Distracted

Holy crap, the last two weeks were fun. First a week and half camp in the south of France with wonderful people and awesome people, then right afterwards my friend held a birthday party.

I first did that when I had only 250 or so songs, and then afterwards made sure to immediately label any new songs I add immediately. Good, since I'd go insane if I had to label 750 of them... I'm leaving for a week, going to a sort of camp around the south of France. Here's hoping it'll be fun.

What I'm wondering is what the [bleep] is an alligator doing in a pet shop? You can actually buy that as a pet and take it home?

That moment at three in the morning when I know I should be going to bed but I'm too lazy to stand up.

I live at the Belgian coast, right in the middle of the coastline in a town called Ostend. It's indeed an awesome place to live.

Yesterday was a bit of an adventure. In the afternoon, we went to this mostly abandoned industrial terrain. We went inside an enclosure and into an old building that was mostly broken. Inside, we saw a literal pile of [cabbage], we walked on and went upstairs, I got spooked by a kitten (holy crap, a black kitten sitting in a building like that, staring at you while you're on edge because you're doing something you're not supposed to, that's scary as hell), then we got spooked by a pigeon (yeah, we get spooked easily) and then we saw what we presume was the source of the pile of [cabbage]: a dragon. Just kidding, we looked outside and saw a bunch of people coming out from under a boat (yeah, don't ask me how). We got spooked again and decided to quickly get out of there, before they found our bikes and got pissed off or something. Seems that the place is inhabited by illegal immigrants/homeless people. Damn shame, we felt so adventurous when we first got in. Anyway, afterwards we played a soccer match on the beach, then later at night we did a bit of a bar crawl, and discovered this incredibly laid back jazz café, we'll certainly pass by there when there's a live band (the bartender said there are weekly live shows). Like Duff, I woke up with this typical morning-after feeling. We ate a small bite, played some LPB and then I went home, took a long bath and then ate as much as I could eat because I was starving. All in all, had a lot of fun. I think I'll be working tomorrow, I'll only know by tomorrow but they're predicting decent weather for tomorrow, and I think my boss will take a risk on tomorrow anyway since it's been like a week since we worked.

I slept for13 hours last night, woke up at 2 pm. Felt great to do, but I kinda feel crappy now...

Do you work as some sort of lifeguard? Or do you sell ice cream on the beach? :P That would suck. How do you ever get together with your friends with that [cabbage] going on all the time? I work in a shop where they make ice cream to sell on the beach. And I honestly haven't met up with friends for ages, it's really annoying living day by day like this.

My job depends on the weather: if the weather isn't good enough for people to go to the beach and eat ice cream, I don't go to work. Which really sucks, because we've been having bad weather for maybe a week and I've barely worked since then, and I really want money. Also, I only know if I have to go to work at the very last minute (like, a minute before I left to go to work today, I received a message telling me to stay home), which makes any kind of planning impossible. Don't get me wrong, I like my job, but those things really annoy me.

Simple, lift them up and feel which one's empty.
