  1. JaGeX as a company are based in the UK, although they obviously have 'customers' (aka: we RS players) worldwide. In order to have worldwide paybyphone they would have to talk to phone companies right across the world. Because they are in the UK, it is easy for them to ask the mobile phone companies to do pay by phone. I don't think though that they want to have to travel right across the world to organise this in other places.
  2. It wouldn't be a good idea to have a quest to destroy the Wize Old Man. This is because he is a part of some other quests (eg: garden of tranquility), so if you destroy him then it mucks up those quests. The only way to make it a possibility is if you say that those quests with the WOM in have to be completed first.
  3. To be honest, and I don't want to disappoint you or anything :(, heraldry has sort of been introduced in P2P along with the construction skill. I know it's really annoying - I was F2P for ages before I got my P2P account. In heraldry you can paint shields and helms and armour.
  4. Well, I've been in support of this idea from the first moment I saw this thread, and my support is even stronger now. Whenever I add a new item to my bank at the moment, I have to sort through all my items to find where my seeds are, for example, and then I have to put the seeds in order of what farming level I need to use them (a personal preference). It's the same with my herbs. I absolutely hate doing this. If I remove all of an item it really messes up my system. If you could sort things by what level you need to use them then that would be great, but I understand that this is not likely to happen because of all the different skills some items can be used for (eg: hammer, iron bar). With the lock system, however, this means I can put my seeds in order and then take them out without losing their place. So it's not too bad at all. Can't wait to see this implemented by TG@JT! 5. I disagree. I do not think we need a new town. If you want to develop an area, the best place would be the group of houses in East Falador. One of those buildings is huge, which would make a great place for a mansion or possibly a two-storey marketplace. A quest or minigame could be developed around those houses and the local area. Best of all, this update would benefit F2P and P2P both. Anyway, where would you put a huge town three times the size of Ardougne? When I first came to Ardougne I thought it was big enough already, and Keldagrim is also huge. I still can't find my way around after about six months! How lost would I be with another city?
  6. Also, I don't think Jagex intends to sell membership in stores. Their intention is not to get thousands of people playing. If that happened then all the servers would get filled up and they would have to pay out more money for even more servers. Then membership costs would rise dramatically. I don't know anything about paying for online services or making credit cards or swipe cards, but I think Jagex would rather make a great game enjoyed by a relatively small group than a slow and laggy game played by millions.
  7. Yes, definitely, please! When you go to a better weapon you can hit more - I went from addy pick  to rune sword and started hitting 10s instead of 8s. So why shouldn't it be the reverse with armour? When I attack eg: ice warriors, I get hit 0s for ages and ages with me hitting nothing on them too. Instead, I would like it if I got hit 1s or 2s instead of being in a stalemate. It would still take the same amount of time to kill someone, but instead of hitting a large number followed by lots of 0s or 1s, you hit lots of small numbers. That way, you might get hurt a bit more in battle, but every warrior takes some scars in a fight! And there would be less of those high hits that suddenly come out of nowhere and really damage your hp. Plus there's none of that boring hitting 0s for ages and ages.
  8. Can I suggest that there isn't a limit set on the number of friends you can have? I know it seems stupid, and surely nobody could have that many mates, but surely someone out there might. Besides, not all your friends log on at the same time.
  9. Tip.it's guide says that I can't take armour in there. Is that a mistake? And I've tried using my rope with the rock but I can't reach it. Do I have to swim to that rock?
  10. I'm doing the waterfall quest and I'm trying to get across to the cave which needs Glariel's pebble to open it. I have got the pebble, four ropes (just in case), lots of food. Can I take a cape/boots/gloves into the cave? When I go to Entrana I'm allowed them so is it possible to get into the waterfall caves with them? I know from being so stuck that I looked at the tip.it guide that I have to use one of my ropes with a rock, but how do I get to that rock or that island? Swim?
  11. I was ranging wizards earlier down at wizard's tower by Draynor. My ranging level was slowly creeping upwards, and a short while after I made level 23 I burried some wizard bones. Shock, horror! A shade appeared in front of me and started to attack. But my combat level is level 54 so this shade was level 79. In desperation I responded by ranging him up close, even though he fought melee and could hit 7s, but I had my range armour and could only hit 4s. His health slowly crept down as I fired iron arrow after iron arrow at the shade, and my stomach was quickly filled with swordfish. As I came down to the last three or four swordfish in my inventory, the shade died. Yes! 23 range had killed a level 79 shade! Imagine my disappointment when he didn't drop anything for me to pick up. Well I am pleased with this kill, because it's actually the first level 79 I have ever killed. In fact, I keep away from anything over my own level normally. Maybe I should go for tougher beasts in the future, eh?
  12. Thieving, though farming is a close second.
  13. I noticed that back in RSC by accident. :D
  14. Oh yes. You can sell stuff in notes, so why can't you sell more than ten at a time? It's tedious and wastes playing time. You would thus earn much more an hour than you do now, as you can quickly get back to your moneymaing. :D There should also be a Sell X option.
  15. Wow. That's fantastic. I always try to keep the stuff in my bank that is related together, but with the current format it is practically IMPOSSIBLE! This is a brilliant idea. You can add my name to the supporters list.
  16. I met some great guys on RS Classic. Now it's impossible to really get to know anyone unless you help them out in a big way or always use the same world. I remember when they first introduced RS2 you could still play classic if you liked, even if you were a free player. But now it appears to be P2P only :(. The Runecrafting quest was the first free quest in ages, I remember that, and I was really happy! That's the first thing that was in RS2 but not classic. My best memory of RS2 was in the holidays mining down in Varrock chasm mine with another Brit who wasn't at school. It used to be really quiet, but now everyone is competing to get the best they can be. The distances are longer and the music is good, but RS Classic didn't make my computer drag like RS2 does. :( Fatigue was a faliure, that's for sure.
