Line tool, only if I'm working with something big, where a few misplaced pixels isnt that huge of a deal. 1px tool, if I have to have a load of detail, where one pixel is crucial.

Yea, practice on limited color shading. For each color, I decided to limit myself to only use two shades of it. Thank God for dithering. I wonder how the BG will look? Tis' very WIP, I have to add some stylization to the armour, you know. Bling bling. Yep.. You guys should try doing that yourself, I think it's great fun, plus I'm learning how to use a limited color palette.
