioned above.) Whether you're power mining or making bars I always start off killing a low lvl miner because they can drop over 8 iron ore at a time. (This mine does require you carry a lantern and tinderbox in your bag.) If you like to multi task as I do, carry a pickaxe with you when you know you'll be passing or near a mine. Hey, every little bit helps. Well, I hope this helps a bit. Good Luck!
  16. Hi... Can anyone tell me if you can use more then one "Amulet of Nature" at a time? Also do they stack or need a space of there own in the bank? Ta!
  17. Can anyone tell me if you can use more then one "Amulet of Nature" at a time? Looked for info on it, but no luck. :? So, any help will be appreciate the help! Ta
  18. First and foremost I _hate_ getting all the same stuff over and over again. I can't tell you how many frog tokens and zombie-ware I've dropped. We are all dealing with limited bank space. Especially now with the semi new construction skill. Then add in all the stuff from quest good luck finding space for all the "Junk" from the randoms. To be honest, I'd feel a lot less put upon if they would give us more reward alternatives or maybe even give us a choice between the usually prize and maybe a small amount of exp. in a chosen skill. (Gee they could even make the darn things tradeable.) All I'm saying is anything, an I mean anything, would be better then the same mindless/useless stuff over and over. I mean come on... How many commando hats does a girl need. :?
  19. It was great too hear we would have access to the various ales in our homes and it is a little disappointing we can't take em with us, but I've learned to work around it.. Once I got to the lvl to make Greenman's ale I've stuck with it. (I could brew it myself, but I'd rather not tie up a bank space with it.) So now I fill up my bag with herbs, vials and secondary items. I leave a space for the beer glass. (This is probably more expensive way to do it. Fortunatley, I can make my own laws.) Anyway, once I teleport to my house, I grab a beer glass, pour myself a tall one and mix like crazy. True I don't get as many done as using one in the bank, but it's not that much of a difference. Then again... It would still be nice to be able to leave with a beer or two.
  20. Here are some stats to consider when deciding which way to go for non members The easiest way to lvl up is mining silver and making Tiara which give you 52.5 exp and you get bonus of mining gives 40 exp per ore Holy symbols give you like 50 exp and you can string em with the wool balls you spun 2.5 exp and then have 'em blessed (if you can) to make a bit more money on 'em. And if you ever become a member I'd suggesting making unpowered orbs, these like tiara's give 52.5 exp. They can also be used in the future to make battlestaves... Well, what ever you decide... Good luck and Good Crafting :D
  21. I've never tried to get anything from my work there. Who do I see to get 'reward?'
  22. "Empty" box I was left with at the end of quest? With all the rumors of carpentry do you see any use for this thing or can I toss it. I would like to add a few pointers for your quest gude: If you forget where you are in fixing the scaffold you can right click on it and it will tell you what's next. I was kinda limited on space in my bag, so I had to pick up the engine, then mine a coal, then click on the coal and then the engine. (You can use all 5 pieces this way.) The other thing that slowed me down was where to "set" the engine. Click on it and place it to the right of the lift and too the left of the scaffold. It lights itself right up.... One of those RS things. I got stuck trying to set the engine down and all the message would say was, "Check the manual. " Except the manual didn't help!!! Also, when you take your rope and swing over water. There is a fire pit close by. If you miss it you'll have to run back. Been there, done that. They are easy to miss, so watch for 'em. (It wouldn't be a quest if I didn't have to do something twice.) And finally, someone mentioned, as a word of warning, to watch out for the little _juvenile_ snakes. I guess they have a nasty bite, so if you can avoid hitting the little buggers. Good luck! Ciao
  23. Can someone tell me about the fight with the final snake and what armor and kind of weapon you used. I want to go in prepared. :D
  24. Just range these guys... No food is used and that's always a good thing. When you get too the bloodvields they are in two areas. Stick with the first group otherwise a aberrant spector might decide to attack you from the far room and can I say they are _not_ nice. So, here's what I would suggest: Go pass the first bloodvieds at which point you are forced to make a left turn. Stand right there along the L-shaped wall and arch from there. I usually let the vieds start to pass the wall then fire. They won't be able to reach you as the wall stops 'em. I'd alslo suggest taking fire staff and some nats this way you can stay for the whole assignment. Well, good hunting!
