Or maybe they secretly care but won't admit to it, who knows ;) As long as they're having fun with what they're doing, it shouldn't matter. I care just about enough to not have stopped playing after Jagex clearly shifted towards making profit at all costs since MMG taking over and the Gowers (who really had a reason to be emotionally attached to the actual game) apparently stepping down as directors, most updates started to be aimed at gaining one time subs (that will not be permanent, as shown by website traffic engines) instead of keeping a healthy game for existing player base. What ever happened to the Gowers' zero bot and cheat tolerance policy, and just the general ideas of gaining a temporary subscription spike with bonus xp weekends, wilderness etc that just die down the next month but leave the game in a worse state than before. They seem to have dismissed the idea of RS simply being a good game as a reason to play, and it's definitely losing the touch it once had. My play style is a lot more casual than it used to be though. I find clicking the game not a very high priority if there is something more interesting going on, I don't have any goals set within a specific time frame, I really enjoy solving Elite clues (shame they're too rare) etc. This page must be the most interesting page I've read so far on this thread. I completely agree with you on Gowers -> MMG and your play style. I am surprised, I guess, that you among other top players post here, it was very rare before this thread. I honestly thought every famous person lived under a rock and sent their spies to check tip.it and other forums. :P

That's one of the best views I've seen on the topic of the supposed Runescape "community" :thumbup: I couldn't agree more. Bravo! =D>
