Impossible?!?!?! ... No!!
Yes, efficiency definitely is proportional to a usage of more time. Way to go genius.

Going back in time...Impossible?
Mice for example have a much faster heart rate. So although they only life one or two years, they subjectively may life as long as humans. If you're going to say "nothing is impossible", at least act like you understand what you're trying to refute. Geez.

Going back in time...Impossible?
Too bad gravitational distortion would mess up the image beyond repair :P . Current sats' don't seem to have a problem with this. I assume that if we had the technology to overcome faster than light travel and create telescopes that can resolve man sized images from 60 light years away, then we'd also have solved any minor gravity distortions, be it through advanced software or whatever... ;) That's because there are no other heavenly bodies near them, besides Earth and the Moon, which cause very little gravitational light distortion when the sat's are so close. But you put that thing far enough away, you're going to have enough distortions (stars, black holes, that light isn't going to be traveling in a straight path for 60 straight lyears) and things getting in the way that you'll be lucky to get past the see the Earth as anything more than a blurry dot, let alone actually see what was going on with the little people :P . Though yes, FTL travel is probably going to be the harder achievement of the two .

Jagex jagex jagex...They got it worng? Again?
There's the thinking I was waiting for in this thread. This rule isn't about the ramifications on the surface, but what it prevents below the obvious. Yes, I agree that on the surface it's a moronic rule- it's the player's items, nothing wrong with transfering the ownership back to themselves. But there are problems beyond that, one example being the above hypothesis. If people didn't suffer consequences for their bans, i.e. losing their items, how would the Runescape community react? Not very maturely, no doubt. In fact, to an extreme it could bring in-game chaos, with players breaking rules with no fear of losing any item of value, possibly resulting in the destroying ofany reputation Runescape still has left. Yah, don't think Jagex wants that. So everyone, I urge you to look beyond the surface, to think as the above player did- what is it about this rule, no matter how idiotic it may appear, that makes it necessary for Jagex to keep and enforce?

the wonderful world of...anime
But it should be o_O. I swear, can't search for Death Note images on Deviant without every other picture full of that stuff -.- . I'd ask girls why the hell they like it, but they'd probably retort and ask why guys like Yuri >_<. Oi.

Going back in time...Impossible?
Oh, I've read up on some experiments about that, pretty frikkin' weird o_O. But then again, everything at the quantum level seems to be weird, so it shouldn't be all that surprising :-w .

What would you do if you had a week left to live
Something to do with mall cops, BB guns, and hell of a lot of running.

Going back in time...Impossible?
Err, I'll stick with Sci-fi if I want science-related fiction :-w .
- Adios.

Going back in time...Impossible?
Hey, don't use the plural here, I already knew what you were saying :-w .

Going back in time...Impossible?
Oh, ya, you'd be right in that case, dunno how the star would move faster than the light it's eminating though :P .

Going back in time...Impossible?
I think you've overcomplicating a simple idea- the faster you go, the slower time goes. You can't go slower than the 0, and you can't go faster than the speed of light, at which time would stop, and thus that is the interval within which time can dilate. All this n and SOT stuff, not really necessary :P . Too bad gravitational distortion would mess up the image beyond repair :P . But you can't go back in time. Any hypotheses about time travel into the past are merely just Sci-fi based random guesses, for now anyways. Yes this is the area of quantum physics :) Actually, it's more general and special relativity than quantum physics. You aren't going "forward in time" per se, it's just time dilation. Any and all movement creates time dilation, and thus you are always effecting your movement through time by how much you move. Well, considering it's impossible and thus we have no models for estimating what would happen under given circumstances, it's not really worth thinking about. We pretty much just see it's past form since light takes a bit to get here.

What happened to fun fighting?
I'm sorry, but I have to disagree (all absolutes are false). I have never been a sore loser, even in my hormonal teen years. Contradiction party \ . And a complete bull [cabbage] support sentence \ . Besides, of course, being a grossly misinformed concept. How 'bout "all triangles have three sides"? Or, "all humans have skin cells" or "are impure to a degree"? Or how 'bout, "all humans desire love"? "All wood is flammable"? "All books utilize characters and/or images to get ideas across"? "No one is omniscient"? "All giraffes are herbivores"? "All diamonds refract light"? "All humans need oxygen"? See what I'm getting at? To your point, with infinite sample sizes, your hypothesis might have some grounding to it, as that would nearly guarentee a breaking of all absolutes, other than definition absolutes. But in a finite world, it is completely and utterly wrong. And yes you have been a sore loser in your life, especially considering it is based on varying degrees and not dichotimies. It's not even worth calling you a liar, considering how self-evident the fact is.

Just a theory then (Luck was a bad word)
Then rewatch it. "If you really want a bike, the miracle of your grandpa getting you a bike might happen! ZOMGZORZ!"

