IMO it is. Range can hit from a distance, and most of the time take absolutely 0 damage. With melee you have a chance to die and lose your stuff every time. Also, melee has more high-level weapons, such as dragon scimitars, etc, while range's dragon bolts and bow is still going to come out. ha ha take 0 damage? yes training but have you ever pked, its easy for mage to not get hit with ice spells but with range as soon as you attack the meleer is right up by you and unless you want to run around trying to not get hit (which is pointless because once you stop theyll hit you) its impossible to "not get hit" And this all goes back to the triangle! Range doesn't beat melee... it never has and never will. It simply wasn't designed to do so. Go back to the triange, mage loses against range because of the dragon hide. Yet range beats mage because they just pwn them. Mage beats warrior because mage can freeze and the armour reacts with the mages spells. However warrior pwnz range because of the thin armour he has on. In short, range was not, has never been designed to kill a warrior! Get over it, use range to kill mages because thats what they're ment to do. Range is not underpowered. Go kill a mage and you'll own them.

Ok my main question is where to train at my level. Basicly i'm 74 combat, pic has stats and my set up. Whats a good place to train? Don't really like giant spiders in the sos so please don't mention them. Set up: Also i rate it while answering if you want :P I know this isn't the rate me section but it can't hurt. Not sure if i want to get mage to 85, probably will and i want str up.

Hey just need some help on fremiking trails. I'm up to the seers part and i can't seem to work out the clue. Just wondering if you might know it. My first is in wizard, but not in a mage My second in jail, but not in a cage My third is in anger, but not in a rage My last in a drawing, but not on a page My whole helps to make bread, let birds fly and boats sail. What am i? I was thinking it had to be something like this. These are the letters that are in the first like "wizard" and not in the last like "mage". No no no no NO! I got from lvl 45 - 52 in 2 hours. And then from lvl 52 - 60 in another 2,5. I got this by doing the feud quest in pollivianich and pickepocket'ing th bandits in the town. Take noted food and some cash with you and sell your food/buy it back from the general store. Right click the bandit and "lure" him into the house thats in the pic. You don't need waterskins while you are in the town. Also if you go up the ladder when you get caught its much easier. Basicly pic says most of it. You will lose approx 66 gp per lobb but you make it up while thieving, you make it all back + more. Here is a vid steiner made of him pickepocketing the bandits. Just a little note i got from 45 - 60 thieving in approx. 3 hours. I moved on to the other bandits at lvl 55 thieving. Also when i finished i had approximately 192 k. That means i gained 92 k from thieving. I used up 374 lobs. 374 * 200 = 74800 gp. That means by doing this method i gained approximately 17 k if i bought back my lobs. When i ran out of lobs i went out of the tent, closed the curtain and went to the general store. Sold lobs/bought them back healed my self back up to full health. Then i sold more and bought back till i had a full pack. Oh and another note. at higher levels 50 + recomended. If you get caught and he says "I'll kill you for that" what i did was just normaly thieve from him (you have to thieve on the first hit he attacks you). Most of the time i succesfully thieved and gained more xp + money. Also by doing this he wont attack any more. However if you fail to thieve you will get hit for 5 but he will no longer attack you.

Hey steiner, i just have a quick question. I'm 45 thieving at the moment... will bandits be a good place to train thieving? I'm getting around 10-20 k xp an hour at master farmers so its pretty old. oh and nice guide :) EDIT: I tried out the bandits and they are definitely much faster at my level. I just lure/knockout/pickepocket the lvl 41 bandits. Get 140 xp for knockout/picketpocket/picketpocket. Oh and here is a pic of the invent i use, you don't need waterskins while you are in the town. Hey all i'm looking for some info on the Bearded Pollnivian Bandit. It looks like great thieving xp but i'm just wondering whether or not it is or isn't. Is it in the desert (ima thinking it is) if so where abouts? What town.. also is it recomended to thieve from them and why/why not? Thanks all :)

Cracker :wall: Think about it, many people are popping them still to this day. I've seen people on tif pop them. And every time a person pops one its 1 less in the community. Party hats can only be lost if someone gets banned/dies/or trys to trade it with a goblin and ends up dropping it.

Sadly to say, i havn't. Nor have i had dreams about it which some people have.

Runescape hasn't taught me to much to be honest. Pehaps that scammers will always be scammers? Lol ok :P Runescape has taught me a little bit that i could apply to real life. Its taught me that not all can be trusted, however those who can be trusted should be trusted. I know that may sound a lil odd but thats my theory. As you have mentioned it's also taught me to be a little more patient. I think of myself as pretty patient but yes, runescape has taught me to be even more (ift thats possible :-s ) I'm happy that i came accross this game. Its really helped me in times of bordem when i needed a sort of get away. It lets me go into a place where i can meet a whole new list of new friends and laugh at the odd people that really do exist in real life as we know it. I do however agree on the how you act on a game shows basicly how you, do or want, if you had the chance, to act in real life . Runescape can also bring out the best in many people. Because your hiding behind another persons face it allows you to speak your mind. I much prefer reality. I may have some awesome friends in runescape but lets be honest. How often are you ever going to see their real face. I love being able to go to a group of friends and just hang out with them. I know you can do this in runescape but its just not the same.
