  1. I am in favour of hybrid icing. I always found the touch up rule to be so dangerous. The 2-minute minor for removing your helmet is silly. If one guy removes his brain bucket - the other one should too, and usually does. All you end up with is off-setting minors in addition to 5 for fighting. And it's about time for visors IMO ...
  2. Really -- then again, what more should one expect after, effectively, "playing hoops with Guthix"?
  3. * insert inevitable joke here about "needing a long-form birth certificate that's not from Kenya" *
  4. I am a product of immigrant run amok. My father is a Pashtun by origin, but his family emigrated to Canada from Brazil, and prior to that they resided in Trinidad, where they had originally been transferred as slaves from what is now Northern Pakistan/Southern Afghanistan. My mother is of Italian descent. Both my parent were born in Canada and if you ask them, or me, what my nationality is, we all say "Canadian". That is, until the FIFA World Cup is on -- then all bets are off ...
  5. Another example of what people believe they should be able to get-away-with due to the "faceless nature" of the Internet and its subsidiaries ... <_<
  6. I actually love this minigame. It could use a rework for making the food production easier, and also for balancing the rewards, but removing it is completely unnecessary. It's not necessarily a bad game I just don't really see a use for it in the game as a whole and the way the game has evolved it needs a use or it is pointless. I mean the gnome foods can still be made and enjoyed without it and none of the rewards are really useful. So all it has left for it that is good is a very basic take x to y mechanic that is pretty generic and does not need that content to exist to be reused. I like the idea of a delivery based minigame, I just don't think it fits well with the gnomes and the game has so little else going for it I'd rather see it scraped to allow the mechanic to be reused in something bigger and better. Careful though, what you wish for. Scrapping this mini-game could thereafter turn items like gnome scarves and gnome goggles into "discontinued items ..."
  7. Hey! I rent that remark! <_< ... and I am gonna make you eat those words! ... just as soon as I find out how to get out of where I am ... How much per month do you pay? Utilities included? Thbbbbbt! I meant "resent" ... *mumble mumble*
  8. Up until this point, all I could think of was “… well, that’s nothing ‘new’, is it?” *mumble mumble* fricken guardian door rooms everywhere with level 198 mages in them *mumble mumble* <_<
  9. Hey! I rent that remark! <_< ... and I am gonna make you eat those words! ... just as soon as I find out how to get out of where I am ...
  10. Let's keep it that way. Uh oh ...
  11. Fixed. do you see it now Oddly enough - yes.
  12. So have they confirmed that they will take the locks off Divination next week for lamps, Penguin Points, et al?
  13. Another "drop" from my 4-Leaf Clover ...
  14. Update: he wrote to Jagex and made an inquiry for the account but they denied it. Not sure why. It's not easy getting straight answers from a distracted teenager by text message. FYI - this is my "other" son - the one that stopped playing Runescape in 2007 or so. He hasn't used the account since that time and has no way of recollecting what the password for the account had been. It's an old account which he had started in or around October 2002. For all intents and purposes, it may even have been purged for all I know. Of course, he's confident that Jagex should keep "back ups" of all their data, so - you know - it should be accessible. Yes - he's one of THOSE kids that doesn't listen to his mother ...
  15. Your set up is not much different from my own, except I've "tabbed" several of the interfaces -- specifically those which like to have "accessible" for viewing when I need them, but I don't need "up front" all the time. It really helps simplify the view ...
  16. What's the predicted date when they will allow lamps, penguin points, TOG and what-not to be applicable to Divination? I am trying to determine whether to cash-in my 50 penguin points on something else now, or hold 'em ...
  17. Thanks Peever and everyone else for your kind replies!
  18. Thanks - we already did that.
  19. My son is looking to re-start playing Runescape again and I was wondering if anyone had any additional ideas of fast-tracking his application to reclaim his account? Thanks.

  21. Just got this from my two-leaf clover necklace:
  22. Huh? Is this one of those "English" colloquialisms? Sorry, I thought it was quite a common expression: "About as useful as a chocolate teapot" It must be a cultural thing. I’m a cross-mix of Italian and Pashtun (via Brazil and Trinidad), born in Canada and raised mostly in Quebec – so it’s not a common phrase in my experience … :P
  23. Huh? Is this one of those "English" colloquialisms?
  24. Whoa ... Deja vu!
  25. Is he on the "Enterprise", by any chance?
