  1. Normally random teams suck.I haven't gone in ages so I don't remember times, although 20 minutes is fast. Really, it comes down to defender skill. Defender is usually the longest one to beat. I've been in a few teams that manage to have the defender be first in the early waves, but I don't think I've seen a uber fast one in the late waves. Idk about the meta either, but I don't imagine there's a large community that has developed much meta in the first place. And probably half the meta would come down to defender skill.
  2. Can I have an explanation on how exactly ahk will help at glacors? Also, I need soul split. Bought the bones. Only 9k bones to altar. Grawr.
  3. I didn't know webpages like that existed until I encountered a tip.it event and joined here. It might have been an earlier time, but newbs will be newbs. :P It's easy for people who know better to expect others to take the simple route. Google IS the simply route! Gah!
  4. *Spellbook Swap* Or, you know, hiddenborrowed power, which I mentioned a few posts up? It completely sucks because, to reiterate my last post, you can't wear an arcane stream or cast surge spells, and each spell costs an additional 3 astral runes... It is an option. Changing the Borrowed Power spell to add surge spells, and make it use, say... ring slot, hmm, but gotta switch to wealth at glacors or something... gloves slot, hmm, giving up barrow gloves, void... boots! Boots would be perfect. Borrowed power would be nice if it just straight up added some spells to lunar spellbook. Fire surge, maybe high alch. Maybe entangle in PVP. Also, that tiger picture is cute =D
  5. You know, the Livid Farm final reward would be FAR far better if they just gave you fire surge on lunar spellbook instead of that necklace bs. Makes fire surge cost more on lunars AND you can't wear an arcane stream. I would totally work towards unlocking that final reward if it did that instead of that necklace bs. EDIT: Oh god, you can't even use the surge spells with hidden power, at least according to RS wiki. Honestly, you know what would make a good lvl 99 magic reward? Which would require like everything else magical in RS? (Like, b2p, God spells, livid...) custom spellbook. Adding certain spells to lunar spellbook would be sweet, but lunar spellbook is crowded as it is. -smacks self- stop dreaming
  6. D= This is why I like frost dragons. Consistent, not gonna die like that. I wouldn't want to solo GW bosses - Glacors/TDs seem like better profit, plus they're easier to get to if you die, have more mechanics and... they're made for solo'ing. GW bosses aren't.
  7. Tyrion is awesome. [spoiler=SPOILER]More people die.

Here's a thought on AOE bending being used to defeat equalists: they are fighting in a CITY. The first time Korra fought the triad thugs, she was almost thrown in jail for all the property damage she caused. Also, most of the benders in ATLA were exceptional bending prodigies. Also, food for thought: before Aang, you didn't find out you were the avatar until you were 16. You didn't master a second element until you were probably like 20 or something. I don't think they can do much regular earthbending. It makes more sense if you think that they can only (effectively) bend metal and not earth. Another piece of food for thought: the anti-bending revolution has reached the point, imo, where removing Amon from the picture won't accomplish much The war and the anti-bending movement has enough momentum that removing Amon won't stop it. Amon took advantage of a large amount of non-benders ALREADY pissed off at benders. I don't exactly know how well-liked Legend of Korra is, but I get the impression young adults (you know, 20 year olds) are fond of the show. And as best as I can tell, it's really popular. IF true, they didn't fail miserably and it isn't just for middling teens. (All I know for a fact about it's popularity consist of this thread, discussions of it on ISE, the fact that ATLA was really popular and that Nick devoted a decent amount of their website to the show.) EDIT: Random thought. We've seen bending being taken away. How cool would it be if bending was given to? Give some non-bender bending.
  9. Heh. Yeah. Well played Enzo, well played.
  10. interesting analysis, so really the platnium in the avatar world could be fairly common. although it still doesnt explain whats so "pure" about it. Maybe a type of substance that can't be bended just makes a good plot device, lol. Or.... When people go into blind sound wave metal bending mode, you see the metal sparkle. Perhaps those "sparkles" are the little bits of earth left in the metal that earth benders can use to bend the metal. High quality purified platinum has none of those, so it can't be bended.
  11. Nobody likes you anymore. Uncalled for. I still like you <3
  12. I want to see Lin do a callback and say otherwise, kicking ass. Anyone still amused all that platinum in the room rivals the amount real life humanity has mined in history? I was thinking the same thing. Especially that whole wall being platinum. They also pretend like the ground and everything else in the room wasn't at least partially bend-able. No, no, they do bend the ground a little. I think the metal-bending fighting style doesn't incorporate traditional earth bending in it tbh. It really seems like they bend metal instead of earth, not metal AND earth.
  13. In large c6 dungeons, if you use a rapier, you will run into a lot of scenarios where the rapier is completely ineffective. More strength bonuses only help when you have half decent accuracy in the first place. "Beserker rings, prayers, pots, gaunts/b neck enhance Rapier's damage better than slower weapons" Where are you getting a berserker ring in DG? Prayer... yeah, ok, you can prayer a fair bit in DG but that's fairly limited. How often do you use pots in DG to clear rooms? Very, very rarely. You aren't realistically going to use gaunts/b neck until 100 DG... and if you bind them at 100 DG, you have rapier, probably a defensive item (plate, SSH) and gaunts/b neck. You're still screwed against monsters that the rapier isn't effective against. Improving a weapons strength isn't useful if the weapon isn't decently accurate to begin with. (All the experts say something about at least 50% accuracy.) The rapier has a few niches in DG, but in general isn't worth binding because of the limited number of binds. There are too many scenarios where you'd be helpless with a rapier bind in DG.
  14. I think I might have that. I have some weird heart condition but I can't remember what it is. Wait, what? Also, that Rune Fic does look kinda interesting. My opinion on fan-fic: it's best if you only use the universe created, not specific characters from the universe. I'm not set in stone on this, but I think it's better to make your own story rather then hijack an existing one. ///rambling New Legend of Korra was good. Interesting that you can't metal bend pure platinum. I expected Asami to do what she did when she took the glove. Also good that they explained where the equalists got all their resources. It actually started to bug me right before cabbage corps got closed down. Asami will make a good bad-ass normal. Also interesting how the best weapon to use against the equalists machines are the equalist weapons themselves.
  15. Double drops this weekend! I'm gone this weekend. sadface.jpg
  16. As for range, your best bet is probably rigour first. As far as I know, ccbow isn't useful for training. It's just a more accurate Rune crossbow - and for most ranged training, the extra accuracy would be negligible, plus there's probably better training methods then using crossbows in the first place. CCBOW is more for bossing.
  17. Try clearing Windows performance logs or equivalent? I've had a problem with a very old (2 gb disk lol) computer which was solved after removing like 1.3 gig worth of old logs. HOLY SHIT Q IS STILL ALIVE @@@
  18. How to merch like a baws: Buy super restore flasks. Realize that the max price for them is currently under what you paid for them. Put in GE for what you paid for them. Wait for people to buy small increments off you for quadruple the GE price? Yeahhh. SO I have 300 or so super restore flasks in the GE. I don't remember exact prices off hand, but they're going for about 7m. GE says 30 of them sold. Cool. I collect the cash. I bank the cash. I put 2.5m GP in the bank. Wut.
  19. Well, how much money are you working with to begin with?
  20. Lvl 137 called NoXpIsWated fishing monkfish while wearing trimmed fishing cape. Wat.
  21. Those sound awesome! ...Then I imagine it happening with RS' crappy graphics. Well, RS' older graphics which are much worse then today's lol.
