Sorry to be harsh but I'm going to have to agree with Nadril. The characters look 100% buddy kitted as well.

Alright, I went ahead and picked a photo. It should be pretty challenging in my eyes. There's still 2 days left to sign up so hopefully we will see some more entrants.

Well as for the manipulating you did a pretty good job. Everything is cleanly cut and so on. As for the manip. its self, it's not exactly my thing, and I'm left with an over all feeling of... wtf? Not necessarily a bad thing haha, its just odd. :wink:

Well first of all, if you are going to be posting multiple pieces in a day, you need to create one page that you update. Having 4 threads on the first page by the same artist tends to clog things up. As for the manip. If your just going for changing colors on a photo then you did a good job. But if you want something artistic.... There's nothing to it. You don't have any focal point except for a large blur. Sometimes that works, if the blur is to represent something like the sun as it sets or rises, but because you changed the colors, we don't know if the sky is of the right color for that case. So as I said your only focus point is a large blur, which is rather boring. Sorry if it sounds harsh, its not supposed to be, just c/c.

Very nice, only problem I can see is that you might have blown the sky out a bit. Try replacing the sky maybe and it will be great.

I think I almost used this photo in a manip the other day. 8-) Anyways, its not one of my favorites. The effects overall are alright, but I'm not a big fan of the colors.

Or do you think v3 is better?

It looks great except the guitar blends to much into the checkered black and white. Maybe try moving the checkered colors down a bit or the guitar up a bit so the neck of the guitar is not on the checkerboard.
