If you get membership you'll never be able to play Runescape again without a gut feeling in your stomach all the time. Accept your parents wish. If they don't want you paying to play a game, listen to them. You wouldn't want them to find out, would you? If you want to fantasize about having membership, look at members quest guides, the virtual gain isn't worth losing your trust.

Jagex is a business, there's a threshold to how much it cares about it's players. Put it this way, Jagex wouldn't be a business without it's players, but it wouldn't have players unless they kepts the game up-to-date with content, and they need to be making money to do that. With all businesses, the aim of the game is to make money. If Jagex didn't make money, there wouldn't be any RuneScape, or it would at least be of a much lower standard. To put it simply: Jagex will care about it's players enough to have them keep giving them their money, but no more.

It adds a little variety to the game.

I am wondering if I want to continue my membership right now - I have 30 days of it left, and the only reason I still pay is for the updates. The last 4 updates have sucked, so if the next few are as bad, cheerio.

It doesn't work. You can enter everything, but can't "submit" it.

If JAGeX rolled back a week, here's what achievements i'd lose 3 attack levels, from 67=>70 1 strength level, from 65=>66 2 defence levels, from 63=>65 34 construction levels, from 1=>34 2 runecrafting levels, from 52=>54 14 slayer levels, from 28=>42 1 magic level, from 59=>60 And all to make a few bloody players who lost a few items happy, ruin the achievements of hundreds of thousands? I DON'T THINK SO.

For comparison, please list your current levels.

Yep, bloody hell I thought when i discovered that i've spent over 600k. I'll need to do some law crafting tonight to reimburst the cost :-(

I've heard a lot of people complaining about bugs with the new skill/poh's, yet a lack of people actually reporting the bugs. Why?

Of course the excitement will die off eventually, in a couple of months. It's the same kind of excitement as new quests, the slayer and farming skills, the Tzhaar in September. The novelty of owning a player owned house will never fade, but the popularity will.

Don't you think Jagex keeps ahead of that? They write the update before they update it. Anyone knows that..................

It would be nice if you would edit out the IRC swearing. Also, no ranting about scams.
