  1. I love how people throw in "nowadays", as if to somehow say that they weren't like that when they were younger. Or, for most cases, are still currently like that. Kids have always been like that. Kids will always be like that. Your generation, our parents generation, our kids' generation, all kids go through an extended phase of being complete little bastards. Yes, even you, so stop talking like ya'll didn't for Christ's sake. Oh, and that stuff carries through teenage years as well. Honestly, highschoolers, name one single kid in your whole entire grade who doesn't look in the back of the Calculus book every once in a while to know what the answer is before solving the problem. There isn't some line drawn at age [insert the "n-1", n being your current age] where all your kid habits just go away. We all keep the id with us, even into maturity. Sadly, that's why it's not just kids, but nearly everyone who plays- 'cause who in their right mind doesn't want the easiest way out? Problem is, the id has a stronger effect on children, so with a lowering of the average age (which I hope no one denies has happened over the years), yes, Jagex is forced to make the game easier. It's just how updates work, and will continue to work as long as the majority requires easier leveling methods. Guess it's just too bad people are immature bastards, and that they can live up to that [developmentally delayed]ed beast inside of them through the medium of the internet : . Not to attack your points frog, I see little wrong with your analysis overall, in fact I hope my post portrays agreement; this is just a short monologue for the general Tip.it population : .

you cant judge a web comic by some online review try reading a chapter yourself and see how you like it yourself I've read it. I still can't believe I didn't gouge the other eye out.
  3. Seriously, who's mule account is this?^ It's like someone made an account just to post conspiracy information, but not get ridiculed for doing it relentlessly :-k .

Ash did things right for once ._. No blundering, just a perfect read of Emily's feelings for the first time in his life, and a snappy response to catch her right off guard. Is that supposed to happen?
  5. It was different. Cold war without nukes could have been less cold. What  ? If that was supposed to be a joke, uh... :-s .
  6. Oh yes, like war was all that much better before nukes. As has been said, nukes in the right hands prevent war. It's moronic nowadays to try and defeat another powerful country militarily, 'cause if you do, they'll just fire some last ditch weapons and make all that country's efforts worthless. Nukes, however dangerous they may appear, do prevent war. Heck, even if someone did fire one, it wouldn't be war, it'd be instantaneous suicide. :-w
  7. Don't really care to make a big post that no one's going to read about some books I've read, so I'll just say that of the classics I've read (and reading through this thread... I guess I've read more than I thought; can't classify 'em for the life of me), 98% of them were frikkin' weird to read.
  8. I don't understand why everyone measures strength in how much they can bench press :/ I can do 1 arm pull ups, 210+ pounds on the peck fly machine, full range handstand push ups, muscle ups, but I can only bench press 135, but that doesn't mean mean I'm weak, does it? I'm 140 pounds, 6'1. (I wasn't trying to act e-cool, it just baffles me why people think those who can bench press more are stronger.) I could do 30 pull ups when I was in 5th grade. Doesn't mean I was strong (and for that matter, you're mentioning that you can do things, not how many reps you can do. Most guys can do that stuff a couple times, so just saying you can do it doesn't set a bar). I can bench about 130. I would consider myself weak, muscle-wise anyways. Sure, it's not the only measure, but for a universal upper body measurement bench press isn't too bad. And honestly, if you weigh less than me at 6'1" (me being 5'7"), you're probably a little more on the thin than the muscle side. [/please do not continue weight-training tangent ya'll]
  9. Because it doesn't have a definition ^_^. It's like a curse word- people just use it.
  10. Are you muscular, or broad in any way, shape, or form? If so, this thread is even more useless than I thought it was. You're 17. If you don't eat like a pig (hell, most of the time even if you do), you're not going to gain any weight. If you eat half-healthy, you're going to hit your target weight with ease. What are you so worried about 20 pounds over?

It's amazing how much you know about the definition of what anime is. You should get a cookie for that comment. Or a medal. Something to commend for making such an awe-inspiring statement.
  13. Why the heck does he need to have "Spanish ties" to be thematic :-s ?
  14. Forget to pick your laptop up to read the thread before you mounted your high horse?
  15. Make an interesting topic yourself, then whine.
  16. Argue semantics all you want, but this guy's got it right.
  17. If you spend your life trying to make everything perfect, you're going to have one sucky life. Mine is  . Especially when the male:female ratio is about... 1:10, and dwindling \ .
  18. [hide]Ya, "sakujo... sakujo... SAKUJO!" God he loved that line. His character completely changed into insane primal beast at the end of the anime though, like out of nowhere o_O. Yes, the Japanese are perfect when it comes to insanity ^_^.[/hide] Hide tags are fun.

  20. He's either: a) A psychopath or B) really bad at being manipulative.
  21. Err, you're two episodes in, and no matter how much praise you've heard about an anime, don't jump to conclusions :P . Yes, I and most others think it's a great anime, but seeing only two episodes doesn't really offer a vast enough viewpoint to make proper judgements about the anime :-w .
  22. You know, some scientists are predicting that the universe will start to shrink after it's done expanding. A few actually say it's already starting to shrink. Emphasis on "few". Iz still gettin' bigga.
  23. Because almost everyone on this forum is [at least partially] introverted, and thus leads a life where this happens... a lot.
  24. Think romantic languages- if they're name ends with an 'a', the odds are much higher that the person's a female  . I'm keen to earing on girls (can't think of anyone who isn't), but small; too showy kind of distracts one from the face (like Necro's example.. geez o_O). Overall it does enhance feminine beauty in my opinion, there's just a line of size/extravagance that I don't believe should be crossed with earings. For males... could care less, don't mind small earings in the earlobes, or even anywhere on the ear, doesn't make 'em look any better or worse. Go beyond the ears though... ack.
