Umm.. if the kid's recently admitted he has a problem and wants to go back to school, it's simple, cut him off from the game.. If he wants to go back, he won't complain about being cut off.. This is completely the parents fault.. Someone needs to make an article on the same newspaper "Computer Games Stole My Son Because We As Parents Didn't Pay Attention Or Even Try To Stop His Addiction."

Sorry to say this, but that article was very poorly written. Not only were the concepts not entirely accurate (I would learn a whole LOT more from ONE chapter of a history textbook than from RuneScape), but the examples provided were quite poor. The two things I will partially agree with is that one, I did learn to type a lot faster thanks to RuneScape, but that can be applied to any online chat game. The other is the creative and imaginative aspects to RuneScape. Probably the most important thing that you can learn from RuneScape is a new language if you decide to venture into the German worlds.

Hi : All I want to do right now is smack you across the face : I'm pretty sure I saw a level 76 with the cape just yesterday.

Interesting read, I'm actually surprised that construction is draining the money 1B each day. Sure it's not much compared to the 6-7B that comes into RS each day, it's still a lot and I would definetely say Jagex succeeded in creating a good money drain.
