77 Attack: Thank goodness I can't be on much tomorrow, I nearly burnt myself out getting that level. I played a bit too much today I think. :| 1215 Dust Devils until 80 Attack, then a further 2637 until 80 strength. I am slowly getting there! :D

What the (estimated) odds of a King Black Dragon dropping KBD Heads? Also, with a duo team looking to get heads would it be better if they were both wearing a RoW, only one wearing a RoW or neither of them wearing it? Thanks. :)

I did Desert Treasure at a similar level to you, and despite dying to Damis (stupid laptop ftl) I found the only 'tricky' bit was the pyramid. It wasn't an extremely challenging quest, quite a long one though.

Well today has been very productive for me (so far). Finished off getting Bones to Peaches, earnt some attack levels and have had some great drops @ Dusties! 77 Attack to come tonight? We can only hope! :D

That is a good point I neglected to mention. I think some people are too oriented around being the best as opposed to having fun.

Ok, so I got my statistics wrong. My original question still remains, I think it is foolish to go training against such odds for the sole purpose of one item. I will change the statistic though. EDIT: I am not saying people should aim lower, I was trying to point out the fact that sometimes the odds are against you and some people don't realise it.

The question I have been asking myself recently is whether we expect too much from the game we are playing. Let me use this example to try and show you what point I am trying to get across: I am currently camping at Dust Devils using the spell Bones to Peaches. The experience is great and I love the feeling of picking up an Earth Battlestaff every now and then and instantly alching it for 10k. There is usually one or two more people down there training at the same time, which gives me the opportunity to make some conversation. Guess what crops up in all my talks? 'I want a chain sooo badly. I better get one soon.' This got me thinking, how can you be training for a dragon chain when the odds are like 1:5k. That is insane. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see a shiny piece of dragon armour lying in front of me. But chances are it isn't going to happen. This brings up my question once again, do we expect too much from the game? I see quite a lot of posts with people complaining about 'junk' clues and how they haven't had any barrows items in 30 trips. Are they purposely setting their standards too high? I don't like peoples hopes being crushed but this is exactly what I am seeing. Is the majority of the Rs community like this? When you go out for training, are you always expecting a dragon drop or similar? Discuss.

Well, we owned the KBD four times and I earnt this: We got some decent drops too, including a dragonstone and a half key! I just ate my lunch (turkey soup and bacon sandwiches =P~) and now I am ready for more Dust Devil extermination! :D EDIT: I neglected to mention I now have 94 combat. #-o

I'm practising some prayer switching with my friend who is doing the Fight Caves soon, then I am going to KBD. :D

I use the Gnome Amulet whilst training at Dust Devils, the extra defence helps. I also use a Wealth whilst training there.

I just did Cold War, tomorrow I will finishing getting the 1200 odd enchantment points I need. What a productive day! :D

Man alchemy sure is boring! I have 130/300 points so I am getting there. After I get Bones to Peaches I think I will do 'Cold War' before I return to Dusties. I want to be able to wear my quest cape again! :(
