This wasn't funny when it was on TV. It's a lot less funny now that you've typed it all out.

This thread's been good for a laugh. It's a bunch of kids who know squat arguing with other kids who know squat about who knows more. Everyone regroup and come back when you've actually booked a show. Most of you probably haven't even been to a show, I'm sure. By the way, The Sex Pistols are terrible. They weren't even a legit band, they were a boy band. A guy named Malcolm McLaren put the band together with the intention of promoting his clothing line.

Bad Religion's lyrics are so ambiguous they're laughable.

I honestly like the idea of putting the strap on Rey. He's a solid worker and he's over as hell right now. That said, I pity the booker who has to write angles and work out matches that keep Rey credible as a champ. And I hate HHH.

The end is predetermined. They know before they walk down the aisle who wins. Most moves aren't planned but bigger spots are. For example, RVD's frog splash off the ladder at WrestleMania wasn't planned but Shelton Benjamin's springboard onto the ladder was.

What you're forgetting is that vivisection is a multimillion dollar industry, and multimillion dollar industries don't just go away. I could go into all the reasons animal testing doesn't work if you'd like. My question for you is then how do we determine which animals deserve higher levels of rights than others? And if you believe that animals have the right to live free of disease, shouldn't they also simply have the right to live? Cows are already considered domesticated animals, as are chickens, sheep etc. I find it interesting that you can draw a line of distinction between these groups when deciding which group is acceptable as food. If you can recognize the evolutionary scale here, can you also recognize that now humans have evolved PAST the stage where we need to kill to survive? We no longer need meat in our diets. Can you show me some data on that? I'm very interested in seeing a study that concludes that every species fights for advancement. I think what you're calling "deliberately hampering progress" I'm calling "evolving past my need to kill to eat". You see the difference there? I don't think it's unfair in the least. Dogs still need to depend on meat to survive, humans don't. I never once suggested that' date=' quite the opposite in fact. I blatantly stated that I felt nature was going to put us in our place. The difference being that animal dwellings work with nature. Human cities don't.

I think that's a pretty skewed view of "rights". I can think of many things, people, and places that have rights that wouldn't attack if you violated them. It's a matter of ethics however. If you know something's wrong, you just don't do it.

I disagree. I haven't eaten meat in 5+ years, and in that time, I've had to think about my reasons every day. I stopped consuming animal products at 19. I couldn't justify murder and torture anymore. I think animal testing is outrageous. Study after study after study has shown that animal testing is no longer needed in labs, but many companies continue to do it anyway because that's the way they've always done it. Ian, you made an interesting contradiction when you said "the only way we will further our own species is to treat ourselves with superiority to the animals we share the planet with". The fact is, it's not up to us to further our own species, that's a ludicrous idea. That's best left up to nature, and everytime we go to far, nature puts us in check. We share a planet with these animals, and the key word here is share, some of them have been here longer than we have. What I'm saying is, we don't need meat, animal we don't need animal testing. We do these things out of selfishness and greed. This system that we've adopted though, isn't going to be sustainable for much longer. Between, mad cow disease and avian flu, I think nature's about to put us in check again.

The difference between Owen Hart and Dalip Singh is that Owen was a phenomenal worker who made a mistake. Almost anyone who's seen Singh work says he's not great. There's also a HUGE difference between hurting someone and killing them. Austin lived, Ong didn't.

I disagree with you on all counts. They made the hardcore division a joke. I never liked what they did with it. I also like the split roster. Without the roster split, guys like Shelton Benjamin and the entire cruiserweight division would get buried under 20 other guys no one cares about. As for Dalip Singh, I don't even know where to begin. He's a TERRIBLE worker. He's injured a few guys already through his carelessness. Most notably he injured Brian Ong during a botched spinebuster and Ong later died. He shouldn't be back in a ring ever.

I came here to post the exact same thing. I catch myself listening to alot of Iron Maiden also.

Are you serious? Ugh. I'm not big fan of Vonnegut (although I do like John Irving, who's often compared to Vonnegut) but I'd take him over Hemingway any day of the week. Hemingway was so sexist I find it hard to understand how anyone could enjoy him. Women were simply objects to Hemingway. Their only real purpose was to bring the men slippers and drinks and light their cigars.

It takes coordination, but it's entirely possible.

Hey guys, if you don't like wrestling, perhaps you should find another thread to post in. That said, this was without a doubt the worst WrestleMania I've ever seen. WrestleMania has always been about quality workrate and excellent matches. This year, every single match was a gimmick match, with the exception of a few matches, most were well below the standard we've come to expect from WM. Finlay and Lashley had no business being in the Money in the Bank match. They let Ric Flair take a bump that legitimately hurt him. The only really great spots in the entire match belonged to Shelton Benjamin. That springboard onto the ladder was nuts. The Edge/Foley match was NOT the best for either of them. I remember ECW, I remember legit hardcore wrestling, I also remember when the WWE ruined it. Hardcore wrestling used to be about more than just "let's see what I can hit a guy with". The finish was boring and predictable. The only good things about the HHH/Cena match were HHH's entrance, The closeup of CM Punk during Cena's entrance and the crowd booing Cena's lack of real ability. Guys, WWE is complete and utter crap. Raw and Smackdown stopped being wrestling shows when McMahon hired former Hollywood writers (including one of the guys who used to write Friends) to write storylines. I still can't figure out why I keep watching, although I usually just record it to DVR and fast forward through most of it. If you want REAL traditional wrestling, TNA is on every Saturday night. Yeah, the storylines and production quality don't measure up to the WWE, but that's not what wrestling has ever been about. Or download some matches from guys like Kenta Kobashi or Hayabusa.

Krazyck, are you sure you don't have stairs in your house?
