Jmod quote from RSOF regarding real world trading
:-s So, what exactly is the problem here? Are you saying that the fact that people RWIT is the main reason for the high prices of rare and discontinued items? A correlation and a cause-and-effect scenario are two very different things my friend. If you have any more reasoning for such a claim beyond, "they both went up", then I can not understand the logic behind such a claim. "Influx of gold by illegal means" ? The only major "influx of gold" I can think of is high alchemy. Are you saying that's illegal now? Are you telling me that RWIT generates gold? 'Cause if not, I havn't a clue what you're trying to argue. And for that matter, try and understand that inflation is a general increase in prices. From everything I have ever understood about the game, an increase in gp does not seem to increase prices- most likely because there is no cost for living. The only things that do increase in price are rares, and the main drive behind there increase is rarity, being limited within an expanding community, not RWIT. On the main topic, what exactly does RWIT do to hurt you? Sure, some pompous kid has a party hat, so what? It doesn't effect your playability, it doesn't effect your stats, your character, it doesn't hinder you in any way- what's the problem? You're jealous? Angry? So, over nothing more than emotions, you'd choose to limit your ability to play, by, I don't know, destroying a main aspect of the game? Seriously? [PS]

Jmod quote from RSOF regarding real world trading
You guys are all acting like in this game, if someone else wins, you lose. What the hell? Do you all really care about "unfairness" this much? Play your own game and let them play theres. This game is "win-win", not some sports-"win-lose" game. As for the update itself, idiotic move on Jagex's part. What do you as a player lose by someone else, who you've most likely never encountered in this game, let alone your life, spending their own money to get a bit of cash in the game? Okay, now what do you lose by this update? Genius move Jagex.

the wonderful world of...anime
Trust me, if you're only doing it to avoid subs, if you can't put your heart and soul into it, if you don't have enough free time and drive, don't. Learning a language is hard, learning it on your own is harder. I mean, you'll pick of little things (especially interjections, i.e. "bakana", "urusai!", "baka", "hai!", "gomen", etc.) when watching and listening to subs somewhat intently, but attempting learning the language itself is something that happens a great deal among fans, and to be honest, almost never gets accomplished. But, if you are going to try, go ahead, just make sure to put your heart into it, and make sure as hell not to become a weeaboo. Make damn sure of that.

If you watched the dubbed first, you'd probably say it's better than the subbed :P . [subbed's better]. Lol I actually watched the dubbed first, only for the 1st EP though IIRC. :-k Which L voice did you hear first? His is the only major one I can't stand (though, hearing Aizawa's voice yesterday was pretty bad as well). Ryuk sounds good, Light sounds okay now that I've gotten used to it(needs a bit more insanity in it), and most everything else seems to check out. But L's voice... oi, that just screws the character up completely.

How many languages can you speak?
I know that information- I can read Latin fluently. But to actually speak the language? It's rare to find that taught, and even rarer to find anyone who can actually do it. I mean, if I have time to think I can create phrases fairly easily, but nearly all of what I learned involved translating from Latin to English, almost always that one way. Heh, last year I spent the whole class translating most of Virgil's Aeneid from Latin to English, so I pretty much have little-to-no training whatsoever in the field of English to Latin, for both reading and speaking :( . But I do have to agree with you about the ease- once you understand the structure (it's a little complicated, especially for verbs), nearly every word follows the rules, so there's no real thought needed about where exceptions pop up and where they don't, considering how few there are. It's probably one of the most well structured languages I've ever encountered. Ironically, that's probably one of the main reasons it died  . On a side note, would you say Japanese is hard to learn? And do you think the number of homophones in the languages causes problems when trying to understand it?

How many languages can you speak?
You can speak Latin fluently :-s ? Wait, you know all those languages!? How old are you?!
-
What are you listening to right now!?
TFK - Quicken Verbatim it's "In the time of life". Though, the way Latin phrase translations there's always some weird add-on or misuse of number, so it could easily be stretched by them to be something like "In the time of our lives".

jak, I agree, it's nice using torrents, especially if you start downloading right before bed (mine takes hella long when I download from dattebayo). But if it's up on Stage6, it's not that bad an idea to just save the torrent loading time, find the episode and play it full screen with some of the best quality on the 'net. Though, Stage6 does have one of the worst search engines I've ever encountered, so that can be a bit of a set back if the vid you're looking for is buried :-k .

Does runescape 'do' magic well?
The energy comes from the Other Side of the Gate, duh. You know Runecrafting Altars? They're really timespace-tearing devices (i.e., wormhole generators) which allow connections to the Other Side via being linked directly with The Gate on the level of a newborn child. You as an older human are unable to unlock the Gate within yourself to get to this near limitless supply of energy, but using a medium- such as the Altars- you can gather energy from the Other Side and, with the proper abilities, imbed that energy in a special type of stone. Then, again, with the right abilities, the energy imbedded within a stone can then be released for goal of using what you mortals call "magic". The stones are merely used as a method for storing the energy, as without them one would be unable to properly contain and release the energy without skills far beyond any magicican of the past or present. Duh.

If that was meant to be in Latin, you either have a typo der or they spelled it wrong  . "Tempus", not "temps" :-w . Breaking Benjamin - Diary of Jane.

Beowulf
It's an ancient classic. Of course they're going to screw it up. What the hell? Doesn't she, you know, get royally owned by Beowulf? I'm trying to remember this from a year or two ago, read the whole thing, but I remember her getting killed :-k .

Revenge: An eye for an eye?
Nope, because most people's care cups are only big enough for theirs, their immediate family's and maybe their friends' problems : . Humans aren't bastards (mebe...), they just have limitations on how much they can care for/about certain people. Most people's c[_]'s need a bit of expanding, but eh, we're human.

The Sig Rating Game
The sigs.. okay, kind of bland, and the guy is very pixelated (if it wasn't pixeled, why's it such bad quality? and if it was, it contrasts terribly with the detailed background). 3.9/10

Does anyknow know latin?
I've taken four years of Latin, and I'd give you a translation if not for the fact that I fear you'd actually get a tattoo of that phrase on your body.

Is my teacher mistaken?
1 kilogram ~= 2.2 pounds 60 kilos = ~132 pounds Assuming 60N is roughly 60 kilos (I have no idea the relationship between the 2) then that isn't an unusual mass / weight on Earth. It's 6 kilos not 60. Which, in my error, is more like 13 pounds. Damnit. To the metric system America!
