I just ran a disk clean-up and for some reason it uninstalled paint and the calculator thing. I don't know why it would delete those; I use both of them quite a bit. Does anyone know how I could get them back? I have Windows XP, by the way.

I wasn't being rude or at least not trying to be... Anyways quitting is bad. Also, I tested this with another browser which allowed sound and I got the same result, except that the program in the title was different.

It's not nice to tell people to give up. Something about erasing my files just doesn't seem right, so does anyone else have any suggestions? EDIT: I don't appreciate you telling me to quit, although I do appreciate your suggestion. However I do not wish to implement it.

What will happen if you log out during a teleporting random event? My browser freezes randomly and I have to log out quickly or else the game will freeze, too. If, for example, I logged out after I was trapped with Prison Pete, what would happen? I just rushed throught that balloon popping thing(2 uncut diamonds yay) and then logged out. I got lucky this time, but next time...

I still get the same error. Does anyone know what might be causing this? EDIT: NOEXECUTE was not in that ...window

They both loaded, and the Flash one makes a swishing sound. Should the Shockwave one do it, too?

Also, a Myspace vide showed the quictime sign(not the question-mark one) on a white screen, and then said that I need to download Flash 8, which I already have, in red letters on a black screen.

I think that I read somewhere that it was illegal to download it... But I'll try it. EDIT: Also I'll reupload the picture.

For some reason, if Quicktime is installed on my computer, I can't play certain videos. I don't know what type of video it is exactly. The ones that I know about are some flash animations and any google videos(in the browser). If I uninstall Quicktime, I don't have this problem, but them of course, I won't be able to play any quicktime videos. Instead of the media displaying in the browser, it shows the Quicktime question-mark sign. This is extremely annoying...

It's been about a year since this problem started. This is really getting annoying. For anyone who doesn't want to have to read through all of the old posts: The game is freezing and the error on the first page makes me close Internet Explorer. I only have this problem on high detail. Runescape works on all other browsers/details. I am not going to change browsers, because the entire point of this is to be able to play Runescape with sounds. The sounds were my favorite part of RS2, and greatly helped me graduate from a semi-noob to a non-noob(i think :? ) I am really willing to try anything at this point.

Are you sur about that? I already erased my restore points...

I did what you suggested, yesterday, but I still got the message today.
