  1. Those who actually have a need to kill them for Slayer experience. :P I think that is actually a good trip, I manage a granite maul every other trip and mystic tops are quite rare, good job. Burthorpe, Burthorpe and burthorpe again. Time and effort wasting task. I suppose it is all down to personal preference, I know my friends burthorpe some tasks I enjoy and vice versa. I can see why some people would burthorpe Gargoyles, but I enjoy them personally.

  3. I think this is a good idea for things like Crafting, but I really can't see how the other skill options (like Woodcutting and Mining) are really neccessary. Maybe I'm misinterpreting the update?
  4. Clue #56 Got a Dk trip to upload later, nothing great though. #-o
  5. Dagannoth Kings Trip #28 - Solo Maging Veracs This trip was just rubbish. As I went into the lair Supreme got me down to 30 HP - twice. Then the spinolyps decided they were going to pummel me endlessly, meaning I managed only 600 casts. And no drops either.
  6. Get 60 Slayer and kill Aberrant Spectres, totally worth it.
  7. You are extremely lucky if you average two drops every trip. Usually you will get a warrior to cover the cost of pots, or a dragon axe/berserker ring for some profits. Don't kid yourself into thinking every time you venture down into the lair will be as successful as that. Keep it up and good luck in the future. :)
  8. I predicted that drop tbh, just didn't say. :-w Keep it up Sheeeeeeeey!
  9. Dagannoth Kings Trip #27 - Solo Maging Veracs Rubbish trip, Draco Draco was my suicider. Two lurers came in whilst he was still killing Prime and Supreme, and he bravely managed to continue and they had to teleport. Unfortunately for me they returned halfway through the trip and when I got hit for 49 by Prime I took that as my que to leave...
  10. Erm, why not? Good luck hitting the last two levels, 99 Firemaking is a nice level to have! :D
  11. Well, that sure is ok isn't it? 50k words is just a very lot. You really don't have to be ashamed if you can't make that. I have a big respect for you just for trying it. And I do think you should set a goal for yourself on it, and then try to write a good novel on that limit. It's more important to meet your own goals than to work your [wagon] of to meet some goals that you just can't make (yet?). Just set a (lower) goal for yourself this time, and maybe next year participate again and aim a little higher. I'm sure that you'll be able to reach that 50k goal as well. Maybe not just yet this year. But I just know you are good enough to make it someday later. And again, I really have a big respect for you for trying it. And you surely don't have to be ashamed if you can't get 50k words. Thanks Sjak. I've started a new piece already, I'm going to be more careful about this one because it is one of my ideas I seriously would consider developing properly. I think the idea of working to a deadline was the thing that was stressing me out, I wasn't expecting to pull out so early but in the back of my mind I think I knew it was too much for me.
  12. I am really saddened to see you have to leave like this. You were always a helpful person around the forums, I remember you giving me such great advice when I wanted to consider staking (a dead dream now though :P). I think it is terrible when people quit on a low note like this, and I hope the keylogger at least feels some guilt into what they've done. Goodbye and good luck, you are the best pure/staker I've ever known! :D
  13. *sigh* I really didn't think I'd be be posting this... At the moment I'm feeling like the writing is too much for me. It averages at about six pages of A4 a day if I want to hit the 50k word goal, I only just managed that on the first day with no homework and nothing else going on. I went out with friends yesterday and did about two and a half pages. I'm really ashamed of myself that I can't even keep up something like that for even the smallest amount of time. I'm going to try and start something else, probably smaller, but in my own time limit. My mum thought the competition was a good idea but I could tell she was sceptical whether I would managed 50k words in a month. I would rather have not written this post but there isn't much else I can do, I simply don't have the time to write 50k words in 30 days. :(
  14. The best of bank looks amazing Shey! Keep up the great work and good luck on 99 Prayer, 91 Runecrafting and more Dk trips.
  15. Congrats on 96 magic Sjak! A GS would be really cool, I don't know enough about the different hilts to advise you on which one to get though. :P Keep it up! :D
  16. Sounds like an awesome month!
  17. You could click the link and see. :P What I'll probably end up doing is playing at the weekends and not in the weekday. It'll be a slow month for experience etc but I think I gain a lot from NaNoWriMo so I really want to take time to do it properly. Sad nerd pls? Joke. But seriously, what a waste of time, your at home to have fun, don't piss off to do that. -.- You must come to teh partay tommorow. :XD: Of course everybody should have exactly the same definition of fun as you. On topic: If you really like writing go for it! Ambition for life >> runescape. I think you could be a pretty good writer; I really liked the things you wrote about yourself and your life when I started reading your blog. That's actually the reason I stayed so loyal, I loved reading those! Yeah, if u want to do this hartlar, go for it Thanks everyone, I really hope I can stick with this and see it through to the 50k word count on the 30th. I will probably still get online at the weekends so expect to see updates trickle in occasionally. :
  18. You have an awesome runecrafting level! Slayer is worth it if you want to train melee, but I think going for 85 purely for abyssals isn't a good idea. Think of the slayer levels as a bonus for all your hard work combating. Anyway, good luck and keep it up! :D

  20. Woo hoo it's back! This blog is really original and I remember wondering where it got to a while back. Keep up the good work and good luck. :)

  22. Halfway there! I'm considering taking a one month break from Runescape. I have sort of lost motivation at the moment, and Chocslice has told me about NaNoWriMo and I really want to be an active part of it. Putting off my goals for a month completely seems like a lot but I might be able to log on at weekends. I haven't decided 100% yet but I feel pretty strongly my playing time might be cut down soon.
  23. Good luck with 99 Fishing, although since you are so close I guess you don't need it. *yoinks back luck* Good luck on your goals afterwards instead! :D
