This wasn't even a perfect kill, but I won't complain as I got the fabled firecape! I got to Jad eventually, but with only two brews left! This didn't bother me too unduly, because if I did get hit it was likely to be an instant k0. I killed the last 360, and waited. Thirty seconds passed and no sign of the big red machine. I waited ten seconds longer, moved a tad south and saw the beast trapped behind the Italy rock! Perfect. I ran forward, my adamant bolts proving themselves and ripping through him. I missed a prayer, my heart sank. But, I was given another chance, he only hit me for 55! I got to the healers, feeling increasingly nervous but quietly confident. One by one they turned their attention to me, but only one could attack. I missed another prayer, but this time a 23! I was being hit with tiny ripples of lag, just enough to cost me my cape if they got me at the wrong moment. The fight was voer quite quickly, and after four attempts I earnt my cape!

I was thinking about taking 1k mith bolts (e) for the 62 waves before Jad, then switching to diamond bolts and then after healers whacking him with about twenty dragonstone bolts and switching back to diamond. I have most of these banked so it wouldn't cost me too much. I am using an accumulator so you know.

I am getting quite annoyed with my failed attempts at Fight caves, and aving to drain my bows each time is really tedious. I heard many people now choose to do the Caves using bolts, and I am quite curious at how expensive it is and whether any of the method changes. I also like the idea of using maybe some more expensive bolts [dragonstone bolts] on Jad for a quicker cape. If you have any suggestions or advice please post 'em here. :)

Theres no doubt about it, your bank is one of the best I've seen in a while. It is slightly messy in some places but the sheer volume of hidden moneys (half keys, rune items) is amazing! 10/10 for the bank. :D Your stats are really nice as well, I can see you like meleeing things! I'm not entirely sure why you cut off the bottom, 85 Slayer and 70 Construction is something you should share with everyone. :P I'm not going to tell you to raise your skills, because if you don't enjoy it then you shouldn't do it. Keep up the great work!

That might be what you believe but you can't speak for everyone. I don't want to start a debate about the afterlife because it is completely off-topic, but you can't disregard other peoples beliefs just because they aren't in synch with yours. I really hope all of those ignorant morons who scam their friends of rares and money are reading this, the people on the receiving end might not commit suicide over it but that sort of betrayal has got to hurt. I think some people are too driven to be the "best" and forget that having fun and making friends is the entire point of the game. Its simple, you cant prove there is a god, science can prove the world is several hundred million years older then the bible says it is, and that man was created far from the 7th day of existance. Now are you going to trust a 2000 year old fiction novel, or sience which is fact. I never said I believed in Heaven or Hell, I just think you shouldn't cut off peoples beliefs despite what you believe in. I was just curious to know what the droprates for hilts are at GWD. If you know or can estimate please post em here.

If you mean one or two doses to get to Jad, well that would be near impossible. I think it is a waste of time and money to try and get the "perfect" spawn, especially since it isn't that much harder to listen for his first attack and change prayers accordingly.

I'm considering taking bolts my next try, perhaps even making some high level bolts for Jad. I still won't go for a while though, I'm using far too many super restores/saradomin brews on things like this and GWD. :P

Diagonal movement? elaborate please someone? jad move in diagonal. you can't "lure" him behind the italy rock and prepare yourself to fight him. I still don't know how to kill him lol. Before a lot of the fighting was done at the "Italy" rock, and it was much easier to lure Jad behind it as dedhed said. I think getting to Jad is just as easy if you use the claw rock in the northwest though. :)

My attempt yesterday, first since the diagonal movement and second overall. I messed up whilst fighting a 360 and a 90, wasn't too pleased. This was this morning, I was doing perfectly but I guess I missed one of Jads attacks. I'm still pretty annoyed but pleased I got quite far, although I'm not having another go for a while.

ARGHHHHHHH! I was doing so well, I got up to Jad with no problems whatsoever. He spawned in the middle, attacking with Magic first. I switched my prayers perfectly and when the healers came I attacked each one without messing up. I don't really know what happened next, I'm guessing I missed a prayer switch because I didn't even see the amount of damage I got hit for. :cry I'm not going to try again for a while now, I don't want to drain both bows and pay 360k just now. -.-

I'm really annoyed with myself. I got really far into the caves, about wave 55 I think. I made an stupid rookie mistake and forgot to switch to magic prayer for the next round, didn't realise it was the 360 until I got hit for 49 and died. :( I'm draining my crystal bow at the moment, might go in after my dinner. I really want this cape now! :P

Yeah my first version missed out the line with my Barrows set, the one on the front page has been updated to include them. :P I'll check for you Sjak, if it is you can have it.