Runescape and MMORPGS... Nerd Haven?
"no-lifer" has a colloquial definition outside of "dead", so stop trying to argue semantics and just admit that by the definitions of society one can be considered a "no-lifer", no matter how cruel and vague the criteria are. I hate the term, but there still are logical measurements for comparing quality of life, even if they're difficult to measure. But just because it's hard to gauge the difference in the quality of life between two similiar people does not mean you can't blatantly see the difference of two on complete opposite of the spectrums. It's similiar to a quote from a certain judge: "I may not know exactly what good is, but I knows it whens I sees it." Ah, of course, again with the "hey, at least I'm not drinking alcohol and having sex!" excuses/"arguments". This forum seriously needs to get rid of that, it gets annoying fast. Fine, be annoyed that they're pressuring you, or if they think you're better for you because they aren't virgins- you'd be in the right in that case. Just make sure you don't go the polar opposite way and start thinking you're better than them just because you're a virgin and they're not. :wall: I'm responding to this from bottom to top, so just look down to see my point on Hermit theory, which offers the exact same needed response to this point of yours as well. Living in a shell to avoid all pain is guna give you one sucky life bub. :wall: Because one person is experiencing life [at it's fullest], while the other is just sitting at the computer. What, do you live by Hermit theory, trying to avoid anything and everything that can bring harm to you even if it takes away all potential for the benefits they could offer? Pfft. Didn't work for Spongebob, ain't gunna work for you either. :wall: Oh ya, like anyone here knows even two of the people on their friends list in real life. Worst excuse ever for avoiding social interaction. And even if you do know everyone, or at least most of the people, on your friends list in real life (in three years of playing I know no one who does), IM'ing is no where near as socially expansive and valuable as being with the person in real life. M'kay? Excuses and denial are not something one should willingly attach to, so try to get rid of yours.

Jesus Christ, where the heck did that come from o_O!? I guess Ash is rubbing off on Em :-k . I mean, I [and I believe everyone] knew she'd hit denial, but I had no idea she'd hit it that hard, and so blatantly and instantaneously right in front of Ash  . Compared to the Cassiel parallel... this panel seems to portray Emily as more in touch with her feelings towards... er, and with, Ash :-w .

the wonderful world of...anime
Want some of the most awesome battle scenes in anime? Watch Bleach. Want an interesting plotline, good characters, a unique story, suspense, and a deep meaning behind the anime? Er, watch something else. Bleach is great for the fight scenes, especially when Ichigo unexpectedly obliterates enemies that get in his way (three one-handed lietenant instant KO's :XD: ), but there isn't much past that. Way too many damn characters (kill 'em off!), one of the slowest plotlines in anime, and really nothing beyond the blades. It's a fun show, but if you want something deeper, try FMA, Death Note, animes of that sort. Not Naruto. Stay away from Naruto, please.

Runescape and MMORPGS... Nerd Haven?
Let me use your own words and say 'The fact that you feel the need to justify yourself create doubts'. A lot of people are socially successful, but they don't feel the need to brag about it on a forum topic. Oversized ego much? FIX IT.

Runescape and MMORPGS... Nerd Haven?
But wakka, you're too hawt to be a nerd :o! And I don't think that aj's point is that everyone who plays is a nerd, but that a great number are. It's a bit stereotypical, and I'd use "introvert" rather than "nerd" (introvert being a non-derogatory term), but it's true for the most part.

Weather; does it effect your emotions?
But Rain = MORE COMPUTER!!!! :ohnoes: =P~ Well, that's what my gut says about all this love of rain anyways :-k . Mine stems mainly from an inate love of rain, one that I gained through the fact that it made it so I didn't have to play a sport that my parents were forcing me to do. Any time it rained, I knew I didn't have practice/a game/meet, and after a few years of that it's kind of hard to get rid of my love of rain, even if I don't play that sport anymore. The mind is a weird as hell thing :-k .

commedic/nasty names? how do you like em? read post first
hypocrite much? Heh, someone got a vendetta against me now :P ? Ah well, besides the fact that I was just trying responding to those two posts, and not anyone else's (thus making the hypocrisy of a lesser, yet still existent, degree), I havn't played Runescape in forever, so my funny name memory is a little shaky :P . ... Geez, took me a sec, now I remember one. I actually remembed encountering a player of Level 123 named "kissmy[butt]###". It was hilarious, mostly because I had no idea he how he could have made it to level 123 with that kind of a name, a vulgar phrase with a blatant cuss word right in it  .

Runescape and MMORPGS... Nerd Haven?
Wow buddy, those are the kind of comments that have got me temp banned in the past :P . Take a deep breathe, chill, and go get up and fix your sarcasm detector once you're calm enough not to finish off what little is left of it in the process.
