Lol, I thought of exactely the same thing. Actually right now I'm listening to Bends, the album 'my iron lung' is on. Anyway, good luck with your band steve; if you happen to live in Belgium, in the regions of Brussels, I play some mean drums ;)
  2. I just saw the movie and I'm thrilled, the end is just so... shocking yet so predictable that it made me sick. It's as if john doe (the serial killer) has written the scenario himself, so scaringly perfect. As soon as that van came driving down the dusty road, I just knew exactely what was going to happen even though I had no idea it was a delivery van. Only Envy and Wrath weren't 'assasinated' yet so I already thought that john would be killed out of wrath and I figured that this would most likely be because of the killing of David's wife. Somehow I thought it would end entirely differently and end with David killing himself, didn't happen and thank God for that because it would ruin the whole masterpiece to Hollywood junk (which would be: hero not doing what is expected for a mortal man but chosing justice above normal feelings of hatred). What did you guys think about it? And finally: which movie do you prefer: Hannibal (the 2 movies) or Se7en?
  3. I've seen it and I have no clue what the hell you're talking about; Neo does not even die...
  4. Ya, Muse are experts in those exhilerating intros; there isn't a single other band that can make me play air-guitar as convincing as Muse. One of my other Muse fav's is Plug In Baby, that solo... yummie. The army marching opening fading out into the intro of Apocalypse Please is also sublime.
  5. Trilogy ;) My vote would've gone to Quest for The Holy Grail, but Lotr is second because I'm pretty much fascinated by the books and the films all represented the athmosphere of the books very well, it was, IMO, in some parts even better than the books.
  6. I read 1gbps to 1.6tb = 1600seconds = 26.6666666..... Min. That seems ridiculously fast, it just depends on your disc drive, not on your CD. Right now it's not even more than 5mB right?
  7. I've been told that that 2 years ago by my prof of Informatics ;) He told us that it's very simple; a disc can be read by the laser in different angles because there can be more 'layers' of bit storage, DVDs already have 2, the next generation might have hundreds ad you stated. I guess the picture speaks for itself :)
  8. I remember that I always used to listen to Machine Head (heavy metal) while pking  But that was 4 years ago :?
  9. I'm a little disappointed in theirl last album, sounds a wee bit childish to me. But I've always liked Greenday and I most likely always will.
  10. Me, myself and I ;) Naa, this is my top 3: 1/ Dave McClain (Machine Head) 2/ Dave Grohl (especially in his Nirvana period) 3/ Lars Ulrich I don't even really like metal, but Lars Ulrich and McClain are just awesome. Check thisout if you want to hear the beats of Dave McClain!
  11. Aah, they're all so fantasticly hilarious. Hard to choose but from the films: The quest for the Holy Grail: The scene where King Arthur desperately tries to convince the citizens of the 'anarcho-syndicalist commune' that he is the King of England, that they are English and that he was given the right to be the king because of that watery tart who lobbed a scimitar at him  The part where the Knights who say NI! show up, the part where they demand... ANOTHER SHRUBBERY! and where they have to cut down the mightiest tree in the forest... with a herring! Lol, that was hilarious, especially the dramatic music. The moment when this mighty demonic enchanter reveal his name... Tim! cranked me up too, it's those simple jokes, those things you do not expect that make the movie, in fact all of the movies, so great. The part where Galahad is at last seduced by the women in the castle of Anthrax (lol) and where he finally gives in to their wishes when all of a sudden Launcelot hops in and gets him away. Galahad tries to convince him he can take them on single-handed etc. but Launcelot (Cleese, my favourite) thinks it's too perilous and leads them away. Galahad then silently says 'I bet you're gay' and walks away... I like the bunny scene as well, but what was going to happen was kinda predictable. About the life of Brian: I just love the scene where those women with those fake plastic beerds all yell and are eager to knock the poor old skinny man down with their rocks. The supervisor (Cleese again) tries to calm them down but ends up getting stoned (all right, that sounded weird) himself. The scene where Brian gets persued by the horde of fans, falls into this pit where a weird old man has been keeping his mouth shut for 19 years and lands on the man's feet, causing him to shout it out, disrupting his silence is also marvelous. There's a whole lot more of that fantastic stuff but I don't feel the urge to write all good jokes of MP down. I'd still sit here next week ;)
  12. That is just hilarious. OK, they can play some guitar, but I doubt they have more than a few braincells. This is a videoclip that a 10 year old boy would make, not adult metalheads.
  13. John Cleese, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam from Monty Python's Viggo Mortensen Sean Connery Uma Thurman (yeah, actress, I know) Tom Hanks Ian McKellen Jim Carey Billy Boyd (very convincing in Lost) Johnny Depp
  14. I remember him from all the records my dad has, I like listening to the Beatles as well. Lennon was a bit of a weirdo IMHO, he never really adapted himself to the band. But maybe that has got to do with Yoko Ono as well.
  15. Favourite band: Too hard to make a true choice but: Nirvana just to say something. Favourite guitarist: Jimi Hendrix, probably just because he was this image that no one can ever surpass.

Hmmm, kay, so far for his 15 minutes of shame... But, yes, PSP movies are great quality, that's what they're known for.
  17. You really try too hard. All the posts I read from you are filled with either lies or exaggerations. But why the hell do I actually care. More important matters than some i-net junkie pretending to be a girl.
  18. Homer... full of wisdom
