Is God real post your thoughts!
I don't doubt what people saw and I can't explain it, but can you see how 'saw outline of Mary' to 'Christian God exists' is an odd jump? What if it had been the outline of the Buddha or Muhammad - Would that have convinced you that those religions were right? Well, St. Mary isn't just a random person... She is the mother of Jesus Christ, and she wasn't chosen randomly. She appeared on the St. Mary's church. But let me ask you. If St. Mary or Jesus would appear to you, and you would clearly see them, wouldn't this convince you that there is a God, and maybe encourage you to read the bible or do some research? I accept that Muhammad and Buddha were real persons, but that doesn't mean I think those religions are right.

I looked up the images too, and I don't like the way they looked. They just didn't seem quite right. But also human beings saw them. My grandfather is a very trustworthy person, I know he's not lying about this. And I doubt all those other millions of people that saw it are lying too. Or the ones that were miraculously healed. If you choose to be blind to the evidence, go ahead. I won't try to further convince you that it's real, everyone has a freedom to believe in whatever they want to believe in.

Does conventional logic, in that case, work if you don't have a baseball? What else do you do? Without having a baseball? That's a lie, so are we now saying that religion is a lie? Now we're getting somewhere... Then that first comic has no relation with this thread. The problem is, we can't take God physically and show people that he is there. So, what do we do? How do we use "conventional logic" to prove God exists? Physical proof, but no really some proof, visual proof. Not per sé god himself but a divine sign that could convince one. There is nothing but a book left which is -probally- written by a person whom was tripping on mescaline. The religious logic is just wrong. The churches, what has MONEY to do with The All Mighty, God, jah, The Lord. It is all based on corruption and false information. Many people have been killed because of what? Something fantasized; religion. Now if you want to, you can look up the images, but the 1968 cameras aren't really of the best quality... Now you can't tell me this is a hoax, in 1968 there was no technology to project the image on the church dome, and my own grandfather has seen it, and I trust him enough to know he's not lying (and especially about things such as this). In western society, (most) people don't even think about God. You just do one thing, hurry to get to something else, then go back to sleep. In a religious country, where religion is an everyday part of life, miracles happen, maybe even on a daily basis. I'm not talking about big apparitions or people rising from the death, but small simple things. Like a woman that really wanted to fast, but her doctor told her she shouldn't because of a stomach problem. Ofcourse she was sad and prayed in the hope that God would help her. And surely she dreamt of Jesus telling her she could fast, and the next day she went to the doctor and the problem that would've taken months to heal, was gone. Even in conversation people will say something like "If it wasn't to St. * I wouldn't be standing here/wouldn't be talking right now/..."

Guess the Game
Dude, that game looks strange... Bombs and stars in a game with dinosaurs? o.O

The Gaza Strip
Tbh, I'm agreeing with the others when I say that no one likes discussing this stuff. It's not because you choose not to follow every single step of the war that you live in your own dreamland Utopia; it just means you're sick of hearing about war day in day out.

The best science?
I'd go with biology. It's just that knowing how the body works and such really interest me. I won't become a doctor though, like most of my family.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
6 PS3 games which were bundled with the system, of which Resistance 2 is the one I've been playing the most (over 50 hours by now).

Resistance : Retribution - coming spring '09
Actually, this game looks quite good. The fact it's 3rd person doesn't seem negative to me, since you'll see your character take over automatically each time he reaches something that he can take cover behind. You'll automatically turn around the corner and shoot if you want to, so you can aim while in cover, which is impossible in FPS's. Also, there'll be an Aim Assist feature: when you get to an enemy with the crosshair (the thing that shows you where you're aiming), it'll automatically guide you a bit further to the enemy. Not sure if this includes Lock-On. And if connected to PS3's Resistance 2 it'll open up a whole new 'infected story mode' from what I've heard. Not sure what this is all about though. So yeah, I'm not sure if I'll buy it, I'll just wait for the price to drop and see then.

People in life who deserve recognition
There's too many. Basically anyone who stood up for what they believe in during desperate or hard times. The ones that dared say "No!" when the rest was forced to say yes. The ones who didn't fear prosecution as long as they helped another. I'm talking about people like Martin Luther King, Mahatma Ghandi, and all those other people which are usually classified under this category. My sister. She's a wonderful person, and even though I can be a real pest she won't give up on me. And the guy who threw a shoe at Bush, because his action caused the world to laugh in the middle of a financial crisis.

Check it.
Same, or stories. Da_Latios can I be in your story? :twss: btw I lost. -.- Am I supposed to name a character "Wongtong"? By the way, yes I am HALF Japanese. My other half is Moldova-Romanian. That'd be very interesting if I "knew" someone off my favorite RuneScape fansite forum who wrote a book, hah. Someone from Forsakenmage's chat DID made a book! I can't remember who it was, or what the book was called though :| Fail Oh, and I lost too -.- It was Salamandoa, and it was something about space... Hmm. Oh and yeah, I do have my own weird idea for a movie sometimes. I'm a daydreamer over day, and a sleeper at night. And yes, I lost too.

The Big Food Index! 140+ foods indexed!Recovered!
Woah, those are a lot of suggestions. Well, if you haven't noticed by my avatar, I retired, so basically I doubt I'll be updating any this... It's just that I'm not in the mood and I know I won't be able to update prices and such frequently. If anyone is interested in taking this over, go ahead and PM me, I'll send you my first post.

Merry Christmas!
Ah, it's been Christmas here for 4 hours (I should go sleep...) Merry Christmas. (or whatever else you celebrate in this period.) I got a PS3 from my parents :D I gave them a Senseo back. (For the uninformed: Senseo is a coffeemachine by Philips, which makes your coffee/tea/hot chocolate quickly and easily)

Those "Holy <beep>" moments in gaming... [possible spoilers]
Hmm, in Resistance 2, the first time you get attacked by a Chameleon or a Furie o.O

Moral Dilemma
Well, the first situation is a bit of a strange one, since they ought to notice the train, even with the earplugs. I'd try to get as close to them as possible, since not only would I have no idea what I'd be doing if I pull the lever but if I shout loud enough, I may get through their earplugs. Also, someone else that's around could pull the lever or something... Now the second one is even tougher. WWII is a dark time, and I'd probably not want to live to see it happen further. I'd sacrifice myself easier in this situation. Following Godess' logic. Here's another one: You work at a bridge where a train passes, that opens and closes. You have a son which you really love, and your wife died years ago. Your son likes watching trains pass, so he frequently comes along when you're in your shack. Usually the bridge is open so the boats underneath can pass. One day you're reading a magazine and not paying attention, while your son is. Your son notices a train is coming while the bridge is open so he's shouting at the top of his lungs. He then accidently falls into a hole, which will squish him if you close the bridge. You don't have enough time to get him out of there and still close the bridge, so you have to choice. By the way: that train has a reputation of having a lot ex-prisoners and people who use drugs and such.

I recently retired so I'm not a member anymore, which means I won't be able to test anything said here, although flsed's strategy sounds very smart and convincing.

What's your New Year's Resolution?
Meh, I just want an 80% average at school, and with this comes another one: stop being so dang lazy... I doubt if you ask someones favorite colour they'll tell you something complex, but more like those 'standard' colours mentioned here before.

Most amount of time you've ever put into a video game?
Hmm, GTA: SA kept me busy for... I think over 100 hours, I'll have to check.

Whats the nastiest thing you've done to someone?
Meh, I injured a guy at soccer... I was frustrated because we were losing, had to vent some anger and kicked the first enemy knee I saw. I did it in a subtle way, so it wasn't even a foul, although I saw the guy getting carried off the field with an icebag on his knee :-#
