Equilibrium vs. The Matrix
For those that have seen em both: how would you rate them if you didn't know which movie was made first? And how if you know The Matrix is from '99 and Equilibrium from 2002? When I saw it yesterday, I immediately had the impression it was a total rip-off of the Matrix 1. Sadly enough it only became worse further in the movie. Hero=copy of Neo, storyline=slightly altered copy of The Matrix, atmosphere=ditto, the ending scene,... you name it. Although equilibrium wasn't bad at all, in fact it was good movie IMHO, it get a 6/10 because it's incredibly unoriginal. The Matrix is one of the most mind-blowing movies I've ever seen, so it gets a 9.5/10. Equilibrium would've gotten a 9/10 if it weren't a rip-off. How about it? Are there any people who consider the two movies to be very different and can prove me wrong?

Bubsa Sings RuneScape: What happened next
Someone must've found out about ctrl+v. Get your act together man; go to school, learn to ask a proper polite question and do something about your grammar.

~What are the odds of this!~
My thoughts exactly... copy that The few times cops gave me trouble were when I was drunk with friends and seemingly made too much noise, haven't got a problem with that at all, if we 're drunk and shouting we are idiots/when the light of my bike doesn't work and get a 50̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¡Ãâì fine, that pisses me off, dumbest reason ever.

Kids at school using the word noob.
Yeah, at my youthclub we use 'noob' from time to time, but just to have a laugh, it's pathetic if you want to insult some1 by saying that. RS got me saying lol irl as well, probably their biggest achievement ever. Lol I do that too when I'm making excercices while studying, but I'm smart enough not to do that on an exam ;)

Your favourite band < '80s?
Well, last week I've borrowed a collection of albums from the 60s, 70s and 80s. I rarely listen to any of that music apart from the occasional Beatles/The Who/The Rolling Stones etc my father listens to. But now that I'm into these bands, I really started to appreciate this music. So here's my question: what is the best, or your favourite band from before the eightees? My vote goes to Queen.

Eminem
Naa, he did. He put rap on the map (all right, I'm on a roll too ). Eh? I said he did as well. It would be naive to think he didn't, or naive not to think he did, follow? Haha, oh sorry, I must've read too fast. *bad brains, BAD brains!*

Bubsa Sings RuneScape: What happened next
Hey Bubsa, I watched the lion king with my girl yesterday, it gave me the idea that perhaps 'the circle of life' could be transformed into 'the circle of life -RS style'? :)

Eminem
Naa, he did. He put rap on the map (all right, I'm on a roll too ). Really, Belgium, and most countries around here, apart from France, wasn't into rap at all. Now there's nothing else on tv  I don't think Eminem has made rap as revolutionary as, say 2pac, but he certainly has done something for it.

Futurama or the simpsons?
Who does not know The Office? And I was very, very pleasantly surprised to see that Extras was at least as good as The Office. Ricky Gervais, rock on!

Lesser Known Bands
Radio-wha? *cough  * My favourite bands (don't even have to add lesser known, they're mostly Belgian bands so err, yeah) are dEUS, Soulwax, Daan, Absynthe Minded and Sioen. Any non-Belgians who know these bands? Oh and, Sigur Ross (Iceland) is in a weird way fantastic.

What would you best compare good Music with?
So here I was, playing on my drums yesterday, just jamming a little with a CD of Placebo, and all of a sudden I thought: hey, good music is just like a great meal! At first I was going:  about it, but I kept thinking of it and noticed the similarities. Music has to suit your taste perfectly, every beat of the drums, every vibration of the guitars, every word and every pause between them. They all combine and form this wonderful song, much like ingredients of a mouthwatering meal do. If a little salt is needed, the cook adds a little salt where he wants it. In a song the drummer, the guitarist and the lead singer could be considered the cooks and the add a vibration here, a beat there, until a song becomes just perfect. Call me a hippy for comparing those 2 irrelevant things, to me music is one of the things in life I can really take pleasure in, and who does not enjoy a great meal? So here's my question: what would you guys compare with music? Is there anything you can compare with it or is it just an unnamed feeling you can't really describe?

Futurama or the simpsons?
The Simpsons deserve more credit IMHO; it's amazing how the show is still entertaining on one of the highest levels of American humor after so long. A show can be better, no doubt (Im thinking of Family Guy), but the question is; would those shows be able to fill 15 years with great comedy? I doubt it. So my vote goes to the Simpsons.

Se7en (*spoilers*)
Really? I think Spacey suited the role just fine, since he looks more like an 'average' person who is just sick of modern society. Christopher Walken is more a character for the bad guy with 'style' in my opinion. Yea, I thought Kevin Spacey did very well, he always seemed to be a zombie; no feelings, no expression except a faint smile now and then, some one that would give me the creeps.
