  1. Geez, has anyone at Tip.It not been stabbed by a pencil o-o?
  2. Oh, give it a year for the OT. This influx of immaturity into the General Board is having a slight time delay in it's movement towards the OT Board, but when it hits, it's gunna hit hella hard. And I tend to agree Sumpta. Personally, the OT is becoming a little spammish as of recent :-k . Not immature, just... less intellectual, if you get what I'm saying. Maybe it's just 'cause all the intelligient people are tired of arguing the same dang things over and over :-w .

    Get a dog.
  4. Rise Against- Worth Dying For
  5. So, you're whole basis of whether consuming alcohol at all is based on one experience? Err, not a very legit way to prove a case, let alone make a life decision on. Especially considering that the alcohol wouldn't be in your system for that long :-s . Maybe you just had a bad gaming-streak or something  ? That, and you're basing your decision that "alcohol is evil" off of "it makez m3 play games l3ss g00d"? 'kay, that's surprising to say the least :-k . Did you ever realize that alcohol is a type of drug? Or for that matter, the hormonal rush from sex? If you haven't, you need to. (Single-ness and no alcohol as a straight guy FTW. Who needs either one anyway? LOL  ...) ~Mr. Devnull So, your stance is that both sex and alcohol are bad? What exactly is the point you're making about the "hormonal rush" from sex, anyways? And did you know that part of that hormonal rush releases chemicals that have been scientifically proven to bring a couple closer together in their relationship? And let me guess. You're a virgin, and you've only had alcohol once in your entire life?
  6. Well, if we tried to argue this we'd get nowhere, and it would become very non-Runescape, so I think we can drop it :P . And why don't people carry the will and power to stay in moderation :-s ? As for your points, I agree with you. I'm not arguing for the people who live their life off sex and do it irresponsibly, nor am I arguing for the morons who get stoned every night and don't have the common sense to not drink and drive. I'm arguing for moderation and responsibility in those two categories, because I'm arguing parallel to playing Runescape responsibly. Addiction to Runescape, bad. Addiction to alcohol, bad. Addiction to sex, bad. Runescape in moderation (and responsibly), good. Alcohol in moderation (and responsibly), good. Sex in moderation (and responsibly), good. Oh, and stories about drunk escapades and drivers (especially celebs... ack) and sex sell much better in the media than a story about some loser who became addicted to Runescape, so there's a slight observer bias in quantity towards which one "ruins people's lives and crud" .
  7. Yes, you're lucky in that regard. In soccer, I can't really go all out and smash someone into the ground, at least without getting a card. But in football, that's pretty much what you're supposed to be doing  .
  8. With birth control and proper condom usage, the possibilty of having an "accidental child" is .0002% each year (not per each sexual intercourse, per year), and that's when sexually active. (BC holds a 99% per year, condoms 98%, compounded it's 99.98%). Just throwing it out there for you. And for the sake of both lazyness and argument, what about a married couple makes them undoubtedly better fit than any unmarried one to have sex? I don't exactly agree with the belief that sex has to be within the confines of marriage, so it'll be interesting to hear your opinion on the matter :-k . The problem with that argument is that not only sex and alcohol, but Runescape, everything, carries potential harm. Taking your dog out for a walk carries potential harm- your dog may see a squirrel in the street, run after it, and accidentally get hit by a car. Auditioning for a play carries potential harm- if you don't make the cut, you can feel remorse and depression, which if taken too far can hurt one's relationships. Post-marital sex has the potential for harm, both because of STD's and the possibilty of concieving an unwanted child that the couple isn't ready for, nor capable of handling. In the same way, Runescape carries potential harm- and overly introverted lifestyle damages both oneself and one's relation to others, a necessary part of life. See what I'm getting at? You can't just place something into the "can't harm, can harm" dichotomy, because everything carries the potential to be harmful. My point being, being careful and responsible in alcohol consumption and sexual activity can be not only not harmful, but beneficial towards living a happy lifestyle. Just like Runescape- in moderation, it can relax one, but in addiction it carries a much higher potential for harm. Oh, and word for the wise: According to Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs, sex is a life necessity for human beings. This is physchologically speaking people; it's not talking about procreation, but the need within oneself. Sex is part of the frikkin' base of the pyramid, the most important part of survival. Hell, it's even listed next to air, food, water, and sleep for Christ's sake! So ya, don't go around thinking that sex is something easy to live without, no matter how crazy that statement sounds :P . All right, why do you think alcohol is bad/evil? No offense, but other than mommy telling you it's bad, what problems do you have with someone drinking responsibly and in moderation? Sorry, I can't really respond properly until I hear your full perspective on the issue. I.e., I can't counterargue until I know what I'm arguing against :P . Also, if you're willing to answer this, how old are you? [Final Post Scriptum: When did I ever talk about drugs, and thus, why did you make a gargantuan anti-drug statement when I didn't even mention the issue?]

