For the last eight years, every time they’ve made a half [bottomed] update to this game, every time they’ve tweaked another useless upgrade, my response has always been the same: “Gee, thanks for that [useless upgrade], but what about Elf City?” <_< No. Really. It’s been sitting there for EIGHT years. So, hell yes, I am voting for Prifddinas. :shades:

It's fast when you have to do the wizard banquet, because the points actually increase as you do well and you don't have to sit through long animations to get them. It's probably fastest to just do the wizard banquet the whole way through :P These guys have blackholes for stomachs. Sounds like my kids ... :unsure:

Gems don't stack in the bank either - I've gotten two diamond gems from SOF, neither of them has been used, they went straight to my bank and took up two separate bank spaces. Not sure I want to keep anything that ties up an additional space in my bank, especially when I've already got 99 summoning and the likelihood that I am going to be using it anytime soon is practically nil ... <_<

Two words: Retro-armour ... Oh yeah! Well, I just gotta say that I am very excited about this month’s BTS and upcoming events. The Armadyl/Bandos event looks like it will be a lot of fun. My impression is that it will be a little like Castle Wars with a twist, so it looks promising. I’d also like to say that I was completely blown-away by the artwork for Armadyl and Bandos - it looked amazing! I joined the Premium Club last year and was satisfied with the package I received and the additional updates that I got over the year. I’m planning on buying it again this year. I do have one question though – is the “Festive Cracker” going to be tradeable too, or just the Santa Hat that comes from within it? :unsure:

Ok, so after much procrastination, I’ve decided to finally do the Desert Tasks, which means that I need to drag my butt through the Dominion Tower … Ok -- and before any of you get images of a dog dragging it’s backside across the carpet into your heads, I mean that I need to go in and fight and stuff, in order to earn dreadnips et al. Sheesh! So, here’s my question: while I’m sure that I’ve got pretty much everything I need to do it: skills, gear and what not – what I don’t know is how to actually go about it. Yes, I know where it is. Yes, I know how to use EOC. LOL. Any advice as to strategy and avoiding XP Waste would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks. Oh and skills = maxed combat, 99 summoning, 99 herblore et al. Gear = All Nex and POP sets + drygores, all chaotics, etc.

Yes hun, I know this. I know how to use the interface, very well, thanks. What I was looking for was if we have a guide that actually shows the "steps" on how to set up and use abilities on your Power Bar. Short answer is, "no, we don't". Frankly, that's not surprising. This forum is generally for more advanced players and, most likely, everyone here knows how to do it and simply takes for granted just how simple it is. What you’re failing to grasp is that there are people for whom anything beyond “point and click” becomes so overwhelmingly complicated, that they’d rather play RS07 or Classic, because all them thingery jiggery pokery doo-hickeys make it all too complicated. *facepalm* ... and yes, "thingery jiggery pokery doo-hickeys" is the technical term they use ... :rolleyes: Not to worry, I’ve already written a “guide” and posted it to a personal forum that they can access which should, for all intents and purposes, solve the problem raised by this thread. I've suggested that, but .. old people ... :rolleyes: Yeah - that's nice and all, but what I am really trying to find is a guide for people who are too busy complaining about "how they ruined Runescape" ... You know, the type that can't or won't actually mess around with "them there fancy doo-dads' and complain that they took "special attacks" out of the game. The type of peeps who are maxed combat but still wear torags, or dragon armour, and want to use whips ... :rolleyes: I am talking about a guide that literally shows, in pictures, how to open the ability bar and drag abilities thereto, et al ... And, yes, I know - lost causes and all that -- but a girl's gotta try, right?

Some friends of mine who play Runescape are having a difficult time adjusting to EOC. And yes, they're "old people". :rolleyes: Does TIF have a guide that I could link them to, which might show them how to open and set up their abilities bar? I'd rather not re-invent the wheel, if I don't have to. Thanks.

O_o? I was DCing in every world I tried yesterday. But once I hopped to W2 (my usual PvM world), it stopped entirely for me. Though my friends in other worlds kept logging out. :P. Nice disconnect between the two posts. Do you do that on purpose? It seems deliberate. Can't be right? It can't be. Please note that MY response wasn't to Yoko. MY RESPONSE was made to Scherzo -- who said he hasn't been able to get past the lobby since they updated. It's been suggested by Jagex that the way past THAT ISSUE (i.e. being stuck in the lobby) is to alter your graphics settings to minimum and log in from the lobby into the game. Try re-setting your graphics to minimum and then log in. You can reset graphics back to "normal" settings after that.

I am getting this - any ideas as to a solution? <_< NVM - solution found. FYI - reset your graphics, peeps. then set them back after you're in game.
