  1. Well I'm definitely in the skirt camp and am so used to it that I never think it looks particularly bad. In general though looks really are not at all important to me in RS. I have more than enough cash sitting around to buy the legs but it seems like a complete waste of money when you can get the skirt so cheaply. Now I think about it I got a dlegs drop a while back which I sold and bought a spare skirt :) I just use it for basic every day protection when I don't need to go out with one of the barrows sets or when I'm trying out for the first time something which may see me dead quickly.
  2. Think of it as a kilt and it's all good (unless you have a problem with Scots...) \
  3. if you don't have archer ring, explorer gives a small prayer boost (I think....) otherwise all the useful stuff has already been said.
  4. It's not just the points it costs you to skip...the real loss is that it takes you longer to get to the 10 tasks in a row mark which offers you the points bonus (and then also longer to get to the 50 tasks mark) - this is the real loss.
  5. This guide is the business! Stats as follows: Died a couple of times in the middle rounds by bringing ahrims instead of karils (how stupid did I feel when I realised!) Died a couple of times by lagging out. Died a couple of times by forgetting to put mage prayer back on when I was trying to save prayer. Died once by accidentally double hitting log out when I meant to only hit it once. Made it to Jad four times. First time, died as soon as I saw the healers (was still trying to get the hang of prayer switching - it really is worth practicing) Second time, (just missed a prayer switch having attracted the attention of all the healers) Third time, was trying to get the hang of repotting between prayer switches and um missed one :) Fourth time, defeated Jad with one health left (now that was lucky!) Only suggestions to emphasise in this excellent guide: You should definitely take enhanced excallibur with you. It basically means (when combined with guthans) you don't need to use and sardomin brews until Jad and is worth way more than the one brew space it uses up. If you're feeling harrassed during the pre-Jad rounds, you can use the logout feature to give you space to repot or reheal, wait for your excallibur special bar to refill enough to use. just click logout once during round and then make sure you're in combat with one of the creatures at the end of the round. This way it doesn't log you out and it doesn't start the next round. You have a good length of time to sort yourself out before logging out properly. Good luck to all who try it!
  6. If you want pure prayer and aren't fussed about levelling other combat skills then ectoing is the way to go (do Ghosts Ahoy quest, when you've got a good store of dragon bones / big bones then use ectofunctus - it's very boring but can be quick enough to justify the effort as compared to killing monsters). Even if you're high level combat and can kill dragons quickly, this will still be time efficient if done right. Pretty sure it's quicker than Ghasts on average too...
