  1. They are the little bins near the patch. They'll have the lid open, and they're called "Compost Bins". You should see it, keep looking. And welcome to Tip.It!
  2. Because people don't want to take the time getting 99 in a skill that has no evident profit, other than Shade Burning; that's why not everyone has 99 firemaking. And to Phisher; very well thought-post, so let's discuss. I've not said that you see theses capes every single day, hundreds of times a day. No, I've said that you see them way to often. If we made a ratio of how many skill capes we've seen, cooking, fletching, and the QP cape would most likely be in the highest ratios- followed by combat stats. It's the simple fact that over time, you'll see more of these capes than you will of the supply-skill skill capes (if you don't know what I mean, I made a post about it earlier). These capes start to lose their "umph!" and glamour after a while since you've seen so many people do them and wear them.
  3. Don't know if this has been posted, but try using a tinderbox on someone's cat.
  4. C'mon guys.. Did I say not admirable, or did I say least-admirable? I said that all capes are admirable, no matter what skill it is for. Please read all of it before you post. For the two people that have said all skills are equally as hard/easy to get up, that is only true in theory. If you had.. say.. enough supplies for 99 cooking and 99 fletching, you'd get them in almost the same amount of time. But, in reallity, skills do take longer than each other to train, due to availability of resources and determination. It most definitely does take longer to get a 99 in a combat skill rather than something like Fletching or Cooking. Oh.. and mining cannot be bought. Buying a pickaxe does not mean you've bought the skill.. trust me. And interesting discussion guys and gals, keep it up.
  5. I think it's all just random. Everytime you pickpocket something, it runs that certain line of code, and I'm pretty sure there's nothing regarding wait time. If so, then why wouldn't you succeed everytime on the very first pickpocket, seeing as you hadn't done it in a while? And even so, it would be better to take the chance of getting caught. 30 seconds is much to long. In that time period, you could've attempted and succeeded pickpocketing multiple times. And next time, don't triple-post.
  6. I'm going to bed guys. Keep this thread interesting. Lets see some good responses by tomorrow? Skillcapes r ftw, kthxnite?
  7. Not neccesarily saying "love you guys!".. be funny 'bout it. "I wubs ye all!" "Spwead the wub!" "Lub ye lub ye, read all about it!" I dunno... make it corny.
  8. Ever stop to think about them? Where have they been? What do they do? Well... Frog Prince/Princess: He/she must have some type of disease or something. I mean, he/she only kisses thousands of RS citizens everyday, nonstop.. kinda creepy in my opinion. That's where I wear my handy dandy gas mask to kiss her. Sammich Lady: Does she reuse the same food? People putting their grubby hands on it all the time, not knowing the difference between a baguette and a spinach roll. They've got to be all germy! Freaky-Forester: Can't he catch his own dang pheasants!? Sheez.. I mean, he only takes hundreds of people everyday to help him. And he's gotta run outta laederhosen sooner or later.. I leave the rest up to you guys. Come up with some crazy ideas about them!
  9. Heh.. never thought of someone charging to do the emote. That's pretty funny. But people that head through the noob-packed areas of RS are bombarded with "emote plz" and "do emote pl0x"s. 3 in one minute.. is that really a record?
  10. OMG.. hellbellz just got ownt by Mr. Cook-Nub, Toast647. Haha.. So, Toast.. how's it feel to wear your fancy Cooking Cape? How often do you get bugged to do the emote? Enlighten us with your uber-nubbiness. Sorry to insult ya, comes with the territory
  11. I see that you, wishkahbanks, have that ever-desired Woodcutting cape. How's it feel? Do you feel more proud wearing that than if you had say.. the cooking cape? Which would you wear? And why?
  12. It's not just patience, it's also dedication we praise. Dedication to a mindless and repetitive task, as is all of Runescape, but dedication nonetheless. Setting goals in-game and actually sticking to them has helped me in real life as well. We're not just awarding them for their patience and dedication to do things in RS, but also the fact that they could do it in the first place, no matter where; in a game or in [dreaded] real life.
  13. Yes, yes. Toas is a noob. But that's irrelevant. Naw just playing. Toast! And yes, I agree with Mr. Construction-Noob; getting the geepees for Construction is the admirable part. You know, if I searched this thread for the word "admirable", it'd probably show up 50 times by now.. Haha.
