Wii FPS
Wow, that game looks great. Too bad it's only coming out on March.

Wii FPS
Hmm, I have MOH:H2 on PSP, I really enjoyed it, and on peaks about 250 people are online, but I'd rather buy a new game then get the same game twice. There's Resident Evil on Wii? Ooh, this one has gotten my attention. Hmm, The Conduit? Never heard of it, any other info on it?

Another PS3-related question.
Ah, I checked and it has 2 of 'em, thanks. So will that be what I'll use to connect a PS3 to my TV?

Wii FPS
I'm looking for a decent FPS to keep me busy 'till X-Mas, and I'd really like to try that genre on Wii, since it looks like fun. Preferably with WFC. So any suggestions for that genre on the Wii? I've been thinking about CoD5

Another PS3-related question.
I have another question, added it into my first post.

The Sims 3.
Well there are Sims 2 games for PS2 and Xbox, idk what other consoles though. A game that kept me busy for a while was Sims Bustin' Out for PS2. It was really good, with nice customization (is that a word) for your Sim and such. Too bad it was too hard to maintain a pretty high number of friends while keeping your Sim well-fed and such. Hope this'll become easier with Sims 3.

What ticks you off most in a video game?
Nope, you're not the only one. I also dislike it when you get a console early and then a few weeks later a cool updated version of it comes out...

The Sims 3.
That game looks awesome. Don't know what exactly keeps me playing the Sims, but I hope it comes out on a few consoles beside the PC, since mine is almost full... =/ I like making a couple, killing of one with fire, then griefing the other to death.

Another PS3-related question.
To clarify, the MotorStorm bundle was from 2007, Pacific Rift came out last month. The last bundle was the MGS4 bundle, and only those 80GB models had PS2 backwards compatibility. And after looking around, the 250GB model was just a rumor/joke, so I don't know if future PS3's will have bacwards compatibility with PS2 games.. Ok, thanks, that clears everything up for me.
-
Another PS3-related question.
Wow, Caxis, your post cleared things up. And I think the 80GB is in a pack with MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, according to commercials. Thanks to everyone for answering.

Another PS3-related question.
Alright, thanks to everyone below that answered the previous question, but I have another question for if I get a PS3. It's not directly related to it, but enough to be asked here: Does HDready equal HD? Does that mean I can watch HDTV with an HDready tv? It's just that I'm confused by that name. If this doesn't belong here anymore, feel free to move it. I just thought it wasn't worth making a new thread in Tech 'n Comp for it...

Kid Kills Himself Recreating Halo
Ridiculous... Blaming a game for a kid shooting himself? How far-fetched does that sound... It is not reckless if the parents have the common sense to actually hammer the safety rules into their skulls and never let them have a gun without adult supervision, and it is the parents fault for the lack of teaching the kid common sense. Kids these days would probably do less stupid [cabbage] if parents would start using physical punishment, aka smack their kids [wagon] once in a while. Physical punishment is not a good idea. The kids will get scared of the parents, they'll never feel comfortable at home, and in the worse cases might even get traumatized, which will then lead to other problems. Sure. Kids are [developmentally delayed]ed, they don't think and they don't hear a thing parents are saying. Yes, I'll admit, some kids are like this, but that's like saying all Germans are racist because Hitler and a few others were. Oh, and I don't think a kid that gets run over thinks "Oh looky, a car. Let's cross the street and hope nothing happens." Drivers are irresponsible too, and they are the cause of a lot of accidents and people getting run over. And kids aren't the only people getting run over, adults get hit by cars too. So yeah.

That kid that went to your school.
2 years ago, Patty. Well, I don't know where to start with her. =/ First of all, she smelled like 3 cats died on her while she was taking a crap. It was horrible, me and my friends would try to avoid her in any way possible. Her mom was like a female version of Hagrid, she usually smelled like sigarettes and sometimes alcohol. I remember once she had a birthday party, and me being me, felt sad for her and convinced my mates to come. Luckily there were some girls there too, so we weren't lonely. It was one of the most awkward moments in my life! I swear. I came in and saw that I was third after my two friends. So we all sat there in her small, smelly appartment and didn't do anything. We sat there silently for at least 2 hours, or at least, that's what it felt like, in reality it was probably less then 15 mins. On the radio there was some bad news, so I just had to break the silence in one of the most stupid ways. "Jeez, that's not really nice news to have on your birthday.", she replied: "It's not my birthday today, it's in a week.", then silence struck 'till some girls arrived and we played some dumb games to kill time. She has a sad story, her father... I never heard anything about him, and her mother... I think she was alcoholic. Her mother died this year, I think she's living with her grandmother now. I hope she's doing good =/ Hmm, and this year, I think it's me. And a few other kids ofcourse... But I'm like the classclown, the kid that gets good grades but sometimes has his dumb moments. The one that'll do a lot... Like this one time, before PE, in the dressing room... I started randomly dancing. My friends suddenly laughed harder, so I danced a bit more. Then I heard someone clearing their throat behind me. "Oh [cabbage]" was the only thing in my mind then, it was my PE teacher who has the annoying habit of popping up behind you when you're doing weird things. It's hilarious, he's one of my favorite teachers. Oh, and one more girl, Lara. This year too. She's probably one of the 'smartest' in our year. Well, I don't really call her smart, she just hammers all the data into her head, which makes her know it. But IMO that doesn't mean you're smart, it just means you're good at studying. She... well, where do I start... She studies way too much, like I said, and she also just tries too hard. She laughs at any joke by any teacher, and she'll do anything for any teacher, she's basically the definition of a goody-two-shoes. There's a girl a bit like her, but not as extreme, but still pretty extreme. Her story is weird... Uhm, rumour has it that her father killed her mother, then locked her up in the basement and hung himself up, although I don't believe any of it. She doesn't live with her parents though, but I don't think it was that extreme. And I did some googl'ing on her name, and she was only in one newspaper article, which didn't relate to her parents at all.

That statement is mostly true, but what you didn't include is the fact that you get experience while getting the tickets. I leveled from level 53-59 getting about 750 tickets. The Agility Arena might not have the best experience on RS, but it's way less monotonous(sp) then normal Agility training, and it's a nice break from normal agility training.

Hmm, wow. Let's start with your first suggestion... Well, the thing is, I can't really tell you how many tickets you get per hour, but what I can do is tell you how frequently the spot changes, which I think is 1 minute (I'll check that, I'm going there soon anyway). The thing is, if you miss a pillar, you need to tag 2 to get 1 ticket. Which will make such an estimate hard to make. I CAN give you a maximum amount per hour, and maybe I'll be able to know more from that number. The second suggestion however... Is amazingly hard to figure out. You never know where the next pillar will be, and you never know what kind of obstacles (if any), you'll use to get there. I remember once having 3 tickets very easily, because there was always just 1 obstacle between the last pillar and the next one. I also remember missing about 4 in a row because they always appeared somewhere on the other side of the arena. In other words, I'll give the first idea a try, and I'll work on it, but the second idea'll be too hard. And, I think tip.it has a calc where you put in your route and it'll tell you how much xp it'll give you.
