I agree, people shouldn't be given special treatment over race, negitive OR positive. Funny thing about racism is that usualy the ones crying racist are the biggest racists themselves. White guy happens to not treat a black man/women like they are royalty, he is automaticly a racist. Because she believes that is a white guy treats him/her bad then it's because he's in the clan. Also other things, like affirmative action, Negro Collage foundation, ect... I don't mean to pick on the black people but it's what comes up at the top of my head, a white/hispanic/asian college foundation would be racist, so why isn't a negro college foundation racist? Black people are no less intelligent than whites or hispanics or even asians Therefore it seems to me like they should stop blaming everything on racism and just get things done. Ignoring race is deffinatly whats needed, labeling people by what they cannot control is always bad. The system can do this easily, but can the people, who are the inherent root of the problem, ignore race.

Yes it is a filter pile lol, And I like the shapes and simple non-objective abstracts you can get with them... I don't intend on using it as a sig, I just want to look at and share techniques for making digital abstracts

Thats digital right? looks like it could be a VERY nice oil pastel or watercolor black drawing paper with a good tooth + oil pastels = heaven

Couldnt you make ze line and use the hand tool to curve it manualy? Not perfect but it works

I havn't had the oportunity to work with GIMP yet, but it's a nice montage. I would stick with rounded edges without the shadow, the shadow is a little much for the average sig

Yeah they make very good backgrounds, really easy to make aswell (with basic knowledge of photoshop)

I am just curious to see how many people enjoy making digital abstracts with photoshop So post your works and maybe describe technique Please, be nice and respect others Advice on improvement is is more than welcome. However, under no circumstances should you flame anothers image for being simple, noobish ect... Preferably, only post completly DIGITAL images, photographs edited into abstracts are nice but it isn't what I am interested in. Example -

In a cavern, yes it will be dark without a light source, but in most cases if there IS a light source the surrounding area regardless of distance form said light source wont be pitch black dark, due to reflection of light off of the walls. Buildings should never be as dark as how you edited them, atleast not in the daytime which is all that matter since runescape is locked in a perpexual daylight (two suns maybe?) Point is, I realize your point, but you darkened the area's to a point that it's no longer realistic and emersive, but instead annoying and irritating. Maybe you just have a heavy brush hand when it comes to photoshop, maybe you meant to make them that dark, I don't know But, buildings shouldn't change, due to plenty of windows, and lots of sunshine caverns could use a psuedo dynamic lighting being not quite realtime but instead static to it's area.

I do appologies for the spam, looking back on it, it wasn't very mature but my point is this, if your not paying anything, then you have no right to be dissapointed. Your playing for free, your not losing anything, stop complaining 200 people out of 20,000 arent going to change thier minds about this, and I don't blame them. I guess since iv been a member for two years (and btw I have to pay for gas and such as well so don't pull the other expenses card, $5 wont kill you if you have time to play a game anyways) I work as an architect, still paying of student loans, and I can afford it. (Can't afford photoshop or flash, but luckily Im a skilled Pirate :]) I understand you want places to put holiday items, and such, but as a free player I cant imagin you having to throw away anything expensive to keep your space... I run out of space as a member lol (although thats because im a packrat, i cleaned out and i have plenty of space now, i had 708 burnt lobs lol) Maybe you should just relook your current bank situation and decide what has to go.