  14. I try. Love is good. Spread the love! But keep it PG, we don't need an RS... uhm.. [love]-bug, if you get what I mean. *cough cough* **EDIT** Lookie, I'm spreading the wub!
  15. Hey boy, lets not get started okay? I'd like to keep this thread a presentable, decent thread without any flaming. Now, lets set you straight and settle this. Did I "bash" a cape? No, I explicitly stated that all 99s are admirable. Anyone that has a cape has obviously taken the time and money to achieve it and has most definitely earned it. I'm just asking which ones others think are too over-rated, and stating my opinions. Happy? "kthnxbai" Oh, and sorry for the double post guys. I got caught up in the moment.
  16. I hear ya on that one. I've never once bought a single ingredient or herb for herblore. It's only at 29. I've gotten 2 of those levels just from ID'ing herbs while training combat. Herblore is one of the most admirable-yet-buyable skills out there. And construction may be able to be bought, but that cape shows that you've had a lot of spare money to waste, and you could probably do it again if you wanted! Although I don't see why you would want to. So far, the capes I've never seen in-game are: Construction Thieving Crafting Slayer Hunter Smithing I've seen all the other capes, however.
  17. Aw, c'mon. Spwead the wub! WUB WUB! WUB WUB WUBBERS WUBBINESS! WUB TO ALL! Tuh-Duhm. It's nice to see someone wants to make people happy. I see too many 'Scapers being uptight and grumpy.. especially defensive when insulted. C'mon, just let it slide..
  18. Dude.. asl. I remember that from a long time ago. Do people really still say that? Hahaa...
  19. Now now, Spoofy-Woofy. Don't get your underwear in a wad. I didn't say actually achieving it was easy. I said buying it was easy. You could easily buy the logs, but it does take time and concentration, as I said. Easy to buy, yet hard to carry it out, seeing as it's pretty uneventful. Tinderbox -> log, move west, tinderbox -> log... You get the point.
  20. I'm sure he'll "sprad" as much joy as he can, seeing as he's probably "make" as you are. Don't you love typos? And sure, I felt all warm inside! I was wearing some heavy clothes..
  21. Personal experience there Tripsis? Haha.. Construction noob. Joking, joking! (please don't ban meh! :XD: )
  22. I was just thinking the same thing, foofoomagoo (nice name btw). Construction is the one skill that you pretty much have to buy. It is semi-admirable to me; the fact that it's only accessable to rich people with lots of cash to spare turns me off of it. Herblore you can supply yourself if you train combat a lot and keep all your herbs. But it is mostly a bought skill. Yet it takes a lot more time and patience to get 99 in Herblore, and is one of the highest ranked stats in my book.
  23. I think you have the definition of least-admirable mixed up. Least-Admirable (adj) (leest-ad-mur-a-bull) - being non-honorable; not praise-worthy; having the quality of Multi-Taskery embued in it's fabrics. ex) You are the least-admirable cook I've seen; you steal everyone elses' recipes and claim them for yourself! See? I hope that cleared it up. Fishing and Woodcutting actually take time and dedication to do. You cannot buy those. Think of it this way: There are Supply-Skills,Supplied-Skills, and Independent Skills. Supply Skills are skills that make the resources for the Supplied-Skills. These skills are: Fishing Woodcutting Mining Runecrafting Hunting Supplied Skills are skills that get resources from other skills. These skills are: Smithing Cooking Fletching Firemaking Herblore Crafting Farming Magic Range Independent Skills are skills that you don't use other skills to directly gain experience in that skill. These skills are: Agility Construction Attack Strength Defense Hitpoints Thieving Slayer
  24. Heh, that made me think of an experience I had yesterday. I gave someone some advice in-game. He told me he loved me. Made me feel awkward.. very.. awkward. -.-
  25. You know.. I sense no end to this "endless debate" that was supposed to be ended in this topic. No endery for you, nope. But ... I'd have to go with the Scimmy. Over time (not just 5 hits), it will be better and more efficient. But really it all depends on what you're training on. Still, for all around goodness, a scimitar would probably do better.
