  1. Indeed, that's what I do most of the time. It's a good way to improve finger dexterity and speed, since you'll probably keep on pushing yourself to play faster and better.
  2. There is actually such a thing as laser surgery which you can have performed to remove the need to wear glasses, so in a way, that's possible in today's world. I wouldn't procrastinate at all. I feel like it's kinda ruining my life that I keep on delaying everything to the last minute. I also would somehow enjoy studying.
  3. Reverse smilies, like (: . What the hell's the point? It's just annoying because it makes me have to stop to make sure I'm not reading the smiley wrong, and it's not like it looks better or something.
  4. Holy crap, I didn't know Chester had such a vocal range, that's amazing. I'm listening to Led Zeppelin III.

I've been (re)discovering a lot of music lately, some classics like Hendrix and Led Zep, but also some modern bands I've never gotten the chance to really look into like Biffy Clyro, the Black Box Revelation and BLS' new album. So far, summer's been real good, lovin' it.
  6. The Black Box Revelation's .
  7. A Film With Me In It: an Irish movie about the guy with probably the worst luck in the world. Was actually pretty good. Shutter Island: holy crap, what a good movie. Brilliant acting, very well thought out and nicely filmed, it's the kind of movie you just don't expect Hollywood to be making anymore. Was also one of the few movies of which I really liked the ending.
  8. I think I might kinda say the same, except I was more of a lurker back then so I doubt anyone would actually recognize me, but I recognize the rest.

Not really. It's less inconspicuous than earbuds, sure, but nothing really wrong with it. Sure as hell beats playing your music on loud speakers or something. And ukulele? Awesome :P Did you buy it or just play it in a shop or something?
  10. A guy I know has "CEO of Apple Inc." as his job status...
  11. Where the hell did mine go? :s Edit: nevermind, it was in the middle of the ocean for some reason :P
  12. Let me just chime in as a not-old timer and say I thought the topic title was referring to veterinarians. Carry on.
  13. Let Me In. Was some kinda coming-of-age-film, with gritty vampires and a great atmosphere. Was pretty good, but I thought the ending was a bit disappointing.
  14. Black Holes & Revelations.

I play the guitar, have been doing it for about a year and a half now, and some drums, though I don't actually have one of my own. Oh well, a table and some imagination make for a decent substitute :P
  16. Indeed, only 3 so far on mainland Europe compared to 8 on the British Isles alone. I knew there were few, but not this few?

Lucky, was it a QOTSA concert? What was there set list like? Yeah, it was a QOTSA concert. They started with Feel Good Hit, played most of their more famous songs (No One Knows, Little Sister, 3s and 7s, Go with the Flow, etc), some that are a bit less famous (The Fun Machine Took a [cabbage] and Died, Better Living Through Chemistry) and I honestly cannot remember which song they finished with, which is a damn shame. Slept long till 1 pm today. Damn, it's been many years since I've done that.
  18. Muse's Hysteria. Woke up with it stuck in my head already.

Where was it, if I may ask?
  20. Even if they did, it wouldn't have helped, I fell asleep while listening to music, so it'd have to be one hell of a noise to have woken me up.
  21. That awkward moment when you wake up in a train realizing you've been snoring for half an hour and everyone's staring at you.

Short sleep last night, it was raining and I was in a tent, got perhaps 5 hours of sleep. Afterwards, I chilled around a bit with my friend and left back home at around 14:30, arriving home at about 18:00. Tired, but damn it, the show was awesome. At one point, Josh Homme was talking to a girl who was holding up a sign that said "Josh, I wanna make it wit chu <3". "You're pretty. I'd love to go get a drink with you after the show, but I can't since I don't drink anymore. I don't drink any less either, you know." and he takes a few sips from a bottle of vodka. Too bad their show was a bit early, but Linkin Park played later and everyone was singing along to their more famous songs (In The End, Numb, Closer, etc). Then later discovered an awesome band: Hurts. All in all, that was great fun.

Later today I'll be getting my school results. I haven't gotten a call from the school, which is a good thing, since that pretty much means I've passed, but I'm still pretty nervous. And then afterwards I'm going to this. For free. I'll only be staying on Thursday, but those are three of my favorite bands playing.

How does that work? Usually eating too much food and then working out is a bad idea, but I can't see how not eating would make you throw up... It's basically the combo of not having breakfast and the heavy exercise which makes your body go crazy on you. I've honestly no idea why it happens biologically, I just know that it does. Today is hot, OT. I'm going to the beach later, had a great start to my summer.
