So you believe in a purely transcendent god?

Hehe, Jainism. [Oh, and stop arguing like a strong atheist who feels some kind of need to rebel against religion; you're an agnostic for God's sake, or at least you say you are, so start acting like one. Apathy ftw.] Meh, maybe it's more of a desire for meaning in life, which the Creator [or an imaginary one, either works] can fulfill.

~ Best Home Gyms? ~
Guess that's just a personality difference. I don't think I'd go to the gym very often, even if I bought a membership [especially if the drive exceeded fifteen minutes, if it was shorter I might use it more], but that's just me :P . And again, I can see I'm not perfect and need to train more at home just fine, so that's just another personality difference :P . So, ya, guess it just depends on your workout preferences more than anything else, as self-evident as that may be : .

Uncertainty Principle, yes QM is weird, but just because it is is no reason to try and disregard it's theorem's. :| You can say that's "proof" all you want, but logically speaking, most would agree that it really isn't. Not that I want to get into an argument about it or anything. I, nor anyone here, ever stated the mathematics of the matter "proves" the existence of aliens (in fact, I went to great lengths to make sure it was blatantly obvious I wasn't saying that); it just explains the odds. If you want a link to information about it, see venomai's post (thank you dude).

Figuring out a Physics problem that's been bothering the hell out of me. Doing a Tricking move right, especially for the first time (even if it's really rough on the first one done correct). First time I landed a ground-level front flip, it was enough to keep me ecstatic for a week. Good music. [goes well with Tricking] Kicking someone peoples' [bleep] at Ghost Recon 2, especially if they're some arrogant little 14-year old prats. Nothing like shutting the opposition down with a 25-6 personal score in Sharpshooter at Shoreline :-w . [k245 btw] Gettin' my frikkin' homework done. Learning about something that interests me, this year being Quantum Physics, Kanji/Nihongo, and Latin (which I know, but am learning more of to properlly use the language). And of course, currently the best of 'em all, the 24-year old beauty co-worker with looks past a 10 and a personality even higher flirting with me and making me want to go to work sometimes for no other reason than just to see her  .

Really? There's nothing better for getting amped for exercise like knowing the exercise machine(s) are right in your home, ready to go. I've got a couple machines at home (well, mostly just weights and a bench press, and something to help with dips and leg lifts), and without them, I probably wouldn't work out nearly as much as I currently do. Having to go drive to a gym just to work out for a bit, to have to try and fit that into your schedule... it's a real hassle. If you can spare the cash (and space) to get a few machines at home, do it :) .

Well, considering we can track electrons and examine particles, um... :-s . But the problem here is that there is no proof for it in the first place. Mathematically speaking, the odds that there isn't other [intelligient] life in the universe are so slim that it would be incredibly hard to believe that we're alone, unless there was some unknown reason for it. That's kind of just filling in the gaps, which, mind you, are getting filled up more and more as time goes by. There will probably always be room for religion filling in the "why" though, so I suppose you've got that. Heh, suppose that's true :P . Well then, you've been hanging around with the wrong atheists :-w .

Signature previewing
Or they could just implement the feature  -_-" I've always used the preview-post method for viewing my sigs before I put them in, and it takes about the same time, if not less, than what ya'll are suggesting. It's so unbearably easy to do, I can't believe ya'll actually need something as useless as this coded. Yes, I know this is the age of lazyness and Sloth, but for god's sake, it's not that hard, even for this pack.

the wonderful world of...anime
She did die. Raito wrote in the Death Note that she would commit suicide (which makes sense considering her fiance recently passed away), and once he got her name right she immediately went to hang herself as soon as the time matched that written on the torn piece of the Note. The reason he killed her was not because she was evil (one could actually argue that she's the good guy here) but because she had information that would make targeting Raito as the true Kira easy for the investigation team. That is, if they got her information/viewpoint, Raito would be screwed. This is when the viewer begins to further understand Raito- as L stated, he hates to lose. He won't let anything get in his way, and cares little for the lives of others if they get in the way of his goals. Later in the anime you'll see he'd even go so far as to kill his own family if it meant avoiding being pinned as Kira (not saying if he does or does not).