Please, outline for me where you think I'm being rude or discourteous. I can see where there may be some misconceptions of my intent, but it'd be good to see where you're getting those vibes from your perspective.
  10. Rebdragon replied to dwarfdude3's topic in Off-Topic
I wasn't being rude, I was just saying that questions like these can be answered pretty quickly with a short search :-s . Look how I phrased my post. I had no intention of being rude, nor do I believe my post was rude in any way. This forum's just too used to acrid remarks and sarcasm >_>. Oh, and you're welcome for the information.

Site 1 Google is your friend. If you don't feel like looking around beyond that site, it doesn't mention the fact that our breathe would scare spiders the hell away, so unless you're dead (and possibly even if you are...) the mouth is the last place a spider would go to while you're sleeping, on the rare occurances that you actually encounter a spider during that time. EDIT: Site one shows that there is absolutely no data, and this site lists a few reasons why the myth is untrue: Site 2 And another site that goes more in depth with intelligient posts. Site 3 Again, Google is your friend. This took me five seconds of searching on Google and skimming and copying down the first few sites. A thread about answering this question isn't too necessary.
  12. For anyone who's watched Death Note (and/or read the manga, though that's not important here), listen to these dubbed voices, and try not to kill yourself when you hear Light's: DN [Dub] Trailer 3 I may just go rant on the [as] forums, gotta make an account though >_>. I love Death Note and all, but cutting off Bleach at Episode 52 is a crime. Again, couldn't they have waited until the fillers >_<? Sadly, it seems like everyone, even people with frikkin' Bleach avatars, are for it on the [as] board. Oi.

Merely because his observers are imperfect.
  14. Nah, it's this guy. [hide=Byakuya Kuchiki][/hide] It replaced Blood in reruns, not in new episodes. They might literally be cutting off Bleach in the middle of the climax. Hell, if I have my episodes correct, they're going to be showing Toushiro Hitsugaya's encounter with ______ and ______, which is immensely important to the main plont, especially the final Hueco Mundo arc after the fillers. I can't see how they'd just cut if off right there, possibly the worst spot of all time to do it, [other than Episode 58, mebe].
  15. Well, when anime is on the line, especially one of the greatest fights in all of anime, I feel it not surprising that this would be one of my few, if not only, spaz moment :-w . Though, I've been working for the past six hours (Saturday night at a nice restaurant, BUSY AS HELL), so I'm having a kind of "energetic recoil" before I become totally drained for the night.
  16. 6.5/10, pretty koo, but some of the other Samus sigs are beta :-k . Dang, that's pretty sweet. Makes me actually want to consider changing mine up a bit >_>.
  17. is it doing it starting from EP 1? If so I might watch it. [hide=http://www.adultswim.com/schedule/index.html][/hide] ZOMG! I had no idea if Mith was telling the truth, but they actually are starting Death Note! And on Saturdays! In place of... Bleach!..!?!? Wait, are they literally cutting off Bleach for Death Note, right before the Byakuya fight? I can understand just before the fillers, but right at the climax?? WTFOMGZORZ!? That has to be illegal! [image found while checking tonights schedule, just saw that out of the corner of my eye o_O].
  18. Just deal with them until you get to the good refs. Trust me [at least in soccer], there are more good refs than bad. Just depends how lucky you are :-w .
  19. Wait, who :-k ? Can't find 'em through search, nothing in the "raz" section of the list matches (i.e., no one who has posts in that range appears to have an FMA sig, and there are a lot of frikkin' people who start their username off with "raz")... full username please :-k . Anyways, wouldn't surprise me, I just made the sig in five seconds after I saw the image online, while watching Episode 6 :-w . I was like "damn, that'd look good as a sig", so copypasta, and bam, it was done :P . Might try and fix the quality/make a cooler border/make it larger sometime. Mebe. Oh, and 8/10, pretty koo :P .
  20. Weird :-k . I've accidentally stabbed the end of a pencil into my hand (in 6th grade), and it didn't hurt at all. No, I'm not being reterd macho here. It didn't hurt one bit. I mean, I literally lifted my hand up, faced the palm to the ground, and the pencil wouldn't come out (until I pulled it, and even then it didn't hurt). It was like there were no pain receptors in my palm, which is weird considering how many sensory neurons are in our hands >_>.
  21. Aw guys, stop telling him to fix every little detail to make it perfectly match the real world! I liked how the fence and the lighthouse were at first- kind of quirky and unique looking, almost like Dr. Seuss, in a good way of course. It seemed very stylistic, but it seems like the fun's being sucked out of it with each edit :( . I mean, the only thing I'd change is the shading, making it a little more detailed on that front. Other than that, it looks pretty koo :P .
  22. But that's the only way we have to make it interesting to watch!
  23. Ah good. I hear that line used a lot, and it gets pretty annoying, but now I see that your point was different :P .
  24. Ah, thank ye :) . *makes note of all books listed*
