  1. You need 100 sticks ever time.... Also, why do you want to bank the logs? Just take a tinderbox and up both your firemaking and wc lvl. (Other then being good exp. I don't think there is a use for the logs at this time, so just _fire_ away.) Ciao
  2. I don't believe magic is recommend as the Demon is protected from it. Unfortunately, your range lvl isn't high enought to fight it that way (I think 50 or better is recommended) so, you'll have to melee it. Your prayer lvl is good,, so either use a Hally while standing behind an obstacle or use your d long and kite. Be sure to use protection from magic for both and have plenty of good food with you.) As far as the armor, full rune is fine. Personally, I found the hardest thing about the quest was running through the dungeon to get too Zooknook, but I have a high range lvl so the demon was a breeze. (It wouldn't hurt too wear a ring of life... just in case!) Good Hunting! BTW- I would suggest if you've started, 'receipe for diaster' that _before_ you make the second trip too Zooknook that you take two extra sets of bones and 2 more monkey talismans along with you. Too get exra talisman just drop the one you have and ask to borrow another from the monkey child. Just be sure to promise to return it otherwise he will cry and you have to ask all over again. Watch out for the Auntie! (You'll need a total of three talisman) Now, while you're still running around the city: Kill a gorilla in the temple for it's bones. Use protection from melee and recharge prayer at altar. Once you have those, recharge prayer again and run to store using protection from missles. Go up ladder and kill one of the archery monkeys and take the bones. (The worse that can happen while running around city is that you get thrown back in jail. Just make sure you have plenty of anti pot's with you.) Now, teleport to Karamja (using glory) kill a monkey there and take it's corpse or bones. Teleport to AL kharid. Return to the island with food, 3 sets of bones and 3 talismans, prayer and anti posion pots and teleport. Run to Zooknook and ask about the talisman. Use the bones on him and ask him to make you more talismans. *Doing all this now will save you the extra trips too him to get your monkey greegree's. Ciao :D
  3. First just try carrying the axe parts with you onto Entrana before doing the quest. (Don't fix the axe till you're ready for the quest) If you can travel without being turned away then you won't have a problem. (Otherwise just kill a zombie for an axe once you enter the dungeon.) From personal experience, I know you can take arrows anytime, an if I want to range unicorns or lessers I'll just take a bowstring, a log and a knife and make a bow once I'm there. For the quest, depending on your combat lvl and crafting lvl's... I would recommend taking two sets of metal studds and 2 or 3 pieces of soft leather, needle and thread onto the island too make coif and studded leather. It's just another added lvl of protection. One last thing, I believe magic (fire spells) are recommended to kill the 'tree spirit,' so just run behind the rocks/log. (It's an easy kill from the safe spot.) Good Hunting! Ciao
  4. Ummmm.... Do you mean that there is a Ninja monkey up there or that Archery monkey will work in the same as a Ninja monkey for the greegree? Ta
  5. Hi... I'm working on "Receipe for Diaster" sub-quest and I need to kill a "Ninja" monkey and have had zero success. (I'm really getting tired of waking up in jail!!!) :( Any help would be appreciated. Ta
  6. Hi... I've got to say I think farming is set along the lines of cooking and fishing. The higher your lvl the easier the lower lvl items become. It's kinda like cooking as your lvl rises you burn less and less food. As far as harvest amounts, well there has been an increase in yield for my lower lvl herbs, but nothing too significant on the higher ones. (It would be interesting to know the farming lvl of the player that claimed the large number on ranarrs.) Of course, some players swear watering increases the _yield_ even though they supposedly do not need to be water. Another said too be sure to have an lots of open space in your bag when you go to harvest. They felt if you had too make two trips it lessened the yield. One thing all serious farmers do agree on is "super" compost it is a must use component. Personally, the only difference I've notice is how often a crop will fail with my lvl 71 farming. Now I just play the odds, unless I'm growing Ranarr or higher. In fact, I prefer selling most of my Ranarr seeds for 15k or more and just killing Chaos Druids in Yanille or Banishes in Slayer Tower in Canifis for herb drops.) Sorry... can't be more certain. Well, here's too good farming! O-BTW - If you're talking regular crops, well, there is a significant difference in the amounts I harvest when I care for them myself vs "paying" a NPC to do it for me.... Ciao
  7. I forgot to mentioned gaunlets: Cooking gaunlets +10 on cooking lvls Crafting gaunlets +10 for crafting (when smelting gold bars only) These are from "Family Crest" quest.
  8. Hi again, The main purpose of my original post was to see if I was overlooking something that would up my crafting lvl. When I listed the pots, pies and beer it was from memory. I forgot about the spicy stews, the chalise and the (other) pie, so thanks for the reminder. Unfortunately, it looks like there is nothing after all for crafting... Dang. Well, thanks again or all the replies. Maybe someone at RS will take notice (wink: wink: nudge: nudge:), an add it too an update as a reward in an upcoming quest. :D Ciao
  9. Can anyone tell why there isn't a beer or pot or pie to increase crafting, fletching, runecrafting or theiving by a lvl or two. I mean: Cooking has Chef's Delight Magic has Mind Bomb Herblore has Greenman's Ale Wood Cutting has Axeman's Folly Slayer has Slayer Respite Mining/Smithing has Dwarian Beer Fishing has two: Fishing pot or Admiral pie (which raises lvl up like 5 lvl's) Farming has garden pie Agility, Combat, Range, and Dragon Slaying all have pots. These two don't raise lvl but they do have a pot and a beer: Prayer has restore Theiving has Bandit Beer But too the best of my knowledge: There are no pot's or beers or pies for Crafting, Fletching or Runecrafting. Or am I wrong... And there is a pot, beer or pie for them as well? So, can someone shed some light on this subject or add their opinions on this topic? Looking for enlightenment. :wall:
  10. I was going left when I should have made a right on path.. Thanks for your help! Ciao

  12. I believe it indicates when someone is wearing the same team robe as yourself.... It's been around a while. :D
  13. When you look for ice demon for 'dwarf' sub quest: Go to where the Oracle is on Ice mnt. Kill one of the Ice Fiends aka Ice Demons.. (they are only lvl 15.) There was no indication that the rock cake was cool, but it worked. Hope this helps.... Ta
