I know the replies people have, and I know the assumed view by many of the evolutionist on these boards that its a fact not a theory. I admit that was an immature post by me, but obiously you didn't read my others. The evolution of mankind can not be proved, but each year, with each new strain of the common cold virus, evolution is proved. So school is calling, you dont belong on the internet.

I noticed a few people posting some really ignorant things, so I'm just going to say one thing as I don't want to get into a long battle with this. In the theory of evolution, people did not evolve from "monkeys." Instead, monkeys and people evolved together from older primates, and due to natural selection and location and yada yada, people are people and monkeys are monkeys. So if you are arguing against evolution by saying that people couldn't have evolved from monkeys, do me a favor. Research the theory of evolution, and as soon as you are done, pull your cord out of your computer.

He makes a point. Overall, people are stupid and many thrive on insulting others. Ignore them because they're just trying to make up for their own insecurities (cliche, but true). You'll meet plenty of people who accept you for who you are and they're the ones you should care about. Stay true to yourself and forgot the rest. First off I'm going to ignore the first part of your post as it has been discussed in the other thread. Second, on the quote, I think it is quite the opposite. IF atheists tell christians to do anything, which, they dont, its to be closed minded rather than open minded. Closing your mind to nothing but the facts is what athiests do and how theories are derived. Opening your mind to things that are possible with no facts is how faith is derived. And thats all I have to say.

From my experience that is how I feel. How ever since I am in highschool and the majority of this experience has been dealing with zealous immature teenagers, I will admit that it could be due to immaturity and that if you looked at an older age group the percentages would be reversed. But as I said I am dealing with my experience, and this is what I have experienced.

Theres a difference between being intelligent and being smart. Smart can be learnt, intelligence can not. As for be I'd much rather have my intelligence. But I wouldn't I wouldnt call my self ugly, so I don't know how I would feel if I did.

And if you were actually considerate enough to look past these sensational issues to the core and majority of those in the faith, you would realize that there is nothing objectionable about them as people, just as the vast majority of them find nothing objectionable about you. He can do whatever the hell he likes as far as I'm concerned. At what part did I say I was Christian? I merely exercised my "right to disagree with something". It was also meant as a hypothetical situation to show the reason not to start a completely random attack on someone's way of living. The fact you see it as cruel (which yes, it was meant to be, the analogy would fail otherwise) is exactly how Christians feel when they are attacked in a similar way. Get my point? When christians are attacked.... You do realize the point of this topic right? Christians are constantly lashing out at people for not believing, and when those people question the chrisitans reasoning, the christians are the ones attacked?! I am failing to see how this is so. I don't hate it, I just don't understand it. Well then I'll explain it now :lol: Christianity as in all religions, was invented in order to control the population. To help guide it in the right way. Religion once served this purpose and it got us to where we are today. But now, its useless and is holding us back from society's full potential.