Hint: That piece of paper Raito was holding was holding was torn out of the Death Note. 'Nother hint: He needs a name and a face to kill. He already had the face, so...

the wonderful world of...anime
Oh, definitely. The choreography of their movements is awe-inspiring enough to keep the anime among the best all on its own. It makes you wonder what Kendo masters the company had to hire to make those kind of fight scenes, they're so amazingly thought out and depicted. Oh, and it never lets up- all the fights are just as good, if not better, than those of the first episode. They continually just make you wonder, "was he thinking ten moves ahead, or was that all frikkin' godforsaken impulse!?". I gotta admit though, nearly all of the appeal of the show is fight scenes. The stories are all just too random and spontaneous to keep the viewers attention; everyone's really just waiting for Jean or Mugen to kill somebody :-w .

Sly Wizard, why are you attempting to argue with a strong atheist when there are none here to begin with? Actually, not even strong atheists believe what you're saying. I really don't get who you're trying to argue with here :-s .

Girls in RuneScape
Yes, I am blissfully[ish] ignorant of half of what you've said up to this point, because you don't take the time to explain any of it. Why the heck do you think I asked that question? I'm trying to understand further what you're trying to say. Rather than insulting my ignorance of your opinion when I ask you about it, why not, I dunno, explain it? Oh, and big words don't make the man, so put away the [online thesaurus]/[useless terminology] and start actually talking to us.

This, my friends, is what we call a straw man. Please, do not ever do it, especially when the author using it is as ambiguous about their opinion as this one. Poopingman, if I may ask, why did you come into this topic and say what you did, if you had no intention of implying that this thread held those qualities you mentioned?

Is God real post your thoughts!
I am 14, yes. I guess I have a Christian background, never been to church. (except for weddings and such) Heh, totally random guess : . You've got quite the rebellious attitude. I had that exact same opinion at that age :P .

You're about 14, correct? Got a Christian background?

The Overall Easiest 99 Skill To Get?
Fine, prove me wrong. Give me at least one example where Solidus used circular reasoning on this thread, and defend your case. The purpose of my post was to question your reasons behind attacking Solidus. That is why I'm asking for what you mean by your prior post. It's not an insult, just an inquiry. His only argument*? Have you even read this thread? Solidus has repeatedly argued down every case that has been offered against his knowledge of the topic at hand, namely the ludicrous idea that the costs of a skill have nothing to do with how hard it is to level. He has not attacked thus far; merely defended and explained his [correct] opinion on the matter, with thusfar no opposition that has provided a concrete, good reason for why he has been wrong. You want to see berating? Look up "Flammacor" in the members list, check his posts. That's berating. This is debating. And on back on the topic of you defending your reasoning behind attacking another member, please show me where "[solidus] consistently then told everyone they were wrong when they used the same arguments for other capes", 'cause I'm having trouble finding that one. *Good straw man phrasing by the way. His statement isn't "my cape rocks", it's "expenses are included in the difficulty of a skill, and due to the fact that the Construction cape has a relatively high cost, it is risible at best to try and place it in the category of 'easy skills'".

Misfile
Relatively, yes. There aren't that many webcomics out there, [at least not many good ones], that update a page a weekday. Most I've seen do maybe 2-3, with breaks every once in a while, some even a meager 1 a week. Obviously it feels slow after reading 800 pages in one sitting, but it still moves along very nicely. And are you asking if anyone's read the whole comic thusfar? Er, yes actually, most people on this thread have :P . It kind of helps that a lot of pages are based more on images and text, and generally involve maybe four or so panels [making it so the average page can take only a few seconds to half a minute to read], but ya, we've read the whole thing, many of us straight from beginning to end :P .

Girls in RuneScape
But I see you're trying to start one, you don't want to make me right now, do you? Well, technically speaking the total views reached the level that you mocked before there were any form of flames or major argumentation on this thread, as pointed out by Solidus, so pointlessly baiting right now is not going to help your argument very much.

Eh, you might get confused when Kariya pops up in flashbacks/[something I can't explain], but overal you're not going to miss anything. Still, they aren't half bad, so I don't see why you'd have a major reason to skip out on it, other than just trying to stick the main storyline by Tite Kubo. If you think it's a chore to watch those episodes, fine, skip 'em. Me, being more of an anime fan than a manga one though, would recommend seeing them, even if you watch the fillers after you've caught up with the anime. By the way, there's a sweet triple fight in there between Kariya, Byakuya, and Ichigo. Trust me, it's way too cool to miss.

a) I don't get why everyone has something against the Bleach fillers. They were pretty good if you ask me, even if they did divert from the main story (and if that's what it takes to get some people dead, thank god for it). B) Do you like the manga better, or did you just want to get to the storyline faster? I mean, yes, it's behind (as it should be), but they're finally in Hueco Mundo and getin' some action :P . Personally, I'd love for most of it to be a surprise while watching the anime, but that's just me.
