  1. That'd basically be an anti-gravitational force, or a force that causes bodies to push away from each other, not come closer to each other. Which doesn't exist. Again, what exactly is all this about "negative mass"?
  2. No, my power is four times greater than his. I can finish him off quickly, and once he's out of the way we can double team Rick and destroy him before his other followers show up! Once he's gone, the enemy will be disorganized, and victory will be swift. Come Tip.it soldiers, unite in eternal glory! Defeat the Dark side!
  3. No, it'd be mass. Weight is just the force exerted based on the effect of gravity. Our weight would change if we were on the moon. Our mass would not.
  4. Sorry man, I was just going by what Zouka said: Actually, I think you're right. I just searched and saw one of the parts there, so I assumed it was still there. Just clicked on it, and it's deleted. I saw it a few months ago on Google Video, so I assumed it hadn't been deleted when I saw it in the search. Eh, my bad :-w .
  5. What, you mean on Google Video? Do a search. It's been there, in eight parts, for like a year. As for this debate, I think everyone stopped caring about two months after it popped up. Yes, our care cups are full, these debate NEVER go anywhere. EVER. The sun did it. Whatever. I'm done.
  6. That was my point. I know all that stuff about atoms; no need to explain it or simplify the concepts. But I've never heard of anything with, or hypothesized to have, "negative mass" in my life. What is the evidence that something like that would exist, beyond the existence of antimatter? I.e., I don't think the existence of matter with an opposite charge is proof for negative mass (pardon me if this is not included in the reasoning behind the hyptheses). That's like saying that because there's positive, time, there has to be negative time. Time can't be negative. Neither can mass.

Highlanders, maybe if you used the words "idiot", "moron", "ignorant", "fool", and "apocalypse" less, people would actually listen to you.
  8. Dude, you're telling a younger version of yourself to study. They already know they're supposed to study. That's why you need a concrete reason for them to study harder, not some equivocal "it'll help you later in life" answer.
  9. Of course they're going to listen to and follow that advice :P . Guys, unless you tell your past self that they're going to spontaneously combust at the age of 17 if they don't get A's in every class up until then, they're not goint to study harder, period :P .
  10. No! I will amass a legion and defeat you here!
  11. Okay, you lost me at the "negative mass" part.

I've had long hair. You can't. [that, or use sarcasm tags next time. frikkin' can't tell whether or not you're joking.]
  13. Nope, because the younger version of yourself is just one from a different dimension that's a few years behind ours  . So all this effort is futile, 'cause it'd change that dimension's version of us, not this one's \ .
  14. Cut your hair CUT YOUR HAIR! I literally can not stand to look at any picture of myself from 10th grade until the day I was born. Thank god I've always avoided cameras in the past.
  15. Why is it bad? Why is it good? Longer harvesting season, for one thing. Your turn. I'll retort when I wake up. And no "It'll destroy the world" response(s), please, 'cause the Earth's just a tad bit more resilient than most people seem to think. And I'd prefer you adding more information than your last post as well, rather than dodging defending your case and moving to mine.
  16. What is it of human nature that causes us to prefer hearing and reading about the bad things others do rather than the good?
  17. 10/10 I'm on the same side of the debate as the author though, so it's slightly bias and unfair :-w .
  18. Yes, it'll destroy the entire universe :ohnoes: *. Anyone else sick of hearing that line in TV shows  ? I mean, I can understand some character saying the world is going to blow up, or maybe even the solar system, possibly even the galaxy if there's a logical futuristic reason, but the universe? It's an overused plot device, and it's kind of too much of a stretch for anyone to care :-w . *Use Professor Farnsworth voice here for added enjoyment. Waving hands: optional. [/moronic, abrupt tangent] Nope : . Black holes arise from the compression of matter, not the collision of it.
  19. Eh, I have the most trouble with body positioning right now. I have all the proportions down, but making the drawing seem alive [and actually in a realistic position] is where it gets hard >_<. I.e., I can do all standing and walking, even sitting, positions perfectly (decent, but not great, with clothes as well), but add in the environment, intricate body movement, and interaction with other characters, and god do I get stuck. Actually, that's where I get stuck the most. Dealing with multiple characters interacting in one drawing >_<. Ack. Gotta practice more.

I will never, ever, understand the appeal of gore-based movies.
  21. Bleh. Big eyes and horrible proportions ftw \ . And yes, pencil and paper is great (heck, it's all I currently use), but I'm thinking of branching into digital media as well : ('cause I can't paint [with a brush] or color for crap). In... a few months or so :-w .
  22. Geez, we get at least one of these threads every month. And I'm pretty sure one of those threads is mine  . Here, try this: MANGA UNIVERSITY I've been drawing manga style for a bit, and those guidelines are definitely necessary for when you start out, but the real learning comes from hours of practice, not from reading rules :P . Can't immediately teach the hand what the eye sees; it takes a bit of time for it to catch up : .
  23. :( The part about the cake and candles made me sad.
